I have been here twice now, first time was for my scions muffler delete which they did an amazing job and I couldn t have been happier! About a year later I now since have taken in my civic due do a clanking which ended up being a piece of gravel stuck in between my router and dust shield, they also replaced my brake pads and resolved several issues in all one day. I didn t have a ride and had to take an Uber and they were nice enough to wait to close shop for me, so I could pick up my car. Ricardo was super helpful and informative and the technicians did and do an amazing job. I will be returning and definitely recommend to everyone!!

Ricardo is not only helpful but very knowledgeable on what he is doing. He saved me a lot of trouble. I got all my fluids changed on both my vehicles! His team is very welcoming greeting me every time I came to check on my vehicles. Wouldn t go anywhere else!!!

I came here because my sister highly recommended this shop and, if I m being honest, I have never been so confident leaving a repair shop.. these guys are transparent, quick, efficient and have excellent customer service. They keep you updated through the process, share pictures of the inspection and even show you the old part after replacing it and explain why they replaced it. They even suggested a follow up (that would take only a few minutes) to ensure the leak was fixed. Merced Radiator Shop is a gem, if you re ever in need of vehicle repairs check out this shop and you won t regret it.

I had recently moved here from the Bay Area and I needed a shop that I felt I could trust to service my vehicles. I'm so glad I chose this one. Ricardo's customer service is excellent, he and the staff / technicians are always courteous, respectful, and professional. The prices for work done are very reasonable. I highly recommend this shop.

Took my gmc in for a glasspack. They let me hear all the different muffler options on the truck before committing to the one i liked the the sound of best. Great service. Great work!!!

New to Merced from Oregon, and drive a 97 Mustang that in my knowledge had not been Freon charged ii the life of the car. Ricardo was very efficient in detailing the most cost effective way to make repairs and get my A/C running smoothly! Was recommended by two people to come cause they are "fair" pricing. Price was 200 more than a friend's similar job. No welding necessary on this exhaust swap.$150 job was $350 and ibought all my parts. AWE TOURING INSTALL on YouTube will show you the simplicity. Image attached is me back in the next day at a different shop due to klink noise after first. Needed some tightening on some bolts.

I ve been doing business with Merced radiator shop for many years now , Ricardo and his team do excellent work and are very honest , very reasonable prices for the specific work you need done , they did major work to my 99 Tahoe a few years back and the truck is still running great to this day , recently I made a visit to have them check out my ac system on my 98 gmc sierra , I was told by another mechanic that I had a Freon leak coming from my evaporator that s located inside the dash , which I was 100% sure that s where it was coming from because that s what I was told. Ricardo wrote me a quote up and we were going to get it done the following day, Ricardo and his team are very honest. He called me right away and told me they noticed leaks coming from elsewhere and maybe that big job was not necessary, he wrote me a new quote for the parts and labor needed for the leaks that they obviously seen, saved me money and time because I would have been back without the problem being solved if they would have done what I asked them from the previous mechanics statements, Ricardo and his team performed the job, and the results were more than great, I am a very satisfied customer and I will be back for a future business, again, if you re looking for a honest shop with very fair prices no need to look elsewhere This is the shop to do it. I want to thank the guys for getting me on the road with satisfaction and I feel my money was well spent , thank you merced radiator !

Ricardo is very professional and knowledgeable, he made sure to show us the used parts he removed for new. He also took the time to explain why my a/c stopped working. He was willing to work with me on making repairs. I had left my dealers service department very frustrated and Ricardo helped me feel better about understanding what was going on with my car and was reasonably priced compared to my car dealers service dept. I brought Hugo a radiator that I needed built for an old car that I am restoring. He gave me a consultation as to what my options were based of the engine I am building. I am grateful for his time and knowledge. Most places that I go to have that "no it all mechanic arrogance." He has great customer service. I had to take another car to have the ac repaired. His team is great and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Had a good experience here with my 05 ford explorer leaking coolant . Took it in and they replaced my thermostat housing and water pump . Oil change. They got it done pretty quick and we're friendly. Called Merced Radiator after a big shop quoted me $850 for front and back brakes. Not only did Merced Radiator come in a couple hundred under but a man, Ricardo was so nice to me explaining everything. Went in to get exhaust welded to stop exhaust leak. They did not bend the pipes right and left a huge exhaust leak at the connection of exhaust flange. Don t know if Hugo is the owner but he refused to fix his bends and wanted me to pay more for something that I had to take to another shop to get it fixed right. Will be reporting them to Bureau of Automotive Repair. Not to mention you pay top dollar for low end welds.Edit: Owner offered a refund if I deleted review. I refused the refund as I rather save another customer the hassle of shady business. The problem with the exhaust wasn t the gasket that you wanted to charge me for. All you had to do was tighten the bolts to fix the huge gap at the connection that you left but you refused to fix your work without charging me more for it.Service: Exhaust

I paid Merced radiator for a diagnostic for my car they charged me ninety nine dollars to diagnose my car and didn't even tell me the exact problem gave me a list of stuff that might be wrong with the car but I paid for a diagnostic which tells you what the problem exactly is they just want money they don't care about honesty here at Merced radiatorServices: Auto A/C recharge, Auto A/C replacement

I ve been bringing my car to this shop for about a year now, I have had a few things done; the repairs last and this shop is very honest, professional, quick and willing to work cars in on short notice. I trust the staff here to give honest quotes and reliable work , they even show you the damaged part before and after replacement. They don t offer sales pitches on services the car doesn t need. Awesome location. The staff is very friendly and will explain charges, services, etc to you in a way that does not seem degrading. The prices are very reasonable.The only time I had a problem there was the fault of the part manufacturer. They did not stop to question or doubt me. Just fixed the issue, apologized for the manufacturer and got me on my way as quickly as possible.I would give more than 5 stars if I had the option.

Well what cant I SAID they were very good in fixing my problem , replace a water pump thermostat and serpentine belt in a prompt time with warranty on my 2002 Grand Cherokee Jeep and price was more than fair. recommend all Jeep Owner take your jeep there not the Dealer ask for Hugo and thank you.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance
