They will get the job done. Not only quickly but for a really reasonable price. The guys there are nice. Took my bmw there 3 times for service and they never disappoint. They know what they are doing for sure.

God blessed me with this place! They saved me $6,000+ by fixing my BMW only exactly with what it needed and not all the other stuff the dealer recommended for no reason. Also QUICKEST turn around time ever I was in shock. Great mechanical work!

*** This is for a visit last year that I forgot to post to google (only yelp) ***Took my i3 into Valley European after a few phone conversations with Randy and Ron. I got a really good impression from both of them and felt comfortable and confident they could take care of a few issues with the car.They BY FAR exceed my expectations. Hands down the best interaction I've had at a shop in a long time (ever?). They clearly and honestly walked through everything they did on the car and showed me several things that the dealership diagnosed that they would have gone a different (and less expensive) way with.I left knowing I've found a home for our little go-kart and will not hesitate to tell anyone who's looking for quality, fair and honest people to work on their European cars to come here.Thanks, Ron and Randy!

Customer service and the work they do here is impeccable. I'm normally very skeptical about trying new automotive shops, but Valley European Automotive did not disappoint at all. The rates were reasonable and they got me in and out of the shop pretty swiftly. Dealing with car problems can be stressful but having reasonable and trustworthy people at your service is appreciated and reassuring. I will definitely be back giving them my business.

First time at Valley European Automotive was excellent! I needed my Upper Radiator Hose replaced on my Volvo, and when all other places were too busy to take me in (as were they) he understood my situation and urgency and got me in and out! I couldn't appreciate this business enough. Thank you for your kind customer service and speedy delivery! I definitely will be doing business again!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This shop always does an amazing job at getting me in quickly, doing solid work, and quoting a great price. I've brought more than one BMW to them, and they've done a great job every time! They even came in under the quoted price most recently, which I really appreciated as a struggling student. Great communication as well. They treated me with respect and kindness, which is hard to find when you're a woman going to the mechanic shop. This review is way overdue. I have taken a few of my cars here to get fixed and I can say this is the best shop in the Modesto area hands down. It has been a real pleasure to work with both Alvaro and Ron. They are highly skilled mechanics with alot knowledge plus I appreciate their honesty. They were able to fix my BMW at a fraction of the price compared to other shops and they also helped with installing my wheels - they definitely went above and beyond and would highly recommend.

I have a 1967 Volvo 122s and I was looking for someone who could help me with this European classic. Ron of Valley European is himself a connoisseur of old Volvos and willingly took on my car with its problematic starting issue. On the same day I took the car in he had the fuel pump replaced and had the car purring like a kitten.A couple of weeks later I had a similar starting issue and I took the car back in. Within hours Ron had fixed the issue which I was so embarrassed by...loose wiring at the starter. Ron did the work FOR FREE, then pointed out a couple other things that I could do myself (replace the battery, change out a gasket / thermostat / hose with the coolant system) without encouraging me to buy the stuff from him or pay for his labor.As you all probably know, this level of integrity and honesty is harder and harder to come by, and Ron (along with Randy) have it in spades. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to have a local expert in vintage Volvos that is also honest to a fault, is beyond competent, is extremely efficient, and is truly a pleasure to do business with.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I don't normally write reviews but i was compelled to do so on behalf of Valley European Auto. The customer service is outstanding, Ron and his crew went above and beyond to complete repairs on my vehicle and on time! I am very happy to finally find a shop where I can bring my vehicles, and have trust that the work will be done right and at a high quality. Nice to see a company that takes pride in their workmanship and giving their customers great service at a fair price. Thank You!

Our experience at Valley European Automotive was awesome. They did major engine repair on our vehicle in a professional, quality way with a fast turn around. Ron and his staff are amazing! Honest, on time and friendly!!! It's hard to find a decent repair service, especially one that you trust. I am so glad I found Lance and his team. I feel like they are always honest and have never to wait too long for the repair or that I have been ripped off (my oil change is $40 less here than at the jiffy lube I used to use....and since I have to have it done once a month because of my job I really appreciate the price difference). Keep up the good work!!

I know the owner of this place and he has treated me fairly and honestly for a long time (from before he opened his own business: Valley European). I have a rare Volvo C30 2.0 that I would ONLY trust with someone knowledgeable, skilled, and honest. I used to be the President of the Nor Cal chapter of the Volvo Club of American. I know a good auto specialist and I can say without a doubt that I will be coming here from now on!

