Today I spent 6 hours (8:30 am - 2:30 pm) trying to purchase a vehicle through the Internet Sales Manager, Michael Flores, offering a full price cash offer on the vehicle selected. It took 3 hours to get through the approval process (being that I was paying cash, I'm not sure why) but after 3 hours, Michael Flores called me to apologize and tell me that someone else bought the vehicle.Clearly the Sales Manager, Jeff Hilton decided that a local buyer would serve his interests better.These tactics are just wrong and anyone wishing to purchase from this dealership must be present and must not trust or believe anyone they are dealing with.Since the review was posted, I tried to call the number in the response from the owner twice and it did not go through.Fortunately, I have since found another convertible similar to the vehicle I had hoped to purchase at Mission Viejo Lexus and the team at Carlsbad Lexus went above and beyond to finalize the purchase and I am very happy with my new "used" vehicle.

Just purchased a RX350 from South County Lexus. Had an awesome experience at South County Lexus as a first time buyer. Johnnie Garcia and the team made the late afternoon 4 hour trip from the Central Valley well worth while. They were super helpful throughout the entire process, provided great hospitality, and were willing to work late hours to close this out the same day. Extremely satisfied with my experience. Definitely recommend this dealership!

I am trying to purchase a vehicle from out of state and I get the feeling the Internet Director doesn't want to deal with it. I got super fast response when I inquired about the vehicle with a quick price quote. I stated that I was out of state in Tennessee and I would pay the sales tax when I registered for tags locally, but I needed help with a recommended shipper and also asked for pictures since none were on the website. I never got a response for one day, so I emailed on day two and he did respond with a question asking for my address, but we are now 6 hours later and crickets again. I have called 3 different shippers and received quotes within 5 minutes, but it's taking this dude all day. So I guess I just have to forget it and move on to the next vehicle that I am interested in.

Very confusing .. I reached out to the dealership for a ES 350 to receive an OTD price, and I received an email from Andrew Wagner with an increased base price, 4k more than what they were advertising on their own website.. very alarming and left a sour taste from the get go. Not a nice experience.

This review is long overdue. It's a bit delayed because of, you know, life. I had long been researching for a new car. I looked at pretty much every make out there: bmw, Mercedes, Infiniti, acura, Toyota, Honda, hyundai, kia, etc. Competition was steep, as many cars were great. Had been a long time bmw driver but finally made the jump and purchased my first lexus RX. Needless to say...this car is amazing. I'm so happy with it. I don't think I'll ever get bored driving it. I had visited several dealerships, including SC lexus. I originally worked with Arturo Ransom (Art) who showed me several cars on several different days. Despite me coming back and forth and changing my mind between RX and NX, he never once made me feel like I wasted his time. He even came in on his off day to help me out. The team at SC lexus, especially Arturo Ransom, Michael Flores, Jim Pavone, and even Blake (?) who helped drill the license plates, were all great. I truly appreciate their patience and hope that they continue to do amazing sales in the community.

