I purchased a replacement auto battery 2-3 years ago, and has been trouble-free since.This latest visit was for a replacement battery for my iphone X. It was at 70% capacity, and needed to be charged often during the day. Bought the battery online and scheduled a install appointment in the morning.Dropped off the phone and returned an hour later with a 100% capacity phone.Really pleased with this store in Modesto, Ca.Keep up the great work and service!

Awesome store. They have literally every bulb! I needed a headlight bulb for a really old Italian scooter. They got it for me! I highly recommend!

Very disappointed. Took my iPhone 12 in to have my battery replaced to help my phones performance since the Battery Health had dropped to 82%. Being told that when the Battery Health hit 80% you should think about replacing the battery so I thought I would replace it a little early. Their salesman told they did not have the battery in stock but they could have it in a few days. Received a call to go ahead and bring the iPhone in and they will replace the battery. We I came back to pick up my phone I was told they broke my screen and they had to order a new screen and they will call me when the new screen arrives. Again I received a call saying the parts are in and to bring my iPhone back and they will complete the repairs. They replaced the screen and installed the new battery. When I got back into my car and looked at my iPhone. Noticed I had a waring light on so I walked back into the store and showed the salesman. He told me it's ok. Since the battery was replaced I need to give it a couple days and it will go out. Well the warning went away but the Battery Health option was not working. Back into the store again. This time the store manager came out to look at the iPhone and then tells me that that option will not work because they did not install a Apple Battery. After 3-4 weeks my battery life is nowhere near what my OLD original Apple Battery was so I took it back into the store again and the salesman tells me the manager is not in and to come back next week. Next week comes and I go back into the store for the 5th time. The manager asks we well what do you want and I said I want my iPhone to perform like it did before I brought it in. He then tells me I should have had a Apple Battery installed. I then told him I did not know he was not installing a Apple battery. They did not give me any options. When I asked for my old battery back he said they don't keep them and it was sent out to a recycler. To get me out of the store he went to his cash register and pulled out cash giving me my money back. Now I'm NOT out any money but my iPhone does not perform as it did before I brought it in. Make sure you know what type of battery you are getting and make sure it is FULLY compatible with your cell phone!

My son came up from Southern California with my grandkids to attend his 20th year class reunion. Before leaving for the party, he learned his key fob battery had died so he had to borrow my car to attend the reunion. Since he intended to return home immediately after the reunion, I found myself with grandkids to babysit and no transportation to procure a replacement battery for him. My sister was at a gym located near Batteries Plus but had only taken her ID and gym pass so no way to pay for the soon-to-be-needed battery. Fortunately, Batteries Plus had a very easy solution to all my problems. I was able to order and pay for the battery through their website, which they had in stock, and designated my sister as the pick-up person. When my son came home after his class reunion, I was able to pleasantly surprise him with a fully charged key fob and a couple extras for future use all thanks to Batteries Plus and this additional feature offered through their website.

After at least an hour spent trying to find the right lightbulbs for our ceiling fan online, I was able to place an order here to pick some up in-store. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful during pick-up and the website was much easier to use to find our items than all the larger retailers I checked. I'll save time in the future and always start here!

Absolutely ridiculous! Placed an online order which said is ready for pickup. Went to pick it up and they don't even have it in stock. I asked to speak to the owner and was told sorry the owner doesn't like dealing with customers. I simply asked for my refund and left and will never be back.

I have been going to the Batteries +Bulbs on McHenry Ave. a few times now for my Samsung 8+. This store is Certified to repair Samsung phones, with original Samsung parts. Which is a must for me. They are very fast and careful not to chip the edge of the glass screen. It takes 1-2 hours usually. The prices are fair. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The manager has the patience to answer all your questions, and explain them in a way you'll understand. Even though this last visit my phone was unrepairable due to water damage. He went out of his way to show me the actual damage done. Even though he couldn't do the repair himself, he gave me a number to call who might be able to salvage my phone. At least he gave me hope. I don't know about you. But, when I have a phone for years I hate breaking in a new one. I highly recommend this store. You won't be disappointed.

