I think this is the best motorcycle service shop around here. Kurt is really an honest man and will help you as much as he can. Took my motorcycle wheel for a tire change and got it done quickly and for a good price.

Kurt has worked on my bikes for the last 3 years and has always done a professional job on all my bijes services. Today I called him for some work I needed to do to my bike that I had no knowledge on and he went out of his way to teach me over the phone what to do and helped me work on my bike by myself. Kurt is a professional mechanic and a very kind man. I'd recommend no other mechanic to anyone who needs any maintenance done on their bike

Kurt was awesome brought in my wheel without an appointment, he replaced the tire within 15 minutes, he checked my bearings to see if they were in good shape he did not skimp out on the service he provided. Very reasonably priced definitely will be returning

I needed a new tire put on my Harley and needed to head out of town. This was on a Friday afternoon. I was referred to Modesto Cycle Service by Cycle Gear, they were a 2 day wait. Kurt got me in and out within 30mins. Most places won t mount and balance a wheel off the bike with my own tire but Kurt made sure I was taken care of.Modesto Cycle Service earned a new customer.Service: Tires

My Yamaha needed two new tires. I bought them online, removed the wheels from my motorcycle and took the wheels and new tires into Modesto Cycle Service. I was in and out within 25 minutes total for both front and rear. Friendly and easy to work with.

Kurt went above and beyond to help me. I visit my girlfriend once a month in Modesto and had a rear tire go flat at 70mph. Thankfully, I was able to stop the bike without going down. Kurt helped like most shops wouldn't have. I own my own MC Tire shop in WA and would take my business in a heartbeat! Thanks again Kurt!Service: TiresService: Tires

I had gone to cycle gear to get my tire swapped over and those guys had told me it would be a few days and I had to leave it there. I had come down to Modesto cycle service and Kurt hooked me up big time and I was able to wait while he did my tire in a very short amount of time! Much appreciated and everyone should go get their work done here! Solid dudeService: Tires

Brought my r6s here for installation of a chain and both sprockets, the owner gave me a super fair price and when I asked about a rear tire replacement on top, he cut me a deal since it's already part of the chain change. Work was done in no time and a general safety check was done on the house. After the job he gave me tips on how to maintain the new parts and sent me on my way. Super thrilled with the work and I'd recommend this business to anyone looking for bike work done.

It's a great locally owned shop that does amazing work in a timely manner at a reasonable fair price. Kurt and his team are highly skilled and trained technicians who explained everything to me. I'm very happy with the work that was done and I'll definitely be coming back for all future needs.

Owner was very friendly and helpful. Quality work at a reasonable price. After I paid my bill. He helped me with a battery problem, at no additional cost. I would recommend him to anyone needing motorcycle repair work. I definitely will return in the future.

So I too my two quads to Modesto cycle service.1. They are probably the best repair shop around for quads and motorcycles. I felt like I was treated with the most respect and good pricing. They repaired both of my quads and serviced them in a timely matter I got them back when they said they would be done and the price was what they quoted me. They are a very friendly group of guys at the shop. The shop is very clean and well organized. I was very satisfied with my service and would highly recommend them. I would give them 10 stars if we could rate 10 stars thank you very much Modesto cycle service you guys did an awesome jobServices: Carburetor cleaning, Engine repair, Battery, Oil change

I m feeling very lucky to have found such an honest, transparent, and professional mechanic. I m a new rider, and have had no prior experience with motorcycles let alone servicing them. Owner is extremely respectful and polite, he explained everything he did in extreme detail and charged ridiculously low for the quality service I received. 1000% recommend, i ll be back!

Based on the recommendation of a friend I took 2 Quads in for long over-due service. Met with the Shop Owner Kurt at drop off. He kept me updated thru the entire process did everything requested including an unexpected detail upon completion. Pick-up was arranged and went off without a hitch. Price quoted was more than fair and was the price charged at the end of the transaction. All-in-All -- GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!! Thanx Kurt, I'll be back..Services: Carburetor cleaning, Engine repair, Battery, Oil change

Phenomenal service and the owner even remembered what size of tire I needed when I got there after a call I had made looking for that specific tire. The place is nicely clean and the owner was very responsive and respectful. I will definitely be coming back for any motorcycle needs or service.