The worst car buying experience that cost me over $1.7k due to incompetence/negligence. I have been a South County Lexus customer since 2015, but my last experience there recently was about as bad as it can be. I found the vehicle I wanted to purchase online and decided to stop by after work with my family to look at it in person. I was already pre-approved by the bank for the loan so I thought it would be a quick and easy process. It was anything but.It took me about 15 minutes to decide that I want to proceed with the purchase. Matt the sales person then instructed me to fill out a credit app. I advised him that we were already pre-approved and I had a pre-approval code for them from the bank. He said that it didn't matter, they would still have to process the application on there end. So we did as we were told and waited. After an hour Of waiting I asked how much longer it would take as my 1 and 4 year old daughters were getting fussy. They said it would be about another 15 minutes. I asked my wife to take the kids home and I will meet up with them later. Matt told me that she need to stick around to sign the loan documents.We waited and waited. 15 minutes turned into over an hour. The dealership was already closed and we're we're still waiting. The kids were hungry and falling asleep. Finally Matt said they Loan manager was ready to see us, and he spoke with him and was able to get us the pre-approved low interest rate. We went to Scott's office to sign the paperwork. This is a warning to all, DO NOT SIGN DOCUMENTS ON THERE SMALL TABLET. Demand that you get the paperwork so that you can review everything. Scott quickly went over the many forms that we needed to sign, summarizing what the documents stated and then scrolling to the bottom for us to sign. I asked him if the loan was going to be submitted at my pre-approved rate. He said that they submit it at the rate that they have and then it will be adjusted by the bank to the pre-approved loan. Once we were done signing he said that we would get an email copy of the documents shortly.We finally made it home at 10:30 pm. Put the kids to sleep and I decided to check my email to see if I received the documents. I did not have any emails, so I figured I would receive it the next day when they opened. I checked then next day and still did not have a copy. Later that afternoon I sent an email to South County Lexus to follow up on my documents, I did not receive a response until the following day. It took me 3 days to finally receive a copy of my paperwork.A couple of days later I receive a confirmation from the bank that the loan has been processed, but I noticed it was at a much higher rate. Confused, I decided to call the bank to figure out why the rate was higher. They had told me that the pre-approval was not submitted by the dealership and I needed to find out why. I called Matt our sales associate who directed me back to Scott the loan manager. When I spoke to Scott about the issue he seemed confused and informed me that if I provided a Pre-approval it should have been submitted. He said he would check on all of the paperwork that I provided. He called back shortly and said that he did find the pre-approval but doesn't know why it wasn't submitted. He apologized and said he will assist me any way he can, but this needs to be sorted out with the bank. He has no control over it because it is out of there hands at this point. He offered to send me a Lexus hat and shirt for the trouble. Thanks Scott, that's a nice gesture for a $1,700+ mistake.Long story short the bank was not able to get me the pre-approved rate because the loan documents were not submitted properly. Had I received a copy of my paperwork earlier the mistake could have been caught and reversed. A word of advise, DO NOT LEAVE THE DEALERSHIP WITHOUT A COPY OF YOUR PAPERWORK. The staff seemed very friendly at the time of purchase, but looking back they seem to be either incompetent or just plain negligent. In any case they were non-responsive and unhelpful when I needed help after the purchase.

Being in the auto industry, I know it's always a crapshoot who you end up working with when buying a car. Sometimes you get somebody who doesn't care and doesn't want to be there and other times you get somebody who is passionate, honest, and a solid communicator. My family and I were fortunate to have the latter experience with Hakan. Hakan was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. He was transparent, honest, and kept in communication throughout the whole process. After taking delivery, we had a couple of service items that needed attention and Kyle stepped in without a beat. From start to finish, Hakan and Kyle were fantastic. We live closer to two other Lexus dealers but will continue to use South County Lexus because of the experience we had. Thank you, gentlemen!

Did not return calls to resolve an issue regarding my lease. Cost me $1200+. The sales manager, Gina, ghosted me and wouldn t return my calls after promising to resolve the issue. I would never buy or lease a car from them again (after 3 leases).

They Must Have More Customers Than They Need!I went in today to look at a 350NXh. I made the mistake of mentioning to the salesman that I was comparing it to the Toyota Venza (which is basically the same car). He immediately had a smug attitude and said in a condescending tone to go with the Venza if I wanted to save money. A good salesman would have talked about the differences and why the NX350 was worth a few thousands bucks more. When it came to a test drive, he said I would have to give him my driver's license and phone number. I declined to hand over my phone number and said I didn't want any calls. He said curtly, "Then no test drive." A good salesman would have said something like, "I understand, sir, but our management really requires this..." If he had shown just a little consideration, I would have relented. Instead, I left the lot at that point feeling demeaned and, frankly, insulted by his attitude. If I do decide to get a Lexus it won't be with South County.

I am experiencing right now a horrible service from South Lexus. I am from Chicago and bought a car a week ago, signed all of the paperwork, payed full amount of $37000! And now nobody is responding my phone calls, when I am calling to Rami (sales) he is ignoring, front desk is collecting my phone calls every single time with the same message, promising me to find someone to help me. And of course, nobody EVER called me back with the solution. Hakan and their general manager Shawn are helpless. I just need to pick up my car from this dealership and there is no single professional there to get this done! So unprofessional.