Online shop $35 annd HERE $20 for 2 bulbs. Even amazon could not offer me a confident choice. Shop her for service, knowledge and PRICE. Each visit I grow more impressed.

First time visiting this store and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Someone greeted us right upon entry and asked what we needed and answered any questions we had. Will be back again.

Terrible customer service they treated my father with so much disrespect that he was livid. Completely rude completely disrespectful. The management does not care about customers needs.As a person that s worked in retail before I know what a Karen looks and sounds like. I often don t leave poor reviews because I don t want to make an employee s life more difficult. This is not one of those situations. When you pay for a service you intend to have that service completed. I would not recommend this location. Skip over it and find another one.

Took my phone in for a square trade replacement of my screen, and wasn't told they'd be replacing the battery at the same time. Which they had every opportunity to do, because they asked me during intake if I needed a new battery, and I said no, I just need the very obviously cracked screen replaced, the battery was fine. The guy just shrugged and said okay. When I got my phone back, the battery was at 17%, when it had been at 80-something percent when I handed it to them an hour ago. When I asked what ran my battery down so fast, *that's* when I was told that because of how the replacement parts are set up, the screen and battery are part of a single unit and they could not have replaced the screen without also replacing the battery. Seems like that's something that could be mentioned up front, especially when they asked about the battery in particular. They also did not notify me when the repair was complete. I let them know I'd be in my vehicle right out front the whole time and to wave out the window or something when they finished, and they said that would be fine. However it wasn't until I noticed one of the employees leaving and the other going around the store turning off lights that I saw how close to closing they were and went in to inquire about my phone. Like, were they going to close shop and just keep it, or how did they think they were going to contact me to let me know repairs were complete if they had my phone? I also saw when I got home that I was signed up for some kind of email newsletter or reward program, something that asked me to add a password and confirm my account. I never gave them my email address (I can only think they got it from my insurance claim) or permission to sign me up or subscribe me to anything and don't appreciate being blindsided in my inbox. I only brought my phone here because it's the authorized repair place for my insurance, and I would rather pay more out of pocket than do so in the future. The few times I've had to stop here for batteries, the employees were by turns taciturn or condescending, and the prices are way higher and the product no better quality than stopping for a 12-pack of duracells at Target. I won't be back by choice.

I came in bought a battery for my vmax and turned up to be a bad battery brought it back to find out that I didn t have a warranty because the store didn t charge it! For one the manager who helped me didn t disclose that info at all I never woulda left the store now they won t give me my refund worste place shoulda just went to auto zone

Bought a battery from batteries plus in September. I chose batteries plus as they have Duracell which us a reputable brand. That was my first mistake. Battery failed after less than a year and I went in to have a warranty exchange done, I was told that this was my fault because battery was below 10 volts. So Jacob the store manager told me that I would just have to buy a new one or see if they can charge it. Well this encounter was on Saturday July 16th. Fast forward to Wednesday July 20th and still have not gotten a call so I decided to call in. Employee told me that they would call me in 30 minutes as they hadn't gotten to it yet. (This was at 11:30) fast forward 3 hours to 2:30. I got a call and was told that my battery failed.all in all I would say that customer service ( Jacob was quite snobby), service, and products batteries plus sells are sub par and deserve 0 stars but that was not an option so I had to settle for 1. DO NOT BUY CAR BATTERIES FROM BATTERIES PLUS!! Walmart has better batteries and customer service. I will update after I pick up my failed battery

We have been waiting for two weeks to receive information on parts that were ordered through our insurance company. When we finally called there today after expecting a call or an email back for two weeks we were told that there s no trace of us even contacting them. When we asked them to check the email they said only the store manager can check the email and the store manager isn t there. So that means that if they have received the email the store manager has not done their job to get back in contact with us. So Shannon, store manager did you want to help us out?!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I went to get a phone fixed. And when I pick it up there were still problems. The next day I came back to see what could be done. The workers were so rude, and said it wasn't their responsibility if the phone didn't work... well I paid for my phone to be fixed. Then they told me all these other problems with it. So I was back to square 1 except paying $180 and being treated in a disrespectful manner.

