Owning a BMW can be stressful but this shop makes me confident I'll be taken care of. Came back to write this review because I am so thankful. Extremely knowledgeable and nice group of guys. Had misfires for a month and they were able to trace it back to it being contaminated fuel. Other shops started replacing things and never fixed the issue. This means this place was not only knowledgeable with the situation but also honest with it to not just go ahead and replace things before proper diagnosis. Very very happy I've found a new place to take Bella - can't wait to be back (but hopefully never haha)

When I moved to Irvine a few months ago, I ve been looking for a local bmw specialist. I took my car here for a quick check since I saw that it s got very good ratings. It didn t disappoint! Alfredo was very professional, friendly, and honest. Then I took my 6 series here for an oil change with an appointment. It was easy and fast. The price was very reasonable.Came in again for a noise from the rear wheels Alfredo quickly determined the issue and got it fixed in no time!If you are in the area and need to take care of your bmw, this is the place!

I cannot fully describe how great Freddy and his team at Orange County Motor Werks are. I was put through the wringer over a major fuel system repair by both Crevier and Irvine BMW (and BMW NA). Freddy helped me throughout the entire journey. After those places quoted me almost $20K for repairs, Freddy took care of my car s needs for a fraction of the cost. Irvine and Crevier couldn t resolve the problem in a combined two and a half months that took Freddy s shop two weeks. I won t take my BMW anywhere but here for maintenance moving forward. I highly recommend you do the same.

Lifelong owner of multiple BMW. Love the cars but as we know maintenance is important and expensive. Previously took my 2017 x4 to BMW dealer /service in Irvine. After a few years and mediocre service at high price I found OC MOTORWORKS. Fabulous informed owner who is always behind the counter. Good techs and reasonable prices. Been coming here a few years now and very happy. I feel I m getting my money worth with honest people who don t try to upsell unneeded work. Down side is very busy (but always faster than Irvine) and no car wash. It is worth the effort to come here.

One of the most efficient and trusted mechanics I've ever used. They have never let us down with our BMWs. Prices are very reasonable and the owner is great. Highly recommend 10/10.

Freddy is the man, only person I would trust with my BMW. You want an honest, friendly mechanic who knows what he is doing rather than guessing, make sure you come and see Freddy.

Thank you OC Motor Werks for the great service and quick, honest work. They were very polite and straight forward. He did not push me for recommended repairs I will be needing in the near future(which I ll be back for). I could not be happier with them. We had a transmission oil cooler leak that was leaking coolant into the transmission. The car drove horribly and the transmission was ruined. The team installed another transmission in no time. They did an amazing job and we got our car back sitting nicely again in our driveway.

I was referred to Fredy s shop by a friend and am very impressed. Fredy is an old school honest mechanic that knows his stuff. He is really focused on making the customer feel good about the decision to part with lots of $$$. I had a major tuneup on my M5 and was given a BMW loaner car for my use on the house as part of the service. Give Fredy a try you won t be disappointed!

Tremendous shop. Competent and knowledgeable about BMW platforms (mine is an F87). Respectful of time. Reliable. Scheduled and orderly. They recently did a few things for me, including spark plugs, filters, oil change, and short shifter reinstall. I had no idea that a different shop had previously installed an aftermarket short shift kit incorrectly on my car. OC Motor Werks reinstalled the shift kit and the minor complaints I had with the shifter were resolved. I though the problems were due to the part, but the shifter simply needed to be installed by more professional hands. These guys are excellent. I highly recommend them!

We are so thankful to have found such an honest mechanic shop to work on our BMW. I think it's very rare to be both happy with the service and the price for vehicle maintenance, especially when it comes to repairs or troubleshooting an unknown issue. Freddy was responsive, understanding, knowledgeable, and overall just a pleasure to deal with. We won't take our BMW anywhere else from now on. Thanks OC Motor Werks!

