I m happy to have found a place that offers both smog tests and repair. The courteous and knowledgeable staff quickly tested my car and gave me a diagnostic code. I look forward to having my car repaired at VP Auto soon.

I brought my vehicle in oct 30 for repair nov 10 pick up vehicle and has been back three times put usedParts on my vehicle to get more money will never go back $992.00 in the toilet

This is the second time I've been here to get my car smogged and received great service. If they don't think your car will pass smog, they will tell you ahead of time so that you don't have to pay for the retest if it fails the first time. They are honest about it.I will keep coming back here and will change my review if I receive service that I don't agree with. As of right now, they've given me good service.

Very unprofessional. They re not good at communicating what s going on between the office and mechanics. It seems the repairs they provide are only temporary as I ve had to take back vehicles for the same issues they fix . Do not recommend coming here.

I arrived at VP automotive was greeted by a very courteous receptionist. Took my information for a smog on my auto and after that I was on my way with in 15min. Thank you for your excellent service.

OUR TRUCK BROKE DOWN IN MERCED. WE ORDERED A REBUILT ENGINE FROM VIP AUTO REPAIR. THE OWNER DID NOT REBUILD THE ENGINE AND INSTALLED A USED MOTOR FOR $7000 WITHOUT OUR APPROVAL. WE SETTLED AT $6000 DUE TO HIS THREATS. HE CLAIMS TO BE A MINUTEMAN AND BOOST ABOUT HAVING WEAPONS. NOW THE TRUCK MOTOR STOPPED WORKING AS THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. WE WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED AS WE ARE TAKING LEGAL ACTION. THEY ALSO REMOVE PARTS OFF THE TRUCK AND OUR SAFETY OF OUR SMALL CHILDREN AND US WERE A RISK. THEY ARE UNDER INVESTIGATION BY THE AUTHORITIES.

Awesome, Recently took my car in. My car running rough and unable to solve problem. They did the repairs at a Very Fair Price. I was able to get my smog also done there. Thank you to ALL your staff. They also will provide a ride home Locally while car is being repaired and pick you back up when car is repaired. You have a lifer customer...!!

Horrible. They had my car since 8am to almost 5pm they never checked it and returned my car worse than when I took it in. All they did was laugh saying that there's nothing wrong that what do i want them to do. Took it elsewhere and they found the problem. Would not recommend. Horrible customer service and horrible job

Be careful when taking your car to this place the owner uses your vehicle for personal business he goes to my daughter house and it s stocking her father we already call the cops and we will be taking video and photo of the car that he uses yesterday he uses one of his customer car and today another one we know it s from customer since at the shop they put a number on the windshield so be careful if cops get your license plate this guy it s not professional

They try to Rip off my mom. She took Bmw and told her she needed new motor it was going to cost 4,300 dollars. We took car elsewhere for second opinion it was two parts that need to be replaced it cost 460 dollars to repair.

Gave me a repair quote for $1200. Shopped around, found three places that would do job between $500-$600. That's more than half off his quote.