Bought a car from this dealership back in 2021 and they keep calling my cellphone several times a day. I block the number and they call me from a different number.If you ever buy a car from this dealerships don t let them download Lexus app in your cellphone. Once you download the app this people keep tracking your location, mileage , service history and everything. I asked them to remove tracking several times but no help.

This dealership has significantly declined in the last few years. Buying process is gross, full of games and manipulation. Finalized a lease buyout on 8/15/23 and have yet to receive my registration. Every time I call I get the run around. No one has a direct answer. After being pulled over for their negligence, I have reached my breaking point.

I know you guys have at least years and I have first Experience with Matt Hasso, he is the greatest Menedger that I a ever met. I asked them to help me to bay another car from you. He was Day off but he recommended another Menedger his name is Enzo. He explained to me everything we did a test drive explain me how use all details about it. Kamran sounds so friendly when I talked to him on the phone initially but it s not the case at all when we talk in person. He cut me off every time I try to talk by sticking up his finger and say no let me finish I wonder how this method worked for him in the past because this is not only very rude, but inefficient. He kept on talking about things I already know by not letting me tell him what information I want to know more.

When i visited this dealership last, a few days ago, i was in a jam..... I had various appointments and a broken down car. If the issue was resolved ASAP, my day would be shipwrecked.The service team bent over backwards to fix my car and was able to resolve all problems in the unreasonably short time that i gave them. Kudos to Scott and the service team!The service here is always good, i can more than sense they put in much effort and care each time i visit. This last time they went above and beyond.It's refreshing to get such good customer service and be around people who really want to help. Thank you South County Lexus!

First and foremost, I had an amazing experience here! My mother also purchased a vehicle here and highly recommend them.Jason Thomas, in the finance department, was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond with making the entire process so easy. He was able to answer all of our questions with finance and car details. I can t express enough how much my husband and I enjoyed our experience here. Jason should defiantly have a promotion to management. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new vehicle to go here.I also worked with Zoe Shetly, with guest management. She made the experience here so pleasant. Her approach was very uplifting! She was the exact person I could relate and work with thru the whole process. Great experience, do yourself a favor and ask for Soren Darougar!! Talk about a car, I am a proud owner of a Lexus now, but first off let s talk about who helps you; we all know the experience of buying a car can be a little overwhelming to say the least, but Soren wow, . high performance; delivers honesty, integrity no high pressure sales consultant!! I highly recommend him!!I highly recommend South County Lexus everyone from the managing team, sales manager, It was a all-around amazing experience!! South County Lexus rocks! They had exactly what we wanted on the lot with all the package options. No pushy sales guy, just informative & showing us what WE wanted to see. Never thought getting a car could be so quick. No haggle, great deal, friendly, likable staff. We were going to go to 3 other Lexus dealerships, but South County Lexus just has the inventory, great pricing & great service.I was impressed that before we left a staff member dedicated to knowing all of the features of the car, walked us through what every button, system, lever & feature of the GX Sport. He helped setup the navigation, the stereo settings, the seat & mirror settings & made sure we knew how every little thing on the vehicle worked. (They'll even come to your house to setup your garage door opener!) Talk about the royal treatment! They even put a bow on it for my wife.Thanks South County Lexus (Thanks Barrett, David, Hans & Amadeus?)

I would like to say, I've had best internet purchase experience ever. I'm still at disbelief that dealership can make it so easy. Definitely A++ in my book.I've texted internet department, regarding Lexus GS, with in minutes, I get a response. I've asked dealership to call me regarding this car. Maz Tousi, called back and gave me all information, send me an email to confirm our conversation. That same evening, deal was completed. Next few days, notary came to my house, signed all paperwork and that was it! (Mathew thanks for making it super easy)Once again, extremely easy and smooth transaction. Best thing was, Maz said, this is the price for a car and $85 for paperwork fee. There was no surprises, no extra fees, no extra charges. Amazing!!!
