Have taken all of my cars here for the past 3 years. Always quick and he takes good care of my cars. When taking the lower cars here, he s is always quick to guide me on how to pull them in and back them out as to not scratch anything.Honest, hard work. Nothing but respect here. Always a good experience!

Smog Simple has got to be one of the best and friendliest smog places to get your smog checks done. They are on time, responsive, quick, and very efficient. Parking can be a little hard, but they're worth the wait. As long as they're still around, I'll be bringing all of my cars here for smog tests.

Quick service and fair pricing. It is a test only Smog Center locates right off the Avery exit off the 5 freeway. It is right between the Volvo and Acura car dealerships, the shop is in the back of a small strip mall of various businesses, one of which is a great little dive bar. I paid $50 for a smog check on a older full-size SUV which was very similar in price to other smog stations in the south Orange County area

I enjoyed a very swift and pleasant experience at Smog Simple AND paid a fair price, to boot, but that is not why I leaving this review. I drive a lowered car on static suspension, so naturally this setup has its caveats. Finding a smog shop that can accommodate a low car is one of those disadvantages.This year I had been around to a few places (including one place I had been to in the past and had an incident at down to my fault with the setup, but I am sure the kind old guy felt bad for ripping my bumper off haha), and none thought they could take it, be it from getting over a part of the dyno, up a ramp, for a visual inspection... whatever the fail point would have been. Understandable, but I really couldn't be arsed to reinstall my risers and lift it up, despite that I do all the work on it myself. Between that and the upgraded LTW/GT splitter, there is not much clearance to work with.I was getting conflicting recommendations from other shops over whether it would take a raised dyno or a ground dyno. However, I finally got a recommendation as to a place that could deal with low cars, and Smog Simple was that place. I first talked to the man to check if he could indeed accommodate a lowered car, and he was rather certain and said to bring it around (the shop is on the back side of the building it is located in).Walking in, I noticed the dyno lacked a tall "lip" that may cause issues that others had. Surely enough, it made it on with no problems. Now, I am lowered several inches, not slammed to the ground, so it may not work for all cases, but as far as I am aware this is the best spot to take it in South Orange County!A lot to say for such a quick experience, but I am enthused enough after a quick experience! I will definitely be back.

No nonsense, quick in, quick out. Been here for about 4 smog checks over the years. Owner (sorry, I should know his name by now) is always very polite and professional. I like supporting a business, like Smog Simple, that's consistent and focused on doing good work at a fair price.

I have a car addiction and go through cars more often than I should. As a result I find myself needing smog inspections more I would like. I have gotten my last 5 inspections done and have been very happy with the service.Very fast and efficient. It doesn t mean he cuts corners. He will still get out the mirror and check your catalytic converters, but he doesn t dilly dally. Your inspection gets uploaded to the DMV quickly.Prices are displayed on the wall and are very competitive without needing a coupon.

The service was excellent, the prices are fair and the technician was thorough. The only reason I am giving Smog Simple a four star rating is because of the parking situation. There are other businesses within the same complex which made it difficult getting in and out of the parking lot. Would I still recommend Smog Simple? Absolutely!

Very professional service! Went there 2 weeks ago with my car and brought my work truck there this Saturday. In and out in about 15 min. No line, no wait, no BS. Great guy running this business and very professional! Definitely will be coming back!

Smog Simple was just great as was the owner, unfortunately I missed his name. I showed up just as he was finishing with his last customer. But he said it was ok to come in . He was pleasant,honest, and very fair with the price . I will definitely refer him to my friends and see him next time I need a smog. I highly recommend Smog Simple.

A smog test is a smog test... But I like to come here because the price is great and the owner works hard, he is always there and he is as quick as a smog test can be. Most of all, I like to support independently owned businesses.He doesn't do appointments, it's first come first serve, but I will happily wait and give him my business.

I visited at around 1 in the afternoon to Smog Simple and was helped immediately, no wait. Just drive around to the back where the garage is. Since the garage is open, there is plenty of fresh air and no risk of Covid. Also, the owner / smog checker is very careful to not enter the car due to Covid precautions, which is pretty amazing. He's really kind and thoughtful- nice to experience in the rush of the day. Twenty minutes later and I was on the road again.

Honest and fair prices, very quick highly recommend! The other smog place nearby tried to hustle me for $40 extra dollars to calibrate the machine definitely go here instead of that other guy!

My car failed the smog test so I had to come back for retesting. But the retest fee was very reasonable compared to other shops that do not offer a discounted fee for retesting. So I think the service was excellent overall.

Been using Smog Simple for years and I've recommended this station to all my friends and family.
