I had my car towed to this auto shop because I was referred by a AAA Club technician. Throughout the day, they kept in constant communication about my car s repair needs. They were able to fix everything it needed that same day. Also received a AAA discount. Manager, John reached out to me next day to follow up on how my car was running. I would recommend this auto shop. Friendly and fast service. Thank you!

Laguna Auto did my Smog Check and the service was awesome. They were super fast and I relaxed on the couch in their waiting room. They also did me a favor and filled my tires for me. The answer was yes before I even finished explaining The staff is super friendly. It s great to see the same faces. Consistent service and feels like ur part of their family!Thank you everyone!

Could not get my truck started for the life of me tried everything new battery new starter new alternator. Yada yada yada. Took it to John within minutes he figured out I needed a ECM.Could not be happier truck runs great now I can go to work. Thank you to John and all the staff.

I had two very positive experiences with your shop. The first was when I made an online apt only to learn that it was a glitch. Your front desk team made accommodations to service my car even though I had no apt. The second was when I brought my son s car in for maintenance even though it was not due. Megan(?) not only checked the car tire pressure but also checked the oil level at no charge. I never felt sold to and received the utmost level of customer service. Kudos to your front desk team!

Laguna Viejo Auto replaced the sensors in my Lexus and I was able to wait for my car.I was very pleased with their service!The girls in the front were very nice and efficient!

Well .. I have a new er 2023 Jaguar fpace svr .. very high performance factory car. I came in sith very high performence rotors and brake pads . And was greeted by this snooty woman as opposed to curious about new customer. Who says . Jaguars ugh

I was very pleased with how John went the extra mile by showing me the work done while my car was up on the lift. I also appreciated his honesty by not unnecessarily replacing parts that were recommended replacing by a different shop. Megan and Gayle were super friendly and kept me in the loop while my car was worked on. I will definitely return for any future service.

This was maybe the best experience my husband and I have ever had with an auto shop. We are not from the area. We were driving through town on our way back up north from San Diego and our car broke down on the freeway. Aaa towed us to this shop. It was a Friday afternoon and we had a toddler who was not feeling well. The ladies in the office set us up so that my daughter could watch TV and was comfortable, even offering a popsicle. When it became clear that our car wouldn't be able to be fixed before 5, Gayle in the office was so helpful in ensuring that we would be able to get home. One of the ladies in the office offered to give us a ride to the train station but luckily Gayle was able to get enterprise to come pick us up even though enterprise was about to close. The next week, John called us to give us the bad news about our car which was that it required a lot of work. We decided to have the car towed up north to where we live and when the tow truck driver came, Gayle and John coordinated with the tow truck driver to get everything ready for our car to be towed. Oh and did I mention that they didn't charge us for the initial repairs that John did before we realized the full extent of the problem? Other shops would have charged for that. We only paid for the diagnostic. This shop is fantastic and if we lived in the area, this would be the only place we would take our cars to. We are business owners ourselves and appreciate the personal touches to help us out in a stressful situation. Five stars.

Very friendly front staff, the owner(also mechanic) is very knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with, so I couldn't be happier. I brought in my SUV for an alignment and to find a strange rattling noise. Both solved at a decent price. Any further work is needed with my vehicles, I'm going here again.

Laguna Auto was fantastic! My car needed a new alternator unfortunately last week. I had my car towed to them and as soon as they received it they communicated with me immediately via text and constantly communicated with me on the work being done and when it was completed. The quote they gave me over the phone was exactly what they charged me which was the cheapest quote I had received! they did it quickly and again the communication was Excellent!! If you need a car repair I would suggest not even calling any other place just go here ! excellent service all around !!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Got quoted $450 at another shop for a CV front left axle replacement on my Mazda that desperately needed to be swapped. Laguna Viejo Auto did it for $505 but it also included full inspection and alignment which would have added $160 to the bill. Got a list of other parts that needed replacing that I can handle on my own. Good value, punctual and thorough.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I needed to have a Garmin Dashcam re-installed on my new vehicle. They had removed it from the old car and did an excellent job, so I decided to have them install it in the new one.The job was done well, done fast and at a reasonable price.Having been there twice and pleased both times, I wholeheartedly recommend anyone needing aftermarket addons to their vehicle give Laguna Viejo Auto Sound a try. You won't be disappointed.

