not sure if you guys dont want business or not but we called 3 times to get a price on a set of tires for our id4. every time you said you would get right back with a price. we spoke to 2 different people explaining we did not get a response and were assured we would get a call back but did not. this is unacceptable! guess we'll have to go to costco. their probably cheaper anyway and they dont charge to rotate tires! hopefully theres another vw shop that we can trust for any future problems

If you are considering purchasing a car now or in the future, I would recommend you visit the VW Dealership first. Very professional, did not waist my time showing me vehicles I was not interested in. Asked important questions and showed me exactly what I was looking for. I am very impressed with this dealership and would highly encourage you to make this your first stop before visiting other dealerships.

This is truly a special service center. I have been to others and do not find the family friendly atmosphere. Most people dread when it s time to take their vehicles in for service; I don t mind. Each time I enter I am greeted by multiple people. Paul is incredible at maintaining this welcoming environment by hiring and training people to treat customers like they would their own family. This is the dealership service center that all others should strive to be like. I will by my third Volkswagen in a few years because of this service center.

This is the most Ghetto Dealership you could ever experience. Homeless are EVERYWHERE...The Service Department is So unprofessional the vehicles at the service area had broken windows (obviously vandalized) and it's just BAD I made an appointment for a Recall service but HELL NO!!, IF YOU VALUE YOUR VW, GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE!!!!! This place is a joke!!!! I DID NOT LEAVE MY CAR WITH THESE GUYS!!!!

I wasn t provided updates on my car. I was told it would only take a day to fix and they had it for two days. When I picked up my car there was grease on my door. When I reached my house my coolant light came on and when I checked the coolant was empty. Not sure why but there was coolant before I dropped off my car. Johnny from the front desk was helpful but my over all experience wasn t good and makes me double think about going back.

I ve called during business hours on multiple days, different times of day, and nobody answers the phone in the service department. Luckily the Clovis location is easy to reach.

The dealership staff was very friendly and courteous. Sales Representative Adam Rodriquez was very knowledgeable in showing me about my new vehicle, its features, its operation and answering any questions I might have. He was very upfront about everything when it came to the doing all the paperwork for the purchase of the vehicle also and made the whole process very straightforward and stress free. This has been so far the smoothest vehicle purchase I have made so far.

My sister takes her car here in for service hadn't noticed a touched up door ding afterwards. She has no touch up paint and no other car to park it next that could have dinged her door. It's the only place it's been serviced and she purchased it at Clovis VW brand new. What to do in this circumstances?

I initially took the car into have the dsg fluid changed and then made the mistake of asking them to check out where an evap leak was at and a misfire issue so I could fix it myself, they ended up keeping the car for more than a day and when I told them it was fine and there was no need to continue the diagnostic they basically brushed me off and told me they'd call back in an hour which they never did. Save yourself some time and if you need vw service in merced go to central valley European.... Side note if you have cold start misfire on a trip engine it's probably carbon buildup if you have checked spark plugs and coils

I went to purchase a Golf R. Jacob took me on a test drive. I was intimidated by it because I was used to something much slower. The car felt too nice for me. So he told me about the GTI and some history about the car. They had two Rabbit editions and a Autobahn. I took the Rabbit on a drive and right away I fell in love with it. My father and I did the negotiating with Columbus (I believe was his name). He was very transparent and gave us the best deal we could get! Two years later and I am very happy with my 2019 GTI Autobahn! I take it in for maintenance and the service team always does an amazing job! Jim is a very nice man and listens to my concerns of my vehicle. I trust this dealership and their team of people from Sales to the parts team.

I don t normally write reviews but my wife and I wanted to upgrade her vehicle and I could not be more happy that we found Merced VW. I prefer text and email communications and Adam Rodriquez was absolutely amazing. He was responsive, honest, true to his word and gave us a great deal. He also went out of his way to drive wayyyy too far to deliver it to our home as with both of our jobs and kids we wouldn t have been able to get to the dealership for a couple of weeks. I fully and completely recommend Merced VW and truly appreciate Adam s help throughout the entire process. Thank you!

TLDR: Sales people/techs were intentionally deceptive or uninformed, recommended a complete transmission replacement for a simple problem. Go somewhere else.Brought my girlfriends 2010 golf in for a transmission issue it was having. They took the car and gave it a diagnostic test that we requested and paid for, they also test drove it and found nothing. A few days later the same issue came up and we brought it back. The diagnostic scan showed the issue and they refused to fix it. Instead they recommended a complete transmission replacement for almost 6k. The salesperson also said they test drove the car and " the transmission is a mess" when it was clear the milage on the car hadn't changed and the transmission hadn't been opened. I ended up researching a bit more and doing the relatively simple repair in my garage in about an hour with a $50 part and some transmission fluid. The car has been on the road for over 6 months and 5000 miles with no problems. We used this dealership for services in the past with no issues, but they were either uninformed or intentionally deceptive when it came to recommendations on how to fix their own product. Either way you shouldn't bring your vehicle here.

I was quoted 300 when I picked up my car it was 700 I asked why and the price changed again I'm very unimpressed I asked for transmission service and all that was done was a small portion of transmission fluid was drained and replaced

My fiancee purchased what were supposed to be new tires and one year warranty. Four months later she has a blow out driving in Cupertino when she inquired about her warranty they. Said she would have to bring her car in shop. So drive on a spare all the way from Cupertino we cant go to any other vw repair thats absurd. So bought all new tires from pep boys now thats what new tires are supposed to look like all the rubber sticks on it not like the ones from vw merced used tires sold as new . Bad business. Lost our business
