Took my car in for repairs and they notified me very quickly. Took care of the problem and was back on the road. I also had asked for a muffler shop reference and referred me to a shop that was really honest and great. Ward service Auto Repair shop has a been in business for a very long time and knows really great shop owners that do great work. 2 thumbs up for Ward!

This auto repair shop is HONEST! My dad's handicap needed the a/c fixed right before mom's funeral. They got us in quickly, fixed it & charged us a reasonable price. They also turned away business by telling us we needed new tires but it would be cheaper for us if we took it there directly rather than their shop driving it to the exact same place . Anyone who turns away business because it's cheaper for the customers are HONEST GOOD PEOPLE. In LA, that's hard to find a good honest mechanic.

Ward Service did a great job on both of my family cars. I recently took them in for overall assessments to get the cars ready to go off to college and they gave me a comprehensive list of items for each car. They were up front with all costs and took plenty of time explaining each item to me. They were able to shuttle me home each time and their customer service was stellar throughout the whole process. Engine began running rough. Initial diagnosis was coil problems, but later discovered leaking head gasket. Honest and professional throughout. Refunded price of parts due to initial recommendation. I took my 2000 model year Chevrolet Silverado 3/4 ton truck to Ward Service on Thursday February 3rd 2022 because the check engine light came on. Jim did a diagnostic test right away and was able to pin point the possible issue that triggered the light. I left the truck at the shop that day and they had it fixed by the following day. As always, great service and outstanding value for the money. Really appreciate the superior customer service that Terry and Jim provided me during this visit.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I've been coming to Ward's since I was in high school and they've done a great job with all three cars I've owned in the last 25 years. Today is a great example of why I go to Ward's for everything.I only needed an oil change and debated about going to jiffy lube instead, but ended up deciding to go to Ward's. While there they did their usual inspection and found that I had a nail in my tire so they drive it to the tire repair place and back and I paid one bill and they paid the tire repair place for me. Great service. Highly recommend.

We take all our cars to Wards! They are honest, and make recommendations to help you save money! They are also very personable, Lalo always asks about my family. Plus they have a car pick up service. It s always nice to find a small family owned local company! Been coming to Ward Service for many years now, as was recommended by a friend. I have never had any problems, and have always felt like they cared. Jim goes out of his way to make customers feel special. As a woman, I have never felt taken advantage of. Great people! Great service!

Professional, knowledgeable and experienced staff. Highly recommended if you don t like the hassle car problems brings. Such as ambiguity, returning problems and tons of shopping around to find the better auto repair shop for a particular make or model.

The car got weird Noise when driving. Trusted the high rating on google and chose this shop. The priority was to get the noise problem solved here. I was suggested to change serpent belt, however, Noise continued and got worse.The new Belt got visible cracks in 4 months.Had to

Our family has been going to Ward Service for all our car maintenance and repairs for years.They do great honest work and will do all they can to get you the best price on quality parts.After dropping your car off at the shop they will offer to drive you home and pick you back up when your car is ready. I've been going to Ward Service for years but just this week I had an emergency and they were great helping me deal with it. I had just bought a new car after my last car was totaled in an accident. Not only did they promptly check the new car out to ensure I bought a good one, they then delivered it for me to the San Fernando Valley where hand controls will be installed so I can drive it. I can't thank Jim and Gary enough for helping me through this stressful time. You guys are great!

When we moved to Ca almost 30 years ago Wards in Pasadena was recommended to us. Jim Ward has been there for us in so many ways since then that when they moved to Monrovia, we decided to drive the extra distance to them rather than use one of the numerous places that were closer. They check our cars before we make a long trip and sometimes find something that could have given us a lot of trouble in the middle of no where!! They've on occasion reminded me to show my AAA card for the discount I forgot about. One time our daughter's car stopped and Wards was a few miles outside of AAA's allowed towing distance. She didn't understand what the new service people were telling her so she called Jim and he talked to them and helped her figure out her best move. There was nothing in it for him, but he took the time to help her anyway. More than once, he's told us a problem was under warranty if we wanted to take it to the dealer. We'd have never known the difference if he hadn't told us (and saved us the money!!). We find Wards people to be highly honest, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Phenomenal! 4th gen family got it right.I am from out of town, broke down on freeway, had my truck towed to them, at suggestion from AAA, in the evening at closing time. They were extremely nice and courteous, helped me load luggage into one of their vehicles, and drove me to a hotel. They called before 9 the next morning with diagnosis. Before noon my problem was fixed and they picked me up at the hotel.The dealership I originally went to wanted 450 to diagnose and couldn't do it for 2 weeks.I can't say enough good about Wards. Outstanding! Thank you for making a bad situation in to a really great experience.

Mr. Ward and his crew have proven their honesty, reliability, and thorough customer service time after time. For years they've been caring for my cars, giving notice of urgent versus non-urgent needs, driving customers to and from home or work. Recently Jim went above and beyond, helping to rectify a mistake made by a third party. Thanks, Ward Service; you rock!

I have been taking my two old cars there for about 3 years wish I knew about this shop 40 years ago would have saved a lot of money, worries and cars. The people here are so caring they make sure I have a ride home even a rental car if they have to keep the car overnight or a few days. I always get the car back fixed and cleaned. Jim Ward shows such patience in explaining everything. I want to thank him and all the staff for helping me with the care of my cars.

We moved to southern California in 1992 and a couple coworkers recommended Wards to us. We started taking our cars there, and would never go anywhere else now. They are low key and never try to sell us something we don't need, they're friendly, reasonable, and happy to give us a ride to or from the house even though we don't live close to the shop. They have saved us money numerous times by telling us when something is still under warranty and could be fixed for free at the dealership; they could have done the work, charged us, and we'd have never been the wiser. But that's not the way they do business! Our daughter had car trouble on a trip and her car was towed to the nearest garage. She didn't understand what they were telling her needed to be done so she called Jim to ask his advice. He offered to call and speak with them himself and then explain the problem to her in lay terms and help her decide what to do--no charge for his time even though he got nothing out of it. Over the years, we've taken several different brands and styles of cars to them and they've never failed us. We wouldn't trust our cars to anyone else's care! They are the absolute top of their field.
