The horrific customer experience at this Walmart Auto Center has conditioned me to limit my interactions ONLY for pickup! 3 Days ago I stopped to pick up an online order. The Clerk told me to go get a Cart from the Front of the store, only to be told that I did not need it. She offered to have the 4 tires to be brought to my car! And that's when Walmart Auto Care center staff proved why they should be avoided at all cost!!The person who had brought the tires to my car simply tossed them on the ground as opposed to putting them on the open trunk of my car (see photos)! He tossed them and walked back without saying a word back when I said "Thank you"!Walmart proves once again why Amazon is eating their lunch and why this Auto Center should be avoided!

Bad experience; I repeated the same order 4 times because my appointment was canceled 3 times. Finally I got my appointment but they mounted the tire on the wrong side (inside out). Use extra care when you deal with the auto center..

I made 3 trips here to have my tires changed. My appointments were not honored. No matter how many times I called, nobody picked up the phone. Effectively, they refused to do anything useful!Don't waste your time here like I did!!

Had a great experience installing a new battery today. Came around 3 pm when they had a lull and was done in 30 min total. Everyone was very courteous, professional and helpful.Details:I wanted to install a cheaper version with 600 CCA for $69, but my car OEM battery was 700 CCA so thwy recommended to install 700. It was $139, but 3 y warranty vs 1 year and O'Reilly's has $139 price for their 550 CCA.I saw some bad reviews and your mileage might vary, but this was my experience and it was quite good! Edit:Would be nice if they answered their phone lol

I don't understand the reason why people give Walmart Auto Care such a low rate. My experience was great. The price is half as much as other oil changes and the crew is professional. The only problem is that the manager is on his phone most of the time but other than that I had a great experience

Parminder, the auto service manager at Milpitas Walmart is very kind, professional and customer oriented. I originally ordered the tires for my car to be installed at the Fremont Walmart. However, they did not have the right jack to lift my EV and advised me to check with Milpitas store. When I called Milpitas Walmart, Parminder took my tire installation work order as a walk in on a busy day between his other appointments. Due to the inconvenience and wastage of time at the Fremont store, I was running late for my dental appointment. I asked Parminder if he can complete the tire installation before my dental appointment. He kindly accepted my request and finished the tire installation quickly. He also helped me cancel the appointment at Fremont store so that I could pay for installation at Milpitas store. Walmart is lucky to have Parminder as their Auto service manager.

Came out here out of curiosity inspired from Reddit and such low google review. MATCH! Waited in line for 1 hr just to be told they don t have enough mechanics so they cant do headlight restoration. Could ve post it on their wall.

Went there first time to replace two of my tires. They broke one of my tire pressure sensor and swapped it with an after market part and didn't tell me about it. Now my tire pressure aren't reading anything. Avoid at all cost

At this time I can't really blame them. The app has informed me my tires are in. However, twice we went and they are not in. The service desk workers did some looking and calling around. The tires should not arrive until Tuesday with a Wednesday pick up. But the app is confirming they are in and ready for pick up. The clerk offered to call me when ready to save me a 3rd trip to the store. I'll give a higher star rating when this is all over and done with. But so far it's not the service department employees fault so I won't bad mouth them. Someone does need to look into app updates and issues.