Kurt is awesome. When I first started riding he let me know everything I needed to maintain and helped me find good deals on parts. He's fixed things I "repaired" myself and even kept the shop open when I wrecked my back tire to replace it quick before a trip.

I took a trip to Modesto and got a flat on Easter day. They were the only shop open the day after and they got me set up with a new tire in thirty minutes. Great owner, very knowledgeable, gave me good tips for my trip back.Service: TiresService: Tires

I paid $691 for tires, chain/sprocket service and a very, very bad experience with this shop--1. Made an appointment for tire installation at 9am. The owner, Kurt, arrived late by about 15 minutes. In addition to that, he left his shop keys somewhere and so couldn't open the shop right away. He made me and two other customers wait for his assistant, who had another set of keys. After waiting for about 45 minutes, the assistant still hasn't come. I had to leave my bike for the day because Kurt couldn't tell what time he would be able to open the shop and start working on my bike. I used Uber to get back home instead of being able to wait for the bike to be done. Uber was $25 going home.2. I ordered a pair of Shinko 805 tires, front and rear. When I came to pick up the bike, it had Shinko 705 tires on. When I asked why, Kurt became angry and insulting, saying that there were no such thing as Shinko 805s. I insisted that there were and that those were what I ordered. He checked his book and saw that there were indeed Shinko 805s. He said that they were trashy tires, though.3. He offered to replace the Shinko 705 tires if I didn't like them. I opted to use them anyway, to save time. I will go to another shop when the 705s wear out.4. I do not ever want to go through the same experience with this shop again.John

worst experience I've ever had in California, no respect to the shop or this person( Kyle). He lied about the part(fork) he sold me, I told him next day it was wrong part and was taken from the 1st generation ... no response for a week and then I ask if I can stop by and get refund and this what I got: 'That money was spent the day you drove off doesn't matter it came from the shop or someone's garage you bought used parts and you should know what you are looking at as a buyer'. lol, good luck with the business, Kyle!!!

First and foremost I was really surprised by how organized Modesto cycle service was and to also to note the owner with me knowing nothing about bikes wasn't judgy and taught me alot so I felt I wasn't ripped off. I was even more surprised that the safety check and tire check did not take alot of time. Would recommend to friend's and family.

Dear people, just a kind advice! If you re taking services and or purchasing from this guy (Kurt) pay attention that he comes up with an agreement and at the end of the day he turns into a another person, very disrespected, such a irresponsible. I had a purchase from him, he took an advance and later when I contacted him he blocked my number, and today he refused to give my money back. After a long useless lecture I got my money back.

My new Yamaha Street bike called for a 600 mile oil change. No Yamaha dealer in Modesto, called Merced, Tracy, even Gilroy where I bought the bike, service departments all booked until end of July. Stockton offered a first come first served free-for-all on any Saturday morning, seemed like a risky venture 30 miles from home. Kurt was obviously busy as well, but listened to what I had started out thinking was a reasonable request, set me up for a week later, let me supply my own o e filter and premium oil, performed the service professionally and without the victimized moaning I ve come to expect from EVERYONE since the coronacircus began. Clean timely work, excellent customer service, shame on Yamaha for running the first service off to an independent. To my advantage, I ve found a local business being run honestly to help with my future needs. Kudos.

This guy is amazing definitely really professional and super helpful I've trusted with two of my bikes and haven't regretted it since he's currently helping me rebuild my recked gsxs 1000 and helps me with everything and makes sure everything is safe before I start riding it again

This guy is an idiot and doesn't know what he is doing he will have multiple people look at your bike not be able to figure out what's wrong give no diagnosis but want to charge you 200$ for nothing being done. He had loser people hanging out at the shop as well. I'd give Zero stars if I could. If you care about your bike don't bring it to MODESTO CYCLE SERVICE HE WILL SCREW YOU OVER.

Serious attitude problem. Just look at how he responds to 3 star reviews (which is better than neutral) and under. Shouldn't be dealing with customers but I have a feeling he doesn't do well working for someone either. One star because the work was done.
