Paid 2,000 dollars for a new a.c. unit and the one they put in the compressor leaks took it back they said they cant find it but that there is a leak. overall spent around 3,000 give or take and my cars still not fixed right and now there's new issues that will cost another 2,600 yes it was more than 1 visit because it wasn't fixed the first time!

My ac works great now! They replaced my fan clutch, & leaking manifold hose assembly. Repairs done right & they prevented my engine from overheating. Moved here in August 2019. So happy to have finally found an excellent repair shop!

Very professional, Great customer, greeted the moment I walk in and was ask if I wanted a coffee or water. I felt welcomed. Very clean and cozy environment. Was able to have all issues resolved on my vehicle. They had a issue with one of my AC lines and wasn't able to take care of it until Monday. They told me that they would take care of the AC line with no extra cost. I look forward to future business with this company, and highly recommend this place to my friends and family

I came here for the first time and I was skeptical just because I am a woman taking my car to a mechanic so I always have to be cautious. Sheila and sophona were very friendly over the phone. Sheila called me later after dropping off my car, and gave me a quote. Auto and Fleet Mechanic was very reasonable with their price. They did all the work and my car is running great. I would recommend them to anyone I know! I will be taking my car to them for any future repairs or oil changes I will need!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Great customer service given to me and my F-250. They were very helpful with dealing with my extended warranty company and completed in replacing my evaporator core in a quick and timely manner. Service was courteous and efficient. I asked for a complete inspection of the car and it was very thorough. I received recommendations and price quotations for each item. I selected the highest priority items and the work was done quickly and at exactly the price quoted. I initially went here based on reviews and have been here a total of three times since. Each time, Bob or Sheila have always been kind and professional. The work performed by the mechanics appears to be solid because I haven't had to return for anything previously repaired.The office is small, but clean and modern. I trust this place to work on my car and plan on continuing to go here in the future. If you're looking for a mechanic, you should give them a shot.Update 11/30/2022: This company continues to provide quality service to me. After bringing both of my cars there several times, I trust them to be honest, to fix any issues I may currently be experiencing, and even catch some issues before they become big ones in the future.

On October 10th, I had an appointment at this shop due to abnormal smoke coming out of the exhaust. After a long day service, I was told that the head gasket was damaged and the charge was 5000 dollars to fix it. It was reduced to 3500 plus after some discussions.The repair would take 2 weeks.Feeling sketchy since 3500 plus was a big number, I took it to another engine repair shop the following week. Head gasket was NOT a problem. It was about something else, which cost about 300 bucks to fix. I kept asking this new shop to focus on the head gasket, and I was told repeatedly that it was ok.Feeling unsure, I took it to another mechanic. After a diagnosis, I was told it had nothing related to the Head Gasket, which was fine.As a customer, after reading this review, you make a judgement for yourself if you want your car to be serviced here.As for myself, this is my first, also the last.Auto and fleet mechanic shop, feel free to reach out to me to verify this review.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Customer service is dull. Husband and I brought in our car to get a reverse cable lockout replacement was quoted over $600. The part is cheap and it's about 20 minutes of work so I don't know where that number came from. I don't know if there's certain days you have to go in to get personality and other days you go in to get robbed if that's the case I definitely went in on the wrong day but I'm not going to go back to find out. where I ended up going it definitely didn't cost me $600 and I didn't feel like I was bothering them.

My husband has taken our 2 vehicles (a truck and a van) in to this auto repair place (Auto & Fleet Mechanic) in the last couple of months for various repairs needed and he has been very satisfied with their work. They are also honest. After a big repair had been done on my van I was driving it and it was rattling as I was driving so I looked inside to make sure there wasn t something rolling around inside the van, and I made sure the doors were secure, and everything looked ok, so I told my husband and he drove it and he also felt the rattling so, he called the man who had done the repairs and was told to bring it in the next day, and we did. It was a very quick fix (and they said they were at fault they had not tightened some bolts all the way tight, inside the engine somewhere, causing the rattling sound). When my husband told me that, I was surprised they were so honest I think most places would not have claimed ownership of a mistake. I appreciated their honesty, and that they fixed the problem, And there was no charge. These are the people I want fixing our vehicles. Also the check-in people are very kind and caring wanting to get your job done on time. We are very happy with this company and will use them for future repairs.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Wheel alignment

This place is definitely a small business treatment with a twist of a corporate feel. The employee Amanda spoke so well of her job that I decided to leave 7 years of service with a dealership to bring my business here . I don't expect perfection and I admire when something dont go as planned it is taken care of (all with balance. I'm happy to support a family owned business. Thank you for your service, cleanliness, professionalism and your quality.