I was stuck on the side of the road around 6pm. Jason from Valley European pulled over to offer assistance. Since it is an American car, he called his boss to tell him the symptoms. His boss knew IMMEDIATELY what the issue was (vapor lock in the gas tank). I just took off the gas cap and it fired right up. So, not only did they help me for free after hours, he was extremely knowledgeable! If they are willing to work on this 62 ford falcon, they may have a customer for life Follow up 8/25/2021: Ron ended up working on my Falcon to get it ready for the Graffiti cruise. Unfortunately he was under-staffed so it took a while, but the work he did was the cleanest I have seen by any mechanics in the area. He took care to do a clean install on everything he touched, removing ugly patch jobs done by other mechanics. I definitely have found a mechanic that I will return to in the future (and he has hired more staff so turn around should be great now).

My family has been bringing our vehicles to Kansas Avenue even before the current owner moved to his present location and over the years we have received nothing but the best service. To say Ralph (the owner)is knowledgeable about his craft would be an understatement. Add integrity and honesty to this description and you can see who you are dealing with when you truly need expert ( foreign or domestic automotive help.To put it simply everyone at this business CARES!!!

Absolutely amazing service, from the quality of their service to the vast knowledge that they have. I am 100% satisfied. I felt like part of the family. They make sure you leave with your vehicle in perfect running condition. They go above and beyond to make sure nothing is wrong with your vehicle. They are extremely honorable and explain everything in great detail and even show you your bad parts once they have been replaced. Could not have asked for better service. I highly recommend this auto repair shop!

I should have read the previous one starReview before sending my wife in for an oil change. The owners name is Ralph and he personally hung up on me after a 2 minute phone call that nobody was yelling or upset.I simply asked the OWNER of the business if he was aware what the average price for an oil change is. He hung up the phone immediately. We live in a world of untrustworthy trades taking hard working people's money every day. Unfortunately this is yet another business model that doesn't care about its customers. 77 dollar oil change for a basic SUV is the most expensive oil change I've ever heard of hands down, and I've lived all over the country . It's pretty sad to think I would have gotten a better deal if I went instead of my wife. Nobody deserves to be disrespected over mechanical work.I hope this helps someone looking for honesty, and integrity

Terrible customer service! After I mentioned being quoted for a cheaper price he literally handed me the keys and said have a good day . There's a better way to walk away from a deal than that! If nonnegotiable, then at least tell me why I should go with you rather than any other company...This was the owner and being a company owner myself, this was a horrible way to handle the situation. I've never had such a bad experience like this! "Cherry popped" Do not take your vehicle here. I'm going to stick with ken at Transmatic. I've never wanted nor have I taken the time to write a bad review, so this should at least give you some insight. P.S over the phone the phone call was great sold me there. In person, completely different...

By far one of the best places to bring your car for service. Ralph is very knowledgeable and if there is something he is unsure on he will not hesitate to call someone who will know. He prefers to fix things right the first time rather then do the minimum and hope nothing goes wrong later on. Quotes are very resalable and detailed. You might be able to get the job done for less, but I can assure you it will be done by someone with less knowledge and possible poor quality parts are re-using parts that should not be re-used. When I have something done from Kansas Auto, I KNOW that the job was done right. It does not matter if you have a simple stock Chevy truck or a custom Porsche, Kansas Auto can get the job done or point you in the best direction to get it done.

You won't find a more qualified, or honest shop in the area. Ralph & Pat are incredibly knowledgeable, and aim to do the job right the first time. I live in the Bay Area, but if one of our cars needs anything more than an oil change, we bring them here. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent service! Ralph was very clear and informative. They located the issues, fixed them and had me back on the road by the end of the day. I will without a doubt be using them for any future problems and recommend them highly.

I took my truck in to get it looked over before taking it on a road trip. They look the truck over called me and we very detailed about what they had found and what they needed to do to fix the issues. No big words, they are very honest and even told me about issues that they found but I didn't need to take care of right now. They are very customer service oriented.

Hello, I want to tell you about my visit to the valley european automotive mechanic workshop and my experience as a new customer a couple of months ago I took my car to that place since I had some mechanical problems, it is an audi and we they know those cars are not any mechanic fixes them and the mechanics in this workshop are specialists in european cars so I went to them and I can honestly tell you that the mechanics who work there they know what they are doing, they are very honest and friendly. I had the opportunity to meet one of the owners of the workshop his name is alvaroy he is a great kind and very honest person he helped me solve the problem that my car had and thanks to his good work my car has no longer given me problems so as one of his clients if one of you they are looking for a good auto mechanic shop where people are friendly and know what they are doing i recommend this place honestly good that was my experience with them as a new customer i m very happy thank you very much .