Freddy is the most knowledgeable and trust worthy mechanic . Took my bmw to several other shops 1 said it was a blown motor another said it was electrical issue etc . After Freddy looked at it he told me exactly what the issue was and showed me pictures for prove . After I got my car back it felt like new again and all issues went away. No one else will touch mine and my families bmws other then OC motor werks. Awesome mechanics .

Fantastic customer service, great prices, and great place to do your BMW service repair here. I took my car here for brake service, check engine light (smog), and cabin air filter so far. I had gone to many BMW repair shops before I found this place.Freddy (the business owner) is a real BMW expert that you can totally trust. He has been taking care of my car for two years now. Freddy has worked on my cars a few times and I can say without hesitation he is the best BMW mechanic I have ever used. He has always performed the work at a very high level and come in at or below the estimate given. As of this date 6/15/2021 all of his reviews are 5 stars except 2 and both of those are a case of mistaken identity and should be removed.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

The service I get here is way better than what I get at the dealership. Freddie is amazingly helpful and provides extra care without expecting to get paid. I strongly recommend this shop based on my experience for the past 7 years.This place does not have the amenities that you get at the dealership. It has a small waiting area and a restroom but, you get better service in return. And at an absolutely reasonable price.Five stars to Orange County Motor Werks!

Freddy is the best. He is honest and very experienced. I have the utmost trust in him to take care of my BMWs. He also has a great family that I met outside the shop randomly. I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed.

I worked with Freddy for 2 months prior to him doing any work. He help me in selection of motor and parts needed to swap out my motor. When motor came he swap it for the price and time it would take. He also did extra little things like change wiper blades and buff out my plastic trim no extra charge. My opinion is Freddy is the best mechanic in OC . Trust me I been to most of them. I have owned BMW for over 20 years. He is honest and sincere.

I ran into Freddy, the shop owner/mechanic, by accident recently when I meant to bring my BMW to another shop for a check and repair. Upon my inquiry of the other shop, Freddie politely show me the way. As I did not have an appointment and his shop is focused on BMW, so I told him that I would be glad with his service. His insistence for me to go to the other shop eventually went away with my reassurance that I did not have an appointment. He then did a quick free diagnosis, and let me know the issue and the cost for repair. I brought the car back yesterday and the car's problem is gone. Freddie is honest and good!

In year 2017 I took my car for the smoke test and my attention was captured by the next-door shop OCM sign on it. I walked in and met with a very friendly BMW Certified mechanic by name Freddy.I asked him if he can look at my BMW 525 i car and do some diagnostics. He said "Sure".What really impressed me that he doesn't charge people for simple diagnostic, but any BMW dealership I went to always charged the minimum $130 just for the simple test run.Since then I can't even think to go to any BMW service places.I only trust Freddy!His professionalism, honesty and willingness to help people are most important qualities that makes him as the greatest asset to our community.His dedication and love to his profession makes him as the most fantastic car mechanic I ever met!

Freddy is the BEST! I actually found this place by accident and I'm glad I did! Had trouble with my 335i bluetooth not working and happened upon the shop. Freddy did a diagnosis to confirm the problem and did thorough system check to try and reset the system.....all at no charge and without an appointment. He did my oil change (appointment scheduled) and kept me informed about some minor repairs that may be necessary at my next service.When I was having misfires, I stopped in to have some of the cylinders replaced...again, stopped by then less than 2 months later had the same issue. Freddy fixed the problem and even replaced those cylinders to ensure all the cylinders were brand new! My car runs like a champ! Thanks again.....I'll be back for my 100k check up!

Freddy knows BMW inside and out. Don t go to a BMW dealer unless you like being robbed. They are so honest here, I don t trust anyone else. They are fast , very reasonable and Excellent service.

BMW X1 Battery replacement and Valve Cover Assembly replacement on Oct2022. Same day service. Reasonable price compared to SantaAna Crevier service dept . All staffs are very polite and attentive.
