I came in with a minor issue after coming from another shop that was clearly overcharging. I was helped out by Chris and he was very helpful and helped me patch up my issue relatively quickly and at a fair price. Would definitely return if my car ever needs any other repairs.

Chris was wonderful to deal with. I got the runaround with other mechanics who inflated rates with services I didn t need. Lima offered a reasonable price and fast service with a car wash (which was an amazing bonus). Will be back again for their trustworthy work.

My oil cooler went out in my Jeep, resulting in "chocolate milk" all up in my radiator. Very happy with the repair work. I knew my Jeep was in great hands Thank you!If you see that bunny from Nesquik, let him know I need to have a word with him

Professional and organized people with a full-service shop in a convenient location. They only handled a transmission diagnostic but would have been happy to do the required work with them if it wasn't for my budget. My 1st time at Lima Auto Repair was a great experience.. Great customer service. They did a vehicle inspection on my 1999 Honda Accord and explained everything in person and in writing on what was wrong and recommendations I needed for my car.. LAR is Very professional and would recommend getting vehicle service with them. Right from beginning had a great experience over the phone and in person. Was having issues with a/c and let them know what parts I had changed my self. They fixed issue and had the car ready within a couple of hours. Great experience. Honest guys that work here. Just got my car back from this shop after getting my steering rack replaced. If anyone is having an issue with their vehicles, I believe this is the right place to go. Mike and Chris are legit

My brother-in-law recommended Lima Auto Repair to me when I moved into the Temple City area last year. They have worked on my car twice now, both times for maintenance check-ups. (I think that's important since my car is nearing the 200,000 mile mark.) While I would consider them on the somewhat pricey side, at the same time, I would also say that they seem very thorough, honest, and professional about their work, so you're getting what you're paying for. Bottom line is my car has been doing fine since I've been seeing them and that's what counts.

I ve had multiple services done here at Lima Auto Repair and I have always been happy with the professionalism and cost. My latest visit was for an oil change and next up is a brake service. The service at Lima is impeccable!!! Both Mike and Chris go out of their way to accommodate any concerns I might have. They make honest assessments and service recommendations based on realistic priorities and always making sure I know when there might be safety issues. I was with my previous mechanic for years and when he retired and recommended Lima, i knew I was in good hands. All my family members bring their vehicles to Lima and they are equally impressed with Lima Auto Repair!!

I hate to drive so you know Lima is fantastic because I drive from the San Fernando Valley to Rosemead which is a long freeway drive. Mike and Chris are the best, the customer service is excellent, the repairs and maintenance are excellent, they are extremely honest which is rare in business, and their prices are great! My whole family goes there including my mom who lives in Rosemead but also my aunt who drives from Orange County.If you want the best of everything, check out Lima Auto Repair... I've been going to Lima Auto Repair for several years now and I've always been treated very professionally and kindly. Chris the manager always demonstrates good customer service with excellent communication on my concerns. They complete the work in a timely manner and provide recommendations for additional work but with no pressure to do so. They provide me with a ride to and from home if requested. I've had oil changes, brakes, radiator, and other miscellaneous work performed there with no issues. I will continue to use Lima Auto Repair for all my auto needs.

I came here as I do not have my coverage with Carmax anymore since I paid off my vehicle so this was my first out-of-pocket expense and I was a bit wary Cuz this is the first mechanic I took my jeep to oher than Carmax. And Chris and his team treated me very well very professional called me before they did any job with a quote and smooth sailing here so now I got to take my car back to get smog check and hopefully it passes. it does feel better when I turn on the ignition so problem solved I recommend these guys and hopefully while hopefully I don t need a car service but if I do I will go to them againService: Auto emissions testing

Fast in and out. Looked over my Toyota Avalon that I was preparing to sell and they showed me what was going on with it. Gave reasonable quotes. Got an AC service same day and thats definitely doing better now. Seems honest and wasnt pushy I will definitely return.UPDATE 9/19/22:Brought my BMW E46 in to replace cracked steering rack boots. Chris is very knowledgeable, helpful, concise & professional. Highly recommended.

Took my wife's 2013 Ford for a heavy grinding noise they let me leave the car overnight. The next day they found the issue and communicated with me along with other minor issues that the car had. Did not try and sell me other unesicery service ie. Fuel injector cleaner. Very friendly and honest! I had a bad experience with the dealership who told me I needed over $900 in repairs - I brought it to Lima Auto and they inspected my car and told me exactly what I needed and at a fraction of the price. Thank you Chris for always taking my calls and keeping my car running smoothly! Great customer service!

Awesome service from Mike, Chris, and the entire team at Lima auto repair! They were able to help me the same day I needed a repair done on my car and were in touch with me every step of the way. I have to say it s nice to know I have somewhere I can go to for all my auto repairs and walk away feeling that they took care of all my car needs and I wasn t over priced for anything! Keep up the awesome work guys!

I took my 06 saturn to get fixed and love how well she drives now. Got it back the day they said it'd be done, so that was awesome :) I am definitely taking my car back to get more work done soon friendly staff who told me everything my car needed and very informative about future things I needed to fix. I have had nothing but good experiences with Lima Auto Repair. From big problems that I had to have my car towed there, to mundane oil changes! I trust them implicitly. They are kind and respectful as well. I wouldn't trust my car with any other shop.Recently we brought our three cars in for service in anticipation of selling. Everyone involved, especially Chris, has shown us nothing but kindness and understanding of our situation. We trust them to do only what is required without adding unnecessary charges. Totally trustworthy.

I really like the work they do at Lima Auto Repair. Chris has always been very helpful. always on top of whats going on with my car and gets to me right away. Very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend Lima to my friends.

A few years ago, I had reached my limit with the car dealer doing my repairs. My car's model year is notorious for glitches, so I was in the shop all the time. I have been so glad to have since found Lima Auto Repair. I don't bring my car in for repairs nearly as often as I was before. Chris and Mike have been informative, efficient, and helpful. It is a comfort to have found great auto care close to home.

I have had great experiences with Lima Auto. They fix the problem completely and are very honest about what and what is not needed. I had taken my car to Sears to check my brakes and they told me I needed new rotors and new brakes, but when I took it to Lima, they showed me that there was more than sufficient life left. That was 2 years ago and they are still running fine. That gives me great confidence when it comes to bigger jobs, I know that if Mike or Chris recommend something, it is a honest recommendation and the work will be done correctly. They are the only place I take my cars.

Took my Suburban in to Lima for the first time a couple weeks ago to have a nail removed from a tire. Spoke to Mike and explained that this was my first visit here due to my other mechanic retiring that I had used the last 25 years. Mike fixed the tire in less than 10 minutes at no charge. Very efficient and professional. Will be taking all my vehicles here from now on.

Came to Mike and co. for some help with my Alternator/Battery system. After dealing with the Dealership and their crazy fees for a simple task, working with Chris (The Manager) and his team was super easy and headache free. They were straightforward with the prices and what was wrong with the car. They didn't try to add any special services. I would go back to Lima Auto for other car problems and gladly refer this shop to any one I know. Honest and very nice.
