So far 3 visits first one great. Second one one guy was trying to add on a fee that was bogus but refused it. 3rd visit another good service day. And fast service polite people,just know what you want, pricing is fair so I will continue being a client!

I had an engine light and some electrical system codes on my truck. So we replaced a bad tensioner and belt which fixed the electrical codes. Naturally, we reset the codes. SpeeDee failed my truck because the codes had been reset recently, then charged $50. They said drive it for a 100 miles and bring it back and they'll only charge $25. Why not ask customers if there's been recent work before charging them. Waste of my time and money. Won't bring any of my vehicles back to SpeeDee again.

On Monday 12/04, I went for oil change. The tech showed me my cabin filter, which was dirty and needed to be replaced, so I said ok. After I went home, I went to get my mail but I couldn t find my mail key in my glove compartment! I looked for it in the car, but I know the tech must ve lost it when replacing my filter. I called SpeeDee and the lady on the phone asked the tech, but he denied seeing a key! All these years, I never lost my mail key, and always place it in glove box. This was the first time SpeeDee replacing my cabin filter and it s gonna be the last time. The oil change service is ok and that s why I gave it three stars.

We ve taken our car here a few times over the last two years for various things. These guys are fast, honest, diligent, and reliable. They ve gone above and beyond to help get the car back on the road.My wife and I could not recommend this place any higher. Excellent business.

Went in for an a regular oil change. I noticed how it was taking a lot longer than usual. When I walked in nothing was wrong with my car, walked out and my car now is saying it s over heating, I went back and they said it might have been a coincidence

This SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto located on Coffee Rd. In Modesto, Ca, is always a pleasant experience. The manager is very knowledgeable and works with you with a smile. He makes sure your car is taken care of properly, while listening to your requests. He will note your car's symptoms and assign the best technician to repair your car. All the associates are very polite. I am very satisfied with their service. I am a loyal customer.

This morning my car had shut off on the way to work, and I needed it to be reviewed and inspected ASAP. It was raining and my day was not going so well. The owner Mike & his crew helped me very quickly on my car maintenance needs and resolved my issue. Mike really provided phenomenal service, and made sure my car was ready to go again, and inspected it very well. I felt absolutely satisfied with my experience today. I was out within a hour! I been using their service for over 8 years now, and I will continue to be a loyal and committed customer on their car services. I trust them, and the only reason why I always take my cars their first if I have any issues. Seriously if you have any car issues, their the best oil and maintenance shop in Modesto! Very been coming to this place for many year. But ther service I got on 8/24/2023 was very unprofessional. Came is @936. I was told at 1015 another 15 20 minutes. And the employee will ignore you as we'll. Just as favor. Unfortunately I am paying for the service. If I was getting g my service done for free you can do when ever you want. Just be bit professional. It's been two hours bit still here. On the list the oil change is not in.

The owner is very knowledgeable and very professional. He works side by side with his employees and because of his example everyone is very professional as well. They have great customer service and I have been taking my Highlander to them since February 2020 and I can't remember the Owner's name but, ... he always makes sure that his guys are on top of every service and and just by watching how all of the employees interact with him, he really trains them well and they really respect him too. THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES TO ME. RESPECT GOES A LONG WAY. I've not had any problems at all at this place. I definitely recommend this business for Oil changes and you can always find a $10.00 off coupon on their website.

Honestly, I had good reviews and recommendations for this place. #1) I sat ALL day without anyone giving me an estimation of time for work being done. #2) The work done wasn't complete. (I literally was handed back the keys after master cylinder for brakes was replaced, and told, "I'm not 100% with the job. But give it a couple days and bring it back if not satisfied...")I mean is it me or would that be a big concern for anybody else having their brakes worked on? Either way, the vehicle was no different from when i took it in. Come to find out that fill cap of the master cylider wasn't sealed, (part not installed properly), causing air to get in brake line. Thank goodness I or my wife and children weren't in any accidents, but nonetheless a mechanic should NEVER hand over keys to a vehicle if they're not 100% about their work. ESPECIALLY when dealing with a brake issue.

I come here regularly and I rarely review any company but absolutely must do a solid for each person that works here!! I am a firm believer that it starts at the top and YES it starts here at the top with owner: Mike! I cannot say enough good things about this team! Not only courteous, but communicative about everything regarding the service, and very friendly, I have recommended this business to many people that share my opinion! When employees are happy at work that is a direct reflection of their owner/manager! I have been going to SpeeDee for several years with a few different cars and I'm always very satisfied with the service I receive. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Their technicians are up front about recommended service as well as what can safely be deferred. They work with you to make sure your service needs are met.

I got the recommendation from a friend to come here & Im so glad I did. The mechanics are extremely friendly and quick. The inside in very clean and receptionist is SUPER sweet! All I know is that my car had good oil and running and when I left, the motor seized. Checked the oil and it had 3 quarts and not 7 quarts. Should have done it myself like I always do it. They say they have cameras on top but not the bottom. How convenient. Can't record what they do and don't do. My mother went through the same things years ago because of the inexperienced young bloods working there and their negligence. Will never come here again or recommend anyone to come here. Especially because I work amongst many car enthusiasts. I might as well start my own shop and do things the correct way. Down a car for negligence.

BewareCame in for a ac diagnostic. Talked to Noah. Explained to him the issue that the car wasn t taking Freon . Basically they ended up just charging me to add Freon the my car which isn t even a proper diagnostic. Left with my cars ac still blowing hot no explanation and they tried charging me another 200$ for another diagnostic after I just paid 150$ for a diagnostic? I guess they do decent oil changed but If you re having any issues other than an oil change. Just take the car to a real mechanic.Services: Auto A/C recharge, Auto engine diagnostic

They got my car taken care of, but unfortunately they messed up the mileage reading and when I confronted them they blamed it on the employees and refuse to take care of, instead they told me I have to take care of their mistakes how about that for a solution!!!

Great Customer service and a VERY speedy oil change, The Owner is very tentative and is very hands on with every vehicle that comes in for service, The Techs even cleaned my windows and checked the tire pressure.....BTW I drove from San Jose to have my Oil Changed at this Specific location....and I will definitely come back

Had gone for an oil change. Said they couldn t put the under guard back on. They would not have returned my under guard without my knowledge had I not asked them to let me keep it. I had taken that guard off myself once before and knew I was missing one bolt, but they said they couldn t back on. I don t know what procedures they go by or if it s incompetence, but I don t see how that merits them taking what bolts, washers and the whole under guard I did have. They did not return the bolts or washers. Only the under guard. I had to go to my dealership to have them put the under guard on properly. Luckily they had no issue doing so.Service: Oil change

SpeeDee has always treated my husband and I very well. The customer service is always top notch. I have talked to the assistant manager, Noah, a few times and every time he has showed a tremendous amount of respect. Mike and Noah made me feel very comfortable with the service that they were doing to my car. Made me feel at ease, no worries at all with these two. Was bummed out that the last American Tire Depot closed in Modesto. (My oil change and tire rotation spot for years) While searching for a new spot, I found this place. Amercian Tire Depot was significantly cheaper, in hindsight but I defiantly got what I paid for there. These guys here are awesome! Super quick, efficient, courteous and check and top off all fluids also. They also do way more than just oil changes, so keep that in mind too. It's worth paying a bit more esp for the quality of work.

I love this place! the people who work there are extremely friendly! They all work great as a team.They keep you in tune on their every with your vehicle. They don t they don t make you feel like you have been forgotten.