Horrid customer service. I will give ZERO on a scale of 1 to 10.I made a mistake of ordering tires online. Wasted my time entirely in three different appointments and 4 hours.Ordered tires online, took an appointment, went to store, stood in the line of 7 with no attendant in sight for next 20 minutes. I showed my order and appointment confirmation. He couldn't find it. So I had to take another for 5 days after.I went 5 days after at the appointment time, stood in the line for 40 minutes. This time he couldn't find the tires in the store that were there 5 days before. I came to find that online order was cancelled after 4 days as Walmart policy. So I had to reorder in the store. I came after with another appointment 7 days after.I went 7 days after. Another day, another line, another hour of wait. This time, Auto technician were in shortage. So he asked me to come in the morning 7am.I chose to not go to keep my sanity.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of getting an oil change at the Walmart Auto Center, and I must say it was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that customer satisfaction and professionalism were foreign concepts to the staff.First and foremost, the wait times were utterly unacceptable. I had to endure an excruciatingly long wait, wasting precious hours of my day for a simple oil change. It seemed as if the staff were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than actually attending to the needs of their customers.To make matters worse, the employees displayed a shocking lack of basic knowledge about the products and services they offer. When I inquired about the specific oil my car required, I was met with blank stares and shrugs. How can a supposed "auto center" not even know what type of oil to use for different vehicles? It's beyond comprehension.One of the advertised services included in the package was a vehicle inspection, which they conveniently neglected to perform. It's astonishing how they can boldly claim to provide such a service and then completely disregard it. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for their customers' safety is utterly unforgivable.As if the aforementioned issues weren't enough, the incompetence reached new heights when I noticed that the logo on my wheel cap was missing. It's astounding that they can't even handle a simple task like replacing a wheel cap properly. This kind of negligence only serves to underscore their lack of professionalism and attention to detail.To top it all off, after driving just a few miles, my worst fears were confirmed when I noticed oil leaking from my car. It is clear that the so-called "mechanics" at Walmart Auto Center are not only incapable of performing a basic oil change, but they also lack the competence to ensure that everything is properly tightened and secured.In conclusion, my experience at the Walmart Auto Center was nothing short of a complete disaster. Their abysmal wait times, lack of knowledge about basic car maintenance, failure to perform promised inspections, shoddy workmanship, and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction have left me utterly appalled. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice before subjecting themselves to such an infuriating ordeal. Ordered tires on Walmart's website and scheduled a time for installation. On that date, the status on the website changed to Delayed. I heard nothing from Walmart for 3 days, so I called the store. For more than a dozen attempts over about an hour, the phone would ring, no one would pick up, and then the call would drop after about 3 minutes. I then called the Walmart Distribution Center, who claimed that the tires actually did arrive. However, they also couldn't get through when they called the store to confirm. I had to waste another hour driving to the store and waiting for someone to finally confirm that the tires had arrived. Even though it was their error, the choices they gave me were to wait 2-3 hours more in order to get the tires installed then, or make another appointment for a later date. I did the latter, as the lesser of two annoying options.Service: Tires

Buyers be aware! I wish I can give this store tire center a ZERO star. This is the 1st time we bought tire for Walmart. Although their price is cheaper, their service and coordination are so sloppy. The 1st time we made an appointment for the installation, we wait for almost an hour, but still could not check in since the line was moving so slow. The guy there does not seems to know how to use the computer. We made a 2nd appointment online and also waited for more than 45 minutes to check in, but the guy their told us there was no appointment for us that day, although we have an online appointment confirmation. We then made a 3rd appointment at the store. The 3rd time we were there, we also waited more than 45 minutes to check in. Once they checked us in, they could not find the tires we ordered, despite we have a online notification that our tires have arrived at the store. This is so unacceptable. Walmart always so proud of their logistics and technology to streamline their operations. This experience has us wonder do they really have the processes and system in place to properly serve their customers. Anyway, we ended up cancelled our order since I don t think we will ever get the tires installed at this sloppy store.Service: Tires

Dropped for oil change, I came back 2 hours later and just found nobody was working here. The working area is empty, nobody is shown up in the front desk. There were more than 10 customers waiting in line. What is wrong?

This people too slow, they don t know what they are doing. cuz everyone unprofessional. including the billing counters. And they can only do that pace because all are older people. 1 flat tire, it took 2hr to fix, no one care. I could rather go somewhere to fix in 10 min. But I had insurance for the tires. It s provocative, and I m tired.

