I received the dreaded SMOG certification required from the DMV so I headed to tri-city smog. Great, local business that was able to take me, as a walk-in, right away hassle-free. Process took about 20 minutes (they weren t terribly busy when I went on a Saturday morning). Overall very happy with the experience and treatment as a customer.

Not a big frills kinda shop, just a great local get in and out smog shop done at a good price. I've been here twice and both times, they were friendly, helpful, and got it done quick while I waited. I would definitely recommend if you need a smog.

Came here for a smog. I received very friendly and professional service from Marlene. Walked in, no appointment, and there were about 4-5 people in front of me but felt like time went by quickly. Highly recommend this local business.

This smog inspection shop has been in business for years, and they have a devoted following. My aunt has been taking her vehicles here for years and I know why. They are good at what they do. They get you in and out with the minimum of delay. Unfortunately her car did not pass because the car s computer needed to reset after recent repair work. While I did pay a charge for the failed test, I was told that I would not be recharged to verify the car s computer had reset. We drove the car around and took it back, but all of the codes had not cleared, and as promised we were not charged. We will be taking it back after driving it around some more. Good shop. Nice staff.

Today, I went to go get a car smogged done and it was the easiest Experience at Tri-City Smog. The lady at the front desk was super helpful and respectful. I was in and out of that place in 10 minutes. Definitely going to recommend friends and family members here

Today was a disheartening experience at Tri-City Smog. I had a pre-scheduled appointment, not a walk-in, yet the professionalism I expected was sorely lacking. Upon my arrival, the lady behind the desk didn t even extend the courtesy of a greeting. Instead, she asked me to wait, evidently because she needed to call her mother regarding some mundane issue with a cable guy.While I patiently waited, she took my paperwork and attempted to get mileage from my vehicle and joked about the empty parking lot (which should ve been my first hint) and their apparent lack of business. This lack of attention continued when she took a call from said cable guy, discussing everything from changing TV inputs to other trivialities.After a frustrating 10 minutes, with my patience thinning, I decided enough was enough and left. As I drove away, she remained engrossed in her call, showing little to no concern for the customer she had just lost.Thankfully, I found a more efficient and cost-effective shop that took care of my smog needs promptly. If I were the owner of Tri-City Smog, I d be deeply concerned about the apparent profit loss stemming from such dismal customer service. The glaring emptiness of the parking lot speaks volumes, and it's clear that today, at least, wasn t a profitable one for them.

This is our second time visiting this location for the last 3 years. I came in and out within 15 minutes with my appointment and passing my Smog test for my 2014 Honda Odyssey. Very efficient and friendly service. They offer military discounts to all veterans. Just ask and show your military ID.

Dishonest. Told them I had a check engine light on prior to starting the smog check. Let me proceed anyway only to then have them tell me you fail automatically regardless with the check engine light on. They told me this after they ran the smog check knowing it was going to fail .find someone honest thats not trying to screw people to make a buck. Had to put many miles on the vehicle after the they failed me to reset the computer per CA. Total pain and waste of money.Service: Emissions testing

On your web site you state that a test and repair station will fail a car to make more money, HOW , its hooked up to Cal-BAR. when it runs the test, they will be fined if they cheat.How can you make such defamatory statements . unless you are one of the type of smog check stations, that get paid to pass illegal emission cars yourself . you should be ashamed of your business practice.

Excellent experience. The gal at the front desk was very pleasant to deal with. I was concerned given other negative reviews about her. I believe that going in with a good attitude makes all the difference. You get what you give. They didn t put these socialist smog laws in place. Wow, this place was efficient, fast and friendly. Marlene at the front was pleasant to work with. Great customer service, clean lobby and clean back shop. This is my new spot when I need a smog for now on. Shoot if they sold other stuff there I'd be going to them for everything lol. Thanks guys, keep doing what your doing. Long story short the smog place I went to in hemet on Sunday, before coming here, all smog, zero customer service skills, pushing people away on a Sunday. Tri city smog goes above and beyond, I'm in the industry of automotive my self, being on the other side of the counter is a huge eye opener on great customer service. This place won't disappointe anyone.

Great service and very professional, yet down to earth staff. Was nice they were open to making appointments as much as just taking walk-ins. Inside they have a couch and chairs, and outside 2 chairs. The day I went I called ahead asking how busy they were, and they weren't. So I went within 10 min, and of course by the time I got there about 4 people showed up in front of me. Ha, really not their fault. Sooo take away point is maybe make an appointment next time to avoid this and hold your spot.

The lady who answers the phones is frustrating to deal with. Seriously, there s no need to have an attitude when a customer is just asking questions. And she couldn t even give a helpful response. Very short answers, like I was a bother. All I needed was my smog done.Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

Great place to go for a smog check. They open on time and are very efficient at getting you in and out. The young lady on the desk does a great job as well as the the young man doing the checks. My car did pass the first time but he told me exactly why and I was able to correct it my self and it passed the second time. Highly recommend you take your car here next time you need a smog test done.Service: Emissions testing

Very straightforward service. I made an appointment but probably didn't need one since they weren't busy at the time. Staff was friendly. No complaints. I'll bring my cars here again.
