I went to multiple smog shops with what apeard to be big problems regarding my truck and was constantly frustrated with my interactions wether it was rudeness or plain out disrespect and just plain not helpfull then a young man suggested stanislaus smog and let me tell you the owner Steve was genuinely a great guy so helpful and patient needles to say this is the only place I will ever go and I definitely recommend stanislaus smog to everyone seriously this place is the real deal shout out to Steve you the man

Professional quality service! I bought my vehicle in for a smog, I left as a return customer! "The man is awesome!" He also does repairs and referrals. Definitely bring your car here for your smog certification!

No appointment needed. The owner Steve is a great guy. I've been going to him for many years. He's also a great mechanic. When I brought my Kia in to get it smogged I mentioned a minor problem I was having and he told me what to look for and I could do the fix myself. Saved me a bunch on the repair.

The customer service is impeccable. It appears to be a mom-and-pop shop which is the stronghold of America in my opinion. So if you're going to give your money to a smog check place, it should be here. Also, what should be noted is the man's patience that runs the place. I know I'm not the most easygoing customer as far as questioning your vehicle goes, but it did not seem to phase their cheerful attitude. This kind of customer service should be recognized and awarded with gratitude of a good review. If I could do more than a review for this place, I would.

I took a chance at Stanislaus smog because my EVAP system was not working and I needed a smog. I have been to other shops and talk to many mechanic's and Steve came highly recommend.I had a short, a cut wire, and a blown fuse and Steve did a great job finding these problems I didn't even know I had, Thanks Steve!

I buy and sell a lot of cars and I always get my cars smogged here. Always friendly always professional and I m always in and out in a half hour. The owners very knowledgeable and has gone the extra mile to help see that my cars pass smog. It s the only place I ll take my cars to. And I highly recommend it. I never write reviews but I ve been so impressed by the service, professionalism and always a friendly positive attitude that I felt it was warranted.

Couldn't ask for better service ! The owner Steve had us go to the office so he could explain to me exactly what was going on with my vehicle. And very patiently answered my question. I personally wouldn't go anywhere else to keep my vehicle safe and running in good condition! I just want to say "thank you Steve so much for your honesty and patience!!!!!!!"

Out of a possible 5 stars, this place is a 10. Steve is a person of skill, integrity, and understanding. Honest and fair, he will go above and beyond to help you keep your vehicle up and running. THE BEST!!!!

Friendly, Fast, professional, clean and comfortable, and reasonably priced. What more could you want? Oh and they aired up our tires when they noticed we were a little low... did I say generous service?

This place was incredible. 4 other smog places refused to help me with my motorhome because it was 1992 and they are extra work. Steve got me in on short notice and just took care of business, being pleasant and helpful the whole time. I will never go anywhere else for any of my vehicles. He made a loyal customer out of me today.

Steve Kosko Is A VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE Technician and All Around Good People. Very Honest and Cares for your Vehicle lile it's His Own.. I Highly Recommend Him.. From Corvette's to Motorcycle's.. Smogs..your in and Out.. And if you Need a Repair because of a Smog test Fail.. He will Repair it at an Honest Price..! I Honestly Have to Give Him "10" Stars..!!!! Way over priced and kind of hidden. But the lady was nice and willing to do my smog check despite her husband clearly not wanting to with 30 minutes before closing. $69.00 if I remember correctly was too much.

Steve at Stanislaus Smog is a throwback to the days when a mans word was his bond .My situation getting a 1971 Corvette that had sat for 15 years running in a garage back on the road and ready to drive safely .Steve was thoroughly involved in my problems and helped not only repair the car but was a major asset to my getting this car ready to hit Reno in August as he shifted his day to day duties to attend to my car .I owe you a debt of gratitude Steve !Thanks Steve your a helluva guy and a great mechanic!

Got my 2000 Silverado truck smogged. Did not have appointment and was able to get it smog checked in no time! I have been coming here for smog certs for many years and recommend them.

Great service, friendly, fast, have been back every 2 years as required by state law. Wouldn't even think about going anywhere else.
