Great help at counters, installers are fast and take care of your vehicle. Have lot of different price options.i ended up with the best stereo i had in a truck in my life. 2 amps 15 inch speaker and custom box and the stereo did everything and more. Highly recommend and they carry the paperwork on somethings.they do motorcycles and boats too

SMOOTH TALKING CON ARTIST!!!These people are scam artists. First price check your equipment online and you will see they doubled the price your better off ordering it yourself. Also I took my 1966 mustang in there for a system install they did the work incorrectly from the first day I took it home stereo cuts on and off. I took in back 2 times still the same problem. I filed a complaint after they said it was something I did. I have had stereo systems installed for years never had this problem. They lied to the better business bureau saying I blew the subs several times and they replaced it. That's a lie because the subs and the system works while in park but when I drive it cuts off. Nothing is blown just installed incorrectly. Take it from me don't come to car toys. I have had systems installed since I was 15 in this car I'm 30 years old now never had people lie or cheat me out of my money for a stereo system.i just want my money so I can go get it done right $700 for a stereo system that only works in the driveway. All I have to say is karma and the customer is always right.

There lies don't beleave anything thay say. They will just want more money even though thay tell you what ever thay want to get a sale and if you have any problems thay will make you pay to get the exchange even though thay say if anything happens just bring it back and will swap it for a new one no problem. Thay will tell you one price on the phone then jack it up to make a buck. Don't do business here you will regret it we service in house. You have to pay the tax. Or you need to pay for the shipping back to the company witch is it. Any of the above as long as you pay us more. Do not waste your time or money this won't be the last thay here from me 468 to file for small claims gladly payed see you in court

Very happy with the service here. Sood helped me choose what I needed and nothing else. There was meticulous transparency from start to finish, and I was informed of exactly what I was paying for and why. The install was speedy and flawless. The sound system is loud, clean, expressive and dynamic. Great experience. Thank you!

I went to get my audio system checked out because my tweeters kept shutting off one after the other. At first, the audio system was excellent, but now I'm starting to get disappointed. I ended up buying something else to stop the problem, but it didn't help whatsoever. So now, I feel like I paid for something that I didn't need, and my tweeters keep shutting off. the audio is only playing in the back of my car after one song.

Had such a great experience. Walked in and everyone was very friendly and helpful. My speakers were put quicker than I'd expected. I will definitely be back to add more and highly recommend.

This has honestly been the best shopping experience I ve had in a while even though I don t have a lot of money, I was able to get a a perfect audio system through their incredible financing system. Thank you, Modesto Cartoys.

I couldn t be happier with my experience at Modesto car toys. I stopped at 4 local shops and 2 of them were just pointing to the most expensive stuff they had with no real explanation as to why I should buy it.The moment I walked through the doors at Modesto car toys I had the owners full attention. He went over all the options they had to fit my needs and broke down costs so I could choose something that fit my budget.I met some of the other guys that work there and everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was happy when I left their store. I ll definitely be going back to get the rest of my speakers wired up from them.

Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. They did professional work and went above and beyond to ensure I got the right head unit for my ride. I definitely recommend popping in if you're in the market for a new car stereo or speaker upgrade. They also provide many other services to customize your ride. Isaac and the gang will take care of you. I'll be visiting them again soon.

Don t recommend this place , I took my canam x3 to get my sound system wired up and they just did it fast without wiring it properly, almost all wires were sticking out All the wiring was just smashed inside panels so you won t see them .. all wires to the amp where exposed and making contact with each other . They cut wiring from the canam that powers the lights and didn t bother to repair it .Just a horrible horrible job for what they charged me won t ever go back to them and 100% don t recommend.

Awesome group of guys here. All of them were a huge help and didn't try to push anything on me I didn't want. Not only did they put up with me being weary from past experiences at other shops. They took the time to show me their personal vehicles and guaranteed my satisfaction. My mustang is my baby and in immaculate factory condition.They did a great job putting it all back together during install. The car sounds amazing. I would highly recommend and will be going back to get the wife's car done very soon.Thanks guys.

