My first experience was very good. Industry standard pricing and good intake, available on time and good work. I will update after Mike (there is no Alvin) hunts down some error codes on my '05 chevy truck which might be harder. ( wish I hadbought a Tundra!)

Got a quick oil change full synthetic for half the price of Jiffy Lube.I called in to make sure they're available for walk in at the moment. The oil change itself took less than 30 mins.They won t be overly friendly, just a transactional oil change? ok. type beat.But I got all I wanted: a fast and affordable full-synthetic oil change.

Not happy from the service. After the oil change one valve stem cap was missing. I noticed it once I arrived at home. I called them and they told me it was missing before they do the oil change. If it was missing before the oil change and tire rotation then why i wasn t informed. I know it costs less than a dollar, but this will make us worry about other nuts and bolts to check if they are loose or so Services: Auto maintenance, Oil change

Been going here for years. Always the best service and prices around. Everyone here is kind, generous, and just easy to talk to. No hidden fees and they always call before doing any new work from problems they find while servicing your vehicle. Their work is awesome and done in a timely manner.

Been a customer of Alvin's for over 10 years thru friend's reco. Reliable and honest estimates and work performed. I have zero complaints and plenty of kudos. I've reco'd my wife and friends for import servicing and they all said good things as well. Keep up the fantastic work!

Mike and his crew came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. Honest, fair courteous service and willingness to work with customer in addition to the quality of work being done. Won't be going anywhere else with our vehicles. Thank Mike!

I ve been here several times for major maintenance and repairs and have always had honest feedback about what needs to be done on my 2005 Toyota Camry. I ve only worked with Mike up front and he s a very honest guy. I like that he follows up promptly by phone before proceeding to fix something to make sure I was comfortable with the costs of parts and labor. I recommend this place without any reservation.

Alvin Auto Center does outstanding job all the time. I am their customer for years.And the job they do is excellent. They are very honest . Their staff are very courteous. Alvin the owner , Anthony his son are always so attentive to all your needs.. Mike is also so gracious and takes care of your needs. I would rate them outstanding in all they do.I will always go to their shop for my cars need.

Great customer service. Honest mechanics and way better then going to the dealership. I been taking my Lexus IS350 here for years and they do good job for doing my service checks and maintenance. Make sure to call in to make appointment.

I've been going to this shop for over 20 years (through 5 cars), even after I moved away from Milpitas. I trust them that much. It's a family business and the original owner passed the shop over to his son. I like how the shop actually checks the vehicle instead of guessing what might be the problem. They are also honest when telling you what services need to be done and don't try to oversell you on services you don't need. I will continue bringing my current and future cars to this shop for service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I've been using Alvin's Auto for at least 5 years. Tony and the crew there are always so awesome and they don't try to rip you off. A good friend of mine works for a major car dealership as a mechanic and he says you should never go there for services bc they always try to up sell and rip you off. One time I dropped off my car and the dealership mechanic said I needed a new battery the next time my oil change was due. Went to Alvin's and they said the battery was fine and didn't need to be replaced. Trust these guys 100%.

My SO and I love Alvin's Auto!! Great auto body shop who know their stuff when it comes down to Toyota owned cars. We brought in our '06 Prius for an electrical problem with the signal light and electrical water pump.Of course, we brought in the car at Toyota Stevens Creek for a price quote which was way over our budget, plus they weren't as knowledgeable compared to Alvin's. Anthony, who helped us at the time, he was well rounded on Toyota cars and carefully inspected the car by showing us what were the problems and what should be done as opposed to Toyota Stevens Creek who didn't show us anything but a printed paper of things to get fixed.Alvin and the staff were friendly, honest and didn't pressure us into anything. After much consideration, we decided to get our car fixed here! Not only were they helpful, but they provide legitimate Toyota parts and not generic brands that will ruin your car! We're definitely coming here from now on for service and maintenance! Well priced and efficient!

We've been taking all our vehicles to Alvin's for several years and have always received top notch service, honest advice and recommendations. Alvin and Tony are courteous and men of integrity which is very hard to find these days in auto repair. On one occasion, I called Alvin's from out of state while on vacation and they provided immediate suggestions and then directed me to a local auto parts store. If you are looking for a honest service station for your vehicle, this is the place to be. They are very upfront about their pricing and don't recommend needles repairs. You can depend on them to do a good job.

They charged me$128 to diagnose a.c., and couldn't find the leak, then wanted to charge me again to add dye, which should have been part of the diagnostics anyway. I can't trust them anymore for further service
