Side note that smog check appointments don't start until 8:30 am. The check in lady was very friendly although I was there shortly after 7 with no appointment. The car was smog tested very quickly and professionally. I highly recommend this place.

I am so happy with their service and attention to details. I was so sure that I was going to need a new vehicle because of the way mine was running. They fixed the problem at hand and went [over&beyond] with something else that I was not even aware of. I didn't have an appointment, but they took me in anyways. They were upfront about the wait and they kept me informed with their findings as needed. Their prices are better than fair. I have been there twice now, NO REGRETS.Thank you Precision for saving my life and my vehicle.

Precision Auto shop is ALWAYS good. They stand behind their work & their word. They are fairly priced. Easy to get to. Family oriented. Great customer service skills & communication.I have been going to them for ALL my car needs & even my friends van. I trust them

I bought a used truck this past year and have Precision fix a bunch of stuff on it that I either couldn't do on my own or... maybe... may have tried on my own and screwed up. Maybe.No mechanic will ever be cheap, but Precision is great. Their rates are reasonable. They'll use parts that I give them. They get jobs done when they say so I'm never without my truck for longer than I need to do be. I would and have recommended Precision to many people.

Just needed my headlights adjusted and one new headlight installed I purchased the light elsewhere. They were friendly and fast in getting us in and out. Prices were comparable to other places.

Owner lacks professionalism. Talks negatively behind your back when he thinks he has hung up the phone. Classless beyond a doubt. Staff otherwise good but even their respectful demeanor cannot make up for a lousy owner. Even if it costs a more take your business elsewhere....somewhere that values. The customer ... I am also a business owner for over 2 decades and was involved with a family business for over 20 years. I know customer service and this auto repair owner lacks it.

I had just had some front end work done on my car at another shop, and needed a wheel alignment before I started driving it "as is". This is a classic car, and many shops don't have the specs/data to do alignments on pre-1980 cars. I was recommended Precision Auto by one of those shops that couldn't help-- as I was advised that Precision can do earlier era cars.I showed up at around 10am, having made no appointment. They had many cars they were already working on, and could have easily told me it'd be 4 hrs, and that I'm welcome to wait or go home and come back. Or they could have told me to come back the next day.But they didn't. They squeezed me in, put my car on an alignment rack, with a mechanic that knew old car adjustments, and had me out in about an hour or so.The mechanic even took my car out for an initial test drive, and then I saw him come back to the rack (where I presume he made further adjustments) before taking it out for yet a 2nd test drive. I wouldn't have expected anyone in a rush business like that to take the time to test drive a car twice; but he did! I was impressed. The price was very reasonable. I honestly can't remember the last time I've seen a wheel alignment for under $85, and Precision's price was well under that.The job was excellent. For an almost 50 year old car, that always had a tendency to drift left, with the steering wheel not even lined up straight; they fixed all that. I hadn't seen the car drive so smooth and straight, with the steering wheel "center spoke" set perfectly horizontal as I drove down the road.I will certainly be coming back here for alignment or any other needs that I may not necessarily be able to complete in Oakdale. I would recommend this shop.

Had my oil pan replaced. A year ago and I noticed an oil leak but due to the cov - 19 and after several times of trying to get my truck into the shop I finally got in. I spent 1500 hundred dollars and they wanted me to pay more. I will never go to this place ever again. Unhappy customer experience

Awesome shop , being a business owner myself of Courtyard Lawn Care in , around Modesto CA area for the past 30 year's , I've had Precision Automotive make some small to somewhat major repairs on my trucks and I'm pleased to say , that they've always been very fair I'll continue to have all my vehicle repairs done here .

Came here for a diagnostic, they broke down exactly what they tried over the phone, unfortunately could not solve the problem. They didn't charge me and recommended me to a specialized shop here in town. HONEST WORK.