These folks are great! Personable, responsive, thorough and most importantly HONEST! We have been looking for a new place since our former mechanic retired and got hosed by two other shops before we came upon Auto & Fleet. We have found a new home for our vehicles. Highly recommend...you won't be disappointed.

One used vehicle inspection for a vehicle I purchased from a car dealership AND a used vehicle inspection for the sale of one of my vehicles....this place has been solid so far!!!!! Offered a VERY REASONABLE quote for maintenance work needed on the vehicle, but buyer purchased "as is" so no repairs were made with this business. However, this is going to be MY mechanic from now on unless something happens to sour the relationship. This place is so different from other mechanic operations...so much more professional.....so much more friendly...so much more clean. This place is simply a cut above the rest!!!!

My experience with auto & fleet mechanic was great!! It started the moment I walked in, Ashley was the first person to greet us very warm making us feel very welcome. I felt this was a very honest shop I was not over charged, not told untruths , didn't have the pleasure of meeting the mechanic that was the only missing experience 5 Big Stars.

Took my truck here after a hit and run accident disabled my entire steering. So glad I picked this place, they have excellent customer service, super friendly and kept me informed through the entire process. They were very thurough with finding everything damaged from the accident and my truck steers like it is brand new now. Can't say enough about this place, will definitely be back.

As always they did another great job with my car. Alternator & Battery problems but they keep fixing all the problems that keep arising in a professional manner. I might have purchased a lemon but they've been able to keep me going so far. They're truly a blessing found.

My wife and I are from Idaho and were recently visiting family in Modesto, CA. I thought we had a leak of some kind and on the recommendation of a friend, went to Auto & Fleet Mechanic to have it checked out. A thorough check confirmed there were no leaks, but that the surging we were experiencing when stopping was due to warped rear rotors, so the rotors and brake pads had to be replaced. Owners Bob & Judy were so very gracious and kind in working us into an already booked schedule and getting us back on the road. Words alone cannot express how well we were treat and what great thoughts we have of all the folks at Auto & Fleet Mechanic.

I brought my 2018 Hyundai Accent in for an oil change and was very happy with the level of service that I received. The whole staff was knowledgeable and they answered my questions without trying to up-sell me. I look forward to bringing my car here to be serviced in the future.

I'm very impressed with the quality of service from Auto & Fleet Mechanic. Bob & Mike bent over backwards to accommodate my truck repairs. My head gasket originally needed replaced and so I took it to Auto & Fleet to fix it. On my way home from picking my truck up the "check engine" light popped back on. So, I took it back into Auto & Fleet and they split the diagnostic fee and then promptly fixed the EGR Solinoid & Idle Air Control Valve. After picking my truck up the second time, the check engine light popped back on. So, Bob drove clear across town to pickup my truck and then fixed it for free and drove it back across town for me.Auto & Fleet was very professional and gave accurate timelines and accurate price quotes. I'm very impressed with the quality of customer service even though they had to take a look at my truck three times to completely fix the problem.I highly recommend Auto & Fleet to anyone.

My first experience there, the moment I called and explained the problem I had with my Mustang they knew immediately what the problem was where I called other mechanics and explained the issue and they had no idea, long story short I am very thankful I found them by luck, very polite, caring and much more, I can't thank them enough for their services

Over priced . Bad attitudes . Had the work done for half of the price with much better customer service at Car Pretty on McHenry when fleet quoted me 800 to fix a simple power steering pump . Laughable .