I had my front differential fluid change on my 2019 RAV4 AWD (maintenance schedule item) and was very satisfied with the work and estimated time of completion. This was my 2nd visit and will continue to bring my RAV in for future maintenance items, and repairs vs. the Toyota Dealer (where I experienced inconsistency with technician inspection comments). As I mentioned, this was my 2nd visit at Laguna Viejo Auto, and I am very satisfied with John Esses and team. I plan on taking my RAV again for fluid change on the rear differential and transfer case.

I have been entrusting both my late model cars for at about 15 years. Owners Gail and John are wonderful. Always pleasant when I call for service. I'm a single mom raising a special needs needs daughter and I hate dealing with car issues. I am thankful that I have a place that I am confident that my car will be serviced with car and honesty.Gail gave me a ride home when my van needed to stay for an oil leak repair. I brought my husbands car in because it was due for an oil and transmission oil change while he was on his way back from deployment. I brought his car in around 9am, said I would like to try to have it back by the end of the day if possible, and they called me a couple hours later saying it was all done! They did a great job and my husband and I are both extremely happy with the quality of work they did. My parents also use Laguna Viejo Auto for all their car servicing needs. (My dad is a heavy machinery mechanic and does most of the car work himself, so when he finds a place it has to be really good.) Highly recommend!!Services: Transmission, Oil change

My smart car just quit on me without warning and I was prepared for the worst. Fortunately, it broke down a half mile from Laguna Viejo Auto Repair! These folks are very professional. John explained what my car needed. He showed me a serious engine leak and what he will do to fix it. Front and back brakes were replaced. John told me that the bad vibration on the steering wheel would disappear after the brake job and he was right. What a pleasure to drive my car with the brakes/rotors replaced!Megan, the service advisor is the first person you ll see. She is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I found John to be honest and very good at his job. I had a great experience with you all again; my second time and it won't be my last. I was hoping to get financial assistance through the BAR program for the additional repairs my vehicle needs; you all did too good of a job it passed the smog check so now I can't apply lol. Gail and I think Michelle? were both very accommodating as I was not required to be there in person; I had my car dropped off by AAA and returned to me by them as well. I am on disability and it's difficult for me to get around so this was a huge help and they made it even more convenient by taking payment over the phone. Thank you to both ladies for keeping me up to date with everything that was happening via text and helping me with AAA. I was really happy to find this place, and initially thought they were great. Unfortunately, the most recent service experience broke my trust. I won't ever go back and recommend you find another shop.Specifics:I've owned the car for 10 years. I took it in a few weeks ago because there was a clunking noise coming from the front right wheel area. They fixed the clunking and said I needed do a repair to the tie rod **so that the alignment could be done**. I decided not to do the repair, because the alignment being off wasn't severe.Just days after the repair, the steering wheel locked up because the tie rod detached. John claimed that it wasn't his fault. That it was 100% chance that the tie rod came loose a few days after he worked on the tie rod. He wanted me to believe that, after 10 years....it just 'happened' to break after they were working on it.Coincidence??I wasn't looking for a full refund or anything. Just some acknowledgement that what they did had some impact. That he decided to claim, against all logic, that his work and NOTHING to do with it broke my trust.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

I mistakenly dropped my car off a week before the actual appointment. They were so kind and accommodating, squeezing me in on a Friday afternoon. They always do a good, thorough job and I completely trust their recommendations. They are always in communication about what is going on with your vehicle and when it should be done. They were extremely helpful and they were able to get my car serviced in no time. They were even honest with me and told me to come back on Monday for a Honda specialist mechanic to take a look at my vehicle, instead of just saying yeah somethings wrong we got to fix it right now.I will say it was the fastest , easiest and most convenient car experience I have ever had! Also getting a discount because I m a AAA member. So worth it. I completely recommend Laguna Viejo Auto Service!!