My phone broke and my insurance Company told me that I needed to bring it to this location. When I called someone at the location said that they cannot take my phone until the parts have been ordered and received. They said they would email me once the parts had been received. Two weeks later still no email. No call. So we call down there to get more information on how we can expedite the process. And we are told that we never called we never left a message and that they wouldn t have done it that way. The manager refused to help my father. The manager refused to apologize for the situation. This is the only location that I can bring my phone to so I had to come from out of town. To have employees gaslight us as a customers and tell us that it was our fault that they made a clerical mistake, is a disappointing to say the least. Now we have to send the phone in across country in order to get help. I would not recommend this location. And I do have 47k followers on TickTock who I will not recommend this location to as well. I do intend on letting everyone I know know how unhelpful and disrespectful the specific location is. I m also writing a lengthy letter to my insurance company and hopes that they will stop working with a specific location.

Let me start buy saying that I really wasn't clear about what they actually sold in their store... So I went to get a new battery for my motorcycle from an auto parts store, which they didn't have in stock... Went to another one and the staff was made up of mostly younger kids that were clueless about motorcycle batteries... So I remember driving by this place hundreds of times and decided to give it a shot... I was amazed at their selection and the young lady that helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly... Was a great experience and they are now at the top of my list for anything battery or bulb related...

Excellent experience here. We needed a battery for our Pyle vacuum which are currently unavailable from Pyle or anywhere online. Batteries Plus Bulbs built me a new one cheaper than online and it was done within four hours. Very happy and will keep them in mind for future battery needs.

I just recently took my phone to this establishment to fix. It was repaired superbly and in a timely manner as well as the customer service- truly awesome- I especially remember Shannon, whom helped me to a tee, as well as the agents there who have such great personalities and product knowledge as well.I definitely refer everyone and anyone to Batteries plus bulbs if ever you need their wonderful services! Will definitely be back again.*Cheerz*

Would have given a 10 but the stores close to me didn t have the battery so I had to drive an hour to pick them up. However I was very happy with the service and associates who were friendly and helpful. Will definitely buy from them again in the future

I was looking for a very specific plugin that was an adapter Universal Style but you don't need help me new right away they wouldn't carry it everything I had was half the power and it was pretty specific what I needed it 4 and quickly told me I would have to go online and find it. Even though I drove across town and they didn't have it they were knowledgeable friendly and that made it worth it.

My first visit, I wanted to get some battery's welded together that I did buy off the internet. I had completely forgotten about this company selling the ones I needed to rebuild a rechargeable 18 volt.I had already glued the pack and ordered the batteries correctly the only thing left was welding to the corresponding next battery. One side of the tabs was already done because that's how they came. So something that would of taken about 10 minutes Tops I was declined. This was after a call in and I asked over the phone if this company would do that for me and was told yes over the phone. After I arrived to get the work done I was told by the ,I'll say gentleman. That he would have to use his own batteries and charge me a rebuild fee off 80$. That's there policies.... (seemed more like he wanted to go home instead of working was the vibe I got)Then why not tell me that before I drove all the way there.. if this had worked out I would of taken the rest of my batteries to them for rebuilding. As I use Alot of rechargeable batteries for work... Alot.... they do have alot of different batteries so if you need one right now and don't want to wait for Amazon next day then this may be good choice for that. Maybe I'll try again in couple years

Excellent first time experience. Went in for battery replacement on a cell phone and they completed it in one hour. Ended up returning later in the day to have keys for the car reprogrammed.Your team was professional, courteous and helpful. Also, nice assortment of products. We will return.
