To my understanding. Joe, the boss, knows what he's doing and shows consistentancy in his diligence to run a shop accordingly and honestly. Jenny answering the phones is really respectful and surprised me by her kindness. Todd, the manager always has time to talk and will go above and beyond to make sure things are right. Technicians there are very helpful and will always do the job right no matter how much effort it takes. I'm very pleased by the teamwork and honesty this place shows on a daily basis.

Had my window get stuck in my door, right before a big rainstorm of course. These guys took me in on a holiday and did a tremendous job for a real decent price. Very professional and awesome customer service I will take all my cars there from now on

Went to my appointment at 8:00 am today to have my check engine light diagnosed and fixed. Although I got some pretty pricey fixs for my 2004 chevy silverado the customer service and technical service at Auto Shop are top knotched. Thank you Todd and his crew and a special shout out to Ginnie ( sorry for the spelling) for her top of the line customer service. I will diffently be back to the Auto Shop again after we raise some extra cash. Need your car or truck worked on go see the folks at Auto Shop. They will fix you up. Thanks again Auto Shop you guys and gals are the bomb.

Honest people! I took my Tesla in for a noise on the breaks. Turns out there was a rock stuck. They fixed the issue. Every one that helped us out from start to finished was great! Amazing customer service. definitely recommend them. Service: BrakesService: Brakes

TOP NOTCH. The only words I can use to describe the folks at The Auto Shop. A slightly unique situation, I had to find them strictly on line to send our rental customer to. Not only where they willing to help, they got us in and repaired POST HASTE and got our customer back on the road in no time. Managed to slot me in last minute, tracked down the 4 repairs needed due to a ditch incident, and fixed all the issues in about 2 days. Very kind, very professional, was willing to work with insurance and got the work done efficiently

Very friendly and professional service. I recommend taking your car here.Very honest also.They help me check underneath my car because I was hearing a dragging noise.They cut off a piece of material that was dragging and didn t change me anything .They where happy to help me. So much wrong with this shop, you don't have an appointment time, you drop it off and hope they get to it that day.Took my car in and it took them 2 times to figure what's wrong even after they did a diagnostic appointment. Said everything was fine, took it to another shop and they said nope, something else was wrong. A simple shake of the tire could have found this problem.

I haven't been back in a few years as we got a new all electric car which is under warranty. The old truck which Bruce took care of for many years, needed a starter and oil change. This was taken care of in a timely, professional and friendly manner. My car stalled 5 miles from Turlock so I called them and let them know if it was ok for me to bring it in beforehand. Called AAA and they were there within 45 minutes and dropped the car off. I let them know what was going on and Todd told me he will handle the check engine issue. It was brought on Monday the 15th. Got a call the next day and said it was ready to go! I didn't expect it to be quick. That was awesome. I will continue to use this shop until I die. Thank you everyone there for the excellent customer service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Excellent service, fair prices, great warranty. They do everything they can to solve even the most obnoxious problems. It s been years since I ve been here, but was in town for an event and needed a brake job. Bruce has retired, but Todd is the man now and I enjoyed doing business with him. Honest, excellent customer service. Prices are good and quality of work is excellent. I may save future maintenance for my next trip to town. I highly recommend these guys. I have been a customer for over 6 years. Todd is great and has always been able to get parts for my 2007 Saturn Vu. They have always done great repairs, I have never had to return on any of the many repairs they have done. I've been using the Auto shop for a number of years now and have absolutely no complaints. Well maybe one, they never have coffee and doughnuts waiting for me when I get there.All kidding aside this is the best auto repair facility I've ever used. Bruce and Larry are very professional and easy to talk to, they care about every vehicle that leaves their shop. They totally understand customer satisfactionand the value that a returning customer brings. I've never been unhappy with any of their work and I won't take my vehicles anywhere else. A.A.

Been going here since Bruce & Larry owned the business. Just this week had a starter replaced on my Buick, and when I picked the vehicle up the entire air conditioning system was haywire, buttons not working right, and both hot & cold air blowing from the vents.After contacting them immediaterly about the issue Joe basically said this was my problem, and that they would be charging me to fix the issue that developed while my Buick was at thier facility. Although they say honest repairs unfortunately they also create repairs. Won't be back !