They will rip you off, they will not refund you cash only give store credit. They will lie to you about any audio questions. I had no use for there store credit so I decided to take a stereo instead, they told me they will trade a $300 subwoofer box straight across for a pioneer stereo I look up the stereo when I get home and come to find out the stereo they gave me is only worth $99. I should of looked it up at the store but being frustrated with how they run there business and not sure if they will honor my store credit later down the road I just made a split decision. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF

My son and I stopped in at car toys cause he s just getting into sound.. Isaac took the time to understand my sons budget and the sound he was looking for. Not only did he pick out pieces in my sons price range but he took the time to explain the process and what was needed and why, I was impressed not only with his knowledge but the time he took to connect w customers as well. We weren t treated like just another transaction. You can tell these guys know their stuff. As my son gets further in this I m sure he will upgrade, switch out, etc and we feel confident that car toys is the place to go. 5 stars and an amen lol

Stay away! These guys are a joke! I knew what products I wanted just wanted a quote...but of course they wanted me to come in to get up sold so when they realized I wasn t the one, they hung up on me. Is that the kind of customer service you want if you do business with them and have any type of problem you call them and they ll just hang up on you. I tried calling all the other stereo shops in the Modesto area and all of them were kind enough to give me a rough estimate quote which is all that I asked for from the shop. I guess my 5k budget wasn t enough.

My husband has always taken his cars to MCT this time her sent out daughter in and Carlos was amazing he help her find her first stero and car alarm not pushing her into any to experience. Carlos even went over everything detail with us the next day to make sure it was going to work out for her and let us know about the extra safety features that were available. We have more trust in MCT because of Carlos and will continue to do business with them.

This is the first review I have ever written. I wish I would have read these reviews before I went into the store. This was one of the most unprofessional places I have been to. They treated me great until after I gave them my money and then they treated me like garbage. When I picked my truck up and listen to the sound I was very disappointed. I asked for a refund or a replacement and they said no all sales are final. When I tried to reason with both the salesman and owner they both decided that yelling at me and making me feel as if it was my fault because I didn't have enough money to give it the best sound. They sold me product that they are not even authorized to sell and like the other reviews say you feel "scammed" when you leave. I hope that this review will save someone else from having to experience what I did.

These guys are clowns. Just looking for a quick sale, incapable of listening to what a customer is telling them. No organization, no tact, nothing. Dont waste the money that I wasted. P.s. Literally don't have a computer on site, so keep your receipts handy.

Issac was great with helping me choose the best route to go with my stereo system. I shopped around before choosing Car Toys and they re prices beat everyone else by 100$ if not more. Quality of the work was excellent. Car sounds clean and definitely will be going back for any other work. Highly recommended

Car toys is the place to go for your sound system needs! I've only gone to them after looking around when I first got a system and I'm beyond happy with choosing them. Izak is a great dude and takes amazing care of his customers! One of my amps went out on me and Izak upgraded my amp to a better one at no cost! I'm a customer for life and appreciate everyone at Car toys!

I come here to get a stereo for my all 230 Mercedes and thatz what I got and it soundz nice for just one 1000wattz 12 JBL'z and a crunch 600 watts amp gave me a $200 knocked off my $ 1,350 paid $1001.

I was really disappointed with the service I was provided today. A whole bounce of lies. I basically paid brand new full price for something that has been discontinued 2 years ago and I was given 2 different prices when I got to the store. This is my first and last time I m going to this place. No professionalism and horrible customer service. Over priced and old product s as soon as they get paid they forget about you and start to greet other customers. The store smell like weed and they basically force you to buy stuff. I don t recommend anyone shopping at car toys Modesto

Good customer service, nice lounge and friendly. However I did get the feeling of being scammed. Bought a stereo with a supposedly free installation. Car was done on time within 1 hour however after completion I was informed that it would cost me another 60 dollars for the rear and front speakers to work and needed to be rewired. So only the two tweeters in the front would work. I'm an automotive technician and could do this myself and it doesn't take much to just hook up the wires. Seems like they just wanted to see they can get an extra 60 dollars.

First I'd like to say don't buy your own wiring if you want them to put it in you would have to buy theirs. But I think that's how most businesses are. So my experience with them is that I went in to have a amp installation kit put in my car was a little pricey but I did not mind cuz I wanted it. Turns out I blew a couple fuses because I didn't put the tape on correctly when I took it to them so I returned today and they took care of the problem for me. Let's just say I am happy customer and I will be returning