I was initially here last week, they charged double the posted price(what should have been $20 was 40) and they didn't bother resetting my TPMS. I came back today so they could do what they should have done the first time, and ended up waiting three and a half hours for a simple TPMS reset, only to them be told that the person who knew how to do it isn't here today and to come back tomorrow.Also, I have tried calling them half a dozen times and the only two times they picked up, they immediately hung up.

I wish I could give zero star. I booked an appointment for tire replacement. The service is extremely slow. The estimated time given to me was 1 hour. After 1.5 hours I found out that the car was still outside and not even inside the garage. I went to the help desk and they said that it was done. When I told them that the car was still outside and none of the tires had been replaced, they told me that the service was yet to be done and asked me to come back after 35 minutes. It still took them more than an hour for returning my car.They wasted 3 hours of mine! What is the point of taking an appointment? Worst service ever! Please do not come here!Service: Tires

Will update after my appointment is completed. As of today, it hasn't gone well.Ended up going to another tire company who installed next day ( same tires I had been waiting on)Can't recommend ordering tires online for installation here.

I went for an oil change. Walked in at 11:20.. I probably didn t get helped until 11:40 due to one worker they told me it would take 1 hour. They didn t START on my vehicle until 1:40 when they were done I had to wait in a long line for about 40 minutes again. I pay & everything. So about 2:30 I m leaving first thing I go outside all my windows are all the way down. Secondly , when I got in my car was in drive gear but the vehicle was off. So basically just turned my car off without putting it in park. Please do better Service: Oil change

Just wanted to come on here to advocate for the mechanics .- The line is really no joke and feels like a madhouse (ie. a child crying, phone non-stop ringing, and multiple people trying to ask questions at once in a confided space).- Yes them not picking up the phone can be annoying, but once you get here and see what they have to deal with you d get why they don t have the time to.That said, I d highly highly encourage anyone coming in to service their vehicle here to clear out their schedule for the day, otherwise you ll just get frustrated and feel strapped for time. It s clear they re understaffed, but they are doing the best work with what they have available.The services themselves (battery and oil change) have been A-Ok with me! Standard, affordable, and gets the job done. I felt so bad seeing these older gentlemen (Alberto and Wayne, thanks for the awesome service!!) getting so swamped with angry customers when it s really out of their hands.Services: Battery, Oil change

Simply atrocious auto services as the majority of reviewers indicated: tires ordered online tooks weeks to arrive because of admin errors, prepaid tire installment and balance included were not implemented because--equipment's been down since the stone age. The prepubescent supervisor (told me the store is so remote, there's no manager on premise!) told me to either come back a couple weeks later when the equipments work or take it to a competitor like America Tire . Buy the tires online, picked up here but go somewhere else for car basic maintenance!Service: Tires

DO NOT GO HERE unless you have whole day to waste. I dropped off my car this afternoon for oil change and the nice lady at the register told me there were 2 cars ahead of me. I thought 2 cars for oil change would be fast but I was totally wrong!!! I ended up pick up my car after 6 o'clock!!! Meanwhile there were few customers were complaining other issues. I felt bad for the lady who worked over the register. Seems most of the customers came very angry. Worst oil change experience ever!!!!!!!!

Was looking to purchase tires at this location as the price was very competitive. Called the Tire center several times to find out how to schedule install. Waited on hold 4 times till the service kicked me off. Finally someone answered and I could hear carts smashing together and people talking. Employee hung up. I called back thinking it might be the connection and again the same thing. I feel so bad for the team members that have to hear their department phone ringing off the hook for customers that want to purchase products and support their jobs. Must be terrible!!!!!!!! Called Discount tire they matched Walmart s price and provided EXCELLENT customer service.

They are very understaffed. Waited close to 20 minutes on hold on the phone to have a question answered. Appointments only for oil changes now, although they are still behind even without taking walk-ins. If you remember to schedule beforehand and have plenty of time to kill for an oil change (at least 2-3 hours) then it s no problem, otherwise spend an extra $20-$30 and go somewhere much faster that doesn t require an appointment.
