Quality tune up is very good place for fixing your car. I have came here twice for loosing a transmission drain plug and replacing head gasket cover, both of times I have had very good experience for an awesome price. Harpreet has helped us both of the times and we will be coming to him if I the future anything comes up.

Two weeks ago my check engine light went on. They cleared it and today Went to these guys to a smog and told him the situation and they tested and did not pass. Charged me and told me to drive my vehicle for 70 miles. Did so and still nothing. Bad info, finding out that driving 70 miles just won't do it. Mechanic told me there's an impossible way to do it with Google info. Wish they didn't waste my time, gas and money and would of just told me to do the way it's suppose to be. Used to really like this place. Just my experience

The warranty for brakes change labor is only three months when you're bringing your own brand new parts.Otherwise would give five stars. Mechanics changed brake pads and rotors fast, all four within 2-3hrs. Did not wait in the line on Friday morning. There's a Starbucks walking distance if you're looking for place to wait.After they changed brakes, they tested them first and only after that returned the car. In overall satisfied with the experience.

Ive been to them a couple times, 1st time was my fan wouldnt stop running and 2 time was an oil change.these guys are knowlegdable,respectful and trustworthy.i recommend these guys 100% i live 45 min away but work 10 min away but honestly if i needed some else done id do the drive if i have too

I recently needed a smog check on my wife's low mileage 2006 Cadillac. I'm very particular about who I allow to service this vehicle. I was impressed with the service that Quality rendered. I will certainly consider using Quality to service my other vehicles.

For an oil change it's only $10-20 more than Walmart and much faster and better service. Was helped immediately and only took 1hr or less to get car back. Definitely recommend for affordable and decently fast oil changes.

Good service and fast turnaround time is a rarity in the Bay Area for any service. This business nails both: 45 mins turnaround for walk-in service without appointment on a Friday. No-nonsense and honest people with polite and friendly junior staff. Keep it up!

I went there based on the awesome reviews that they have here. But I am very disappointed with their service. I had my engine light on for my Hyundai Tucson so I went there for diagnosis. After diagnosis they mentioned that there is an issue with fuel pump assembly and it will cost around $1700 (part 1300 + labor and taxes 400) to replace it. I checked online and found out that Autozone is selling the part for around $600 (which is less then half of the price that they mentioned) so I declined the repair. After few days, I went to Hyundai service center for getting some of the recalls fixed on the car. And they mentioned that engine light was on because of the recall and has nothing to do with fuel pump assembly. I am happy that I saved the $1700 by not accepting the repairs but at the same time wasted $158 for wrong diagnosis.

Had smog check there for my Prius. Visited the station the first time. It was done promptly and the price is reasonable. A no-nonsense service.

New Experience 700$ for replaced Batterie.Boss said my Battery is very special and premium rare item. He said like I drive supercar or private jet. When I ask and show him the battery price on auto zone website it s just 200-240$ of course he gave me discount 25$ So I spent 666$ for replaced battery!!! He so nice!!!

I have been taking all of my vehicles to Quality Tuneup in Milpitas for the last 30 years since I was learning to drive. Harpreet and his crew and the previous owners have worked on all of our family vehicles with 100% satisfaction. Every time they are polite, professional and never tried to sell you anything that you do not need they listen to your request and follow through with your questions and get answers to things that they may not have. I would recommend this place to anybody. Its an honest place to take their vehicle whether it be a modern car or an older car. My current vehicle is a 2015 Audi A3. Harpreet and his team recently completed a 80,000 mile service with replacement of shocks and spark plugs. The vehicle runs brand new once again I've had belts, breaks, timing belts, water pumps, sensors, smog checks etc. All major services and an assortment of other things completed on other vehicles, and everything has always come out the way it's supposed to. Very goofAnswered my questions quick and easy.Were very honest. A previous mechanic told me my breaks needed to be resurfaced, but when Quality checked they said everything was fine and only in the yellow zone.They did notice one of my suspensions was leaking and gave me an estimate. Wasn't an emergency so will get it done another time.

Quality Car Care Center is providing amazing quality service providing, specially Edward. He helped me to fix the silencer heating sheet within few minute and has amazing skill to treat their customers on right direction. Definitely recommend to others, Thanks a lot!!

Went in last minute for an oil change. The service was fast, but one issue was, one mechanic drove my truck up the ramp and fell off the ramp twice. I can see it and hear it and they acted as if it was ok. Either the driver was inexperience and couldn t drive it properly. Drove home to check and saw my inner control arm had scratch marks and inner driver and passenger side rims had curb marks. I took it to another mechanic and asked if it will affect my driving. They said it s ok, so I didn t report anything. Not sure if I will return, since I am worried of inexperience and impolite service will be given.

I usually come here to Quality Tune Up to get my car, wife car, and mother in law car for a STAR certification smog test. They do all inspection requirements when doing a smog test. The price for a smog test I ll leave it up to ya ll. Turn around frame time getting a smog 25-30mins max, I could be wrong but it s all depends what time and day. All other car services I ll leave it up to ya ll expectation. Overall customer service is great and friendly. Got places to walk close by to eat, look around when your car getting service's.

Worst experience I ve ever had at an oil change. The technician not only overfilled but also screwed up my tire pressure TPM. Very frustrating.

Staffs are super friendly, considerate , and efficient. Price is very reasonable, even cheaper than AAA for regular maintenance, you don t have to think about negotiation. I always go there for my car care with great experience. Went in for 'star station' smog check. They do not take appointments for smog check so I had to wait 45 minutes before they could test my car on a wed morning. The whole process took about an hour. Used a coupon on their website to get $20 off. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Joey. He was excellent.

Very unprofessional. They took 8 days and finally gave me a car which was not working. For that unfinished work, they charged me $1200. When I went to AAA later, within a day they mentioned it was an electrical issue which needs to be taken to the electrical specialist car repair work shop and didn t charged me a dime. Also they mentioned the fuse box was replaced with old box that was getting heated up quickly. Quality tuneup charged me for the new box cost. If these guys were professional, they wouldn t have held my car for 8 days, as they were aware that they didn t had electrical specialists in their workshop. I lost both time and money, for which I would not recommend anyone to get any electrically damaged repairs in this workshop. Never want to go to this workshop as I feel Iam cheated.Service: Electrical repair