I have been using the services at the Auto Shop since the late 1990's on many of my vehicles. The staff has been incredible and have cured my woes with my cars and trucks. Have been using Auto Shop in Modesto for a number of years now - trust and like them enough that I ASKED them to put their company license plate bracket on both my vehicles! - proud to "fly the flag" of the Auto Shop!Joe, Todd and the rest of the crew are very, very, very, good at taking care of my 2 cars. And they are honest, don't overpromise and under deliver, - in fact very much the opposite -, are very good communicators (and explain problems well enough that even an abysmally clueless person like me can understand what's going on).Auto Shop accepts payment via EFTPOS (also known as Point of Sale, - POS, - or if you're old enough to remember - PDQ terminal- Process Data Quickly terminal ), keep electronic records of vehicles and customers, print out and give estimate prior to beginning work and at final payment for your records, will call and discuss/inform, and cost new problem (if something other then what was initially indcated is required), area of operations (front office/garage floor/parking lot) is neither gaudy and sparking nor is it run down - but is kept very clean, well organised and comfortably presentable.Auto Shop is very much in demand and that good so should you call today, for just an oil change, you'll be lucky to get a slot within 7 days - but if you have an "urgent" seeming problem, they'll get you in a far shorter time (which, when I first noticed it yonks ago, to my mind means they organise and load themselves on a day with an eye towards keeping a little headroom open for these types of problems; something that has been borne out by observation in the subsequant years) - another indication of their professional, well run, effective operation.Have also noticed Auto Shop team is well paid and looked after so they are rarely understaffed from people not showing up, most of the team has been there for a long time, the quality of work carried out is top notch, and nobody seemed stressed out!Yes it costs a little bit more, not very much though, and if you take into account what less costly places sometimes cost you in time, worry, vehicle not quite fixed etc (and all that equates to money), I do consider the little extra well worth it.To my mind being confident your vehicle is genuinely fixed, no hassle and worry about whether the place is charging you too much and what kind of job they're doing and all the good things Auto Shop, Joe and Todd do - No brainer guys. Seriously. Try 'em out. So my review may be kind of silly to some people but that could be just an individual thing lol.. but i did call this morning just a few minutes after they opened to see if they would be able to look at my car.. the lady that i talked to i can't remember her name but was great and honest!... I can't remember word by word but letting me know that at the moment they didn't have anything available but that she would find out... i needed a tune up and a full Diagnostic done.. I did let the lady know that i was able to get an appointment with another auto shop for tomorrow she stil had a great attitude in my opinion So what my review is is the fact that I did get a call back cause not all auto shops will do that so with that being said thank you still! And marry Christmas and god bless

We tried this place for the 1st time, since they had amazing reviews. We can confirm that their service is outstanding! We took our 2007 car in for a repair. Bruce gave us an idea of what the issue may be but did not guarantee anything until he got a closers look at our car. We were able to schedule an appt for the following week. Today we dropped off our car off first thing in the morning (8am). Bruce kept us up to date along the way as we ran our errands. He also informed us of the concern he had regarding our tires. We returned to the shop to find out that our tires were in really bad condition, bad enough that we could have had a blow out. Bruce advised us not to drive back home in Patterson, and replace them today. The service took until 3pm but it was worth the wait. We will definitely come back for any further issues! We got our tires replaced and aligned. Our car is now riding perfect our issues are now gone. Thanks again Bruce & staff, we appreciate your outstanding service!

I have been using the Auto Shop for 8 years after a referral from a friend. I had been bouncing form shop to shop looking for a mechanic that was Humble and Honest... hard to find until my first experience at the Auto Shop.I was a mechanic for several years for a small shop when I was a young man. I can fix most issues but leave the major ones to Bruce. I have found The Auto Shop Honest and Truthful.The Auto Shop has worked on every car I have owned and all my family members. I get quick, accurate quotes for repair. I have never had to bring anything back for the same issue.I will NEVER use anyone else.

I have been going to the Auto Shop since 2015, when I owned my Mountaineer and now going in with my Jeep Compass.Recently, my Compass blew a head gasket. The job was done professionally and in the timeframe given. Today, I drove in because my tire light came on. I was pretty sure I had a flat, but had no idea where to take it to. Joe checked all tires for pressure and sure enough he found a nail! He referred me to a local tire shop and it was repaired (free of charge), just as Joe said it would be!Service: Engine repair

I took my 2003 Chevy Tahoe in for a few deferred maintenance issues. Joe and his team took the time to troubleshoot, clearly explain what they found, and provided recommendations for repair. I am very grateful for their most amazing customer service and patience. Thank you so much for everything. The Auto Shop definitely deserves a five star rating and let me explain why. First of all they are very honest in all of their dealings. I had my motor mounts and water pump replaced, as well as some other minor repairs. I got a great deal compared to other shops who wanted to sell me things I really didn't need or want. They give you options and explain why certain things have to be done, they really take the time to repair things the right way. Bruce, the owner, doesn't have amateur mechanics working on the vehicles like other shops I have been to. Second reason this shop is five stars is because they are very kind and courteous, even the dog who wanders around the shop and greets you occasionally. They call you when deemed necessary if there are changes or if he can save you money on parts with different ordering options. Bruce and his wife are customer service oriented. They care about the customer not just the money, although money is necessary to fix the car.
