Professional and friendly service. They are very thorough and knowledgeable. Workmanship is great. It s obvious that the staff cares about customer service and doing the job right. They stand behind their work. I have been bringing my RV for repairs and service for last 3 years. Won t take RV to anyone else.

Great experience. Called and set up an appointment to get the brakes checked on my motorhome. Appointment made for the following week. Dropped off the coach and they went at it. Next they called and said it was completed. I asked if they could do a generator service too, no problem!Thrilled with the service, price was fair, and the staff was great.I will return for annual inspections and repairs.

I'm talking my 74 F100 here for the first time this Monday. Most shops will turn you away due to the age of the vehicle. I'm glad they are willing to work on my truck. Very friendly office staff. They come highly recommended from a friend. Will post more next week.

I was looking for an alternative to the Ford dealers for my diesel pick up truck. Since I m no longer under warranty, the prices were ridiculous at the dealership. Tom s service has been excellent, they are great at answering my questions and their prices are reasonable. This is now my go to shop.

Very honest mechanic. They are hard to come by. They helped me with my duramax leaking coolant. I dropped it off at 8 and was done by noon highly recommend these guys. I gave them 3 stars because they were really helpful and allowed me to come in so they could have a look at my truck to diagnose what the fuel pump needed. (We assumed it was just the fuel lines). Turns out it had the wrong fuel pump according to Tom. Now, the reason I rated them low is because the estimate they gave me for the repairs on my diesel fuel pump was $1051 and some change. The part alone was $751 and $300 for labor and diagnostics. I asked why so much and the the girl behind the desk said "they were pulling some strings" to get the part because "it was on national back order." It's a '99 Ford F-250 Diesel...So I called my boyfriend before agreeing to pay that amount, and he said absolutely not the part should not cost $751 and I should not be getting charged more than an hours labor to install it. So, my boyfriend called Summit Racing and ordered the part for $120 (it will be here in 2 days) and he will be installing the part himself. So I never went back and probably won't. I do believe they do good work because they were referred to me by my trusted mechanic for my car, but I wonder if other customers are just happy to have their trucks/RV's back that they are willing to pay whatever price. I appreciate the diagnosis, but I am a little bitter that they took advantage of my lack of knowledge regarding automotive repairs. Thank goodness I had someone on my side who knew I was about to get ripped off.

My wife, six kids and I were five days into a two week road trip from Pennsylvania. When our check engine light started flashing outside Yosemite and the engine lost power, we thought our vacation was ruined. We limped back to Modesto. The next morning, shop after shop said they were booked solid, but Michael said to bring it by. They diagnosed the problem and had the van back up and running within two hours. I am so grateful to Michael and John and everybody else there for taking time to help us out. Thank you!Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

We are getting ready to leave on tour and our rv was having some power issues, fast diagnostics and really saved our rv. We couldn t have done it without Michael. My RV burst its radiator. Tom's was so helpful from the first phone call to the last. There words were encouraging and a relief. I was confident they would do all they could to help. They received my RV via tow mid afternoon, checked it, ordered parts and worked on it early the next morning to have it done and on the road by 9:AM to my very pleasant surprise!! The breakdown was a real bummer but the repair interaction was great; it could have been worse but I don't think it could have been better.

I was a first time customer. I asked for an oil change and a tire rotation, balance and alignment. I was called telling me the car was ready. They performed the oil change but failed to do the tire work. The person helping me apologized for the mistake but offered no remedy.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Very knowledgeable mechanics. Fixed my issues no problem. However, the customer service is not very communicable and kinda rude. Also, more expensive and longer wait than others but it's worth that because they really know their stuff

We purchased a 1998 Trex motor home and took it to Toms for a safety review and brake check. They found several things that needed to be repaired or replaced. At the end of everything we put about $4000 into it along with a new electric step they had to spend extra time and parts on. We are very happy with our results and will return to them next year for our oil change and safety check. They go far above and beyond to make you a happy customer.

I cannot rave enough about the service I received at Tom's Truck Repair. I needed an emergency repair on my RV before taking the grandkids camping. Although I had no appointment, they fit me in that day. The girl at the front desk. ...sorry, I can't remember her name....even took time out of her lunch hour to direct me. Got my RV back in time to take the Littles camping after all! Thanks so much!

A salesman from Ford car lot in Oakdale recommended to take my car to Tom's Truck Repair in Modesto. They had my car for a little while, but were diligent on trying to find out what was going on, because it would need a smog check this year. The car may not pass because of it's mystery attitude! Car does run great, but that mystery problem? Shout out to a great owner John and staff Michael and others. Sorry I didn't remember all of your names. TOM'S TRUCK REPAIR ROCKS!! Thank you Armando We were stopped, while on vacation, in our '07 40ft Motor Coach. Our alternator died.(so we thought) With no appointment, they spent half the day searching for the part. It's on order to be fixed the next day. We were given such hospitality here! We parked on the street, right by the shop. He even offered us electricity. Very great place to do business!UPDATE: Next day they had the part & by noon they were checking it out! Come to find out, it is a Broken electric line from the battery to the alternator... which was run underneath the coach inappropriately! The Alternator was Fine! They also found out, the air brake lines were shredded! They fixed & re-routed both lines up over the engine the way they should be.They FIXED what some other lesser company botched!We Highly, HIGHLY recommend Tom's Auto,Truck & RV Repair. They know what they're doing & they do it as quick as humanly possible. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful & courteous. We feel safe now to continue our road trip! Thanks to Tom's and Armando!!

I was stranded, sick, and trying to get my son up to Oregon to start college. Tamia is a Gem!! She did absolutely everything in the book to help me get though the situation and I m greatfull!! It s refreshing when people are trying to do the right thing for people. Thanks so much for your effort!

Swung by early in the morning to have my trailer brakes looked at as it felt it wasn't grabbing. Found out that it worked fine and I ask if he can give it a test drive on the freeway to get his feel for the tow rig. He must have spent 30 minutes giving me pointers and a look over. Cost? Nothing. I've found a mechanic that I'll be returning to again and again.

Have been here with my RV for bad motor for electric drivers side window. Also brought my van in due to passenger side window would not go up and it was raining. They pulled mechanics off a job to take care of me. Now that is service. Very satisfied with not only the work but the customer service. The owners have greeted me each time I walk in the door.

Tom's auto was absolutely great today. I bought a diesel truck and brought it to the shop and John was able to tell me about my truck and what needed to be worked on. Great price and the honesty was what I appreciate. Thank you again John.

Took our Motor home in for an air leak in the air suspension system that I looked for for three days and they found the problem and had it repaired in less than a day!Thank you for the great service!

I took my truck here after it being at another shop and parts were just thrown at it. The guys at Tom's knew what they were doing and found the problem right away! Very knowledgeable here and no BS!! I like this place and will continue to go back!!

Took my 6.0 to get checked about a month or so ago and not only did they give me my truck back without plugging back in the turbo but they broke my clip leaving me to pay $90 for something I already knew and said don't look at it unless you can tell me exactly what it is but five hours later and they say hey can't tell me what it is unless I spent like 4K which I said I don't want you to look at it if you can't tell me! Ridiculous place wasted my time and money. Do yourself a favor and take it to the ford doctor.
