I used to absolutely love this place. But unfortunately their customer service has gone downhill since my last visit. I had gotten a patch done on a flat tire and the very next day the tire was flat again. I got it patched at 530p and it was flat at 3a when I went to go to work. I only drove the vehicle 3 mins home from the shop the prior day. I brought my vehicle back and they fixed it no problem, cool. The service tech came up gave me my keys and said I was good to go. I even asked if I needed to be checked out or anything like that and he said no you're good to go. 20 minutes after driving my vehicle my light came on to check my tire pressure. When I called back later I spoke to Jose the manager of the store. He was extremely rude and kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain to him the situation with my tire the past two days. I did make a point to tell him I didn't appreciate the way he was speaking to me and how he was coming off very rude and I wasn't able to even get a word in. He then proceeded to tell me to just bring the vehicle in and we can discuss this later. He also made a point to tell me that I left without paying earlier, I tried to explain to him the technician told me I was good to go and there was nothing further needed but he still cut me off and wouldn't let me speak. I assumed that since I was there less the 24 hours prior that they may have missed something, fixed it and I didn't need to be charged, I would have been happy to pay had I been told the proper information when I was there. This is such a downgrade in service compared to 2 months ago when I had the wonderful experience working with Matt. Matt was extremely helpful, very thorough, answered all of my questions, and maybe feel like a valued customer. Which is what anyone working in customer service should do. This time around working with Jose, the new manager, he was extremely disrespectful, rude, seemed annoyed and cuts people off. Due to this negative experience I will not be using their services any further nor recommending them to anybody else.

The decline in customer service from what used to be excellent is disappointing...Having been a regular customer for oil changes and brake services here. I recently found out there is a discount oil change service offered through CarAdvise. I made an appointment through CarAdvise and arrived at the shop with confirmation. However, the front desk employee seemed annoyed when I mentioned the discount rate, claiming he had never heard of it despite working there for years. I understand it might be a new thing for them and can be confusing, it would be appreciated if he can help figure this out together. He then called the manager and the manager confirmed the partnership, however, his attitude remained unhelpful and rude. He look annoyed and said it is a headache to assist me, making me feel it was my fault. I did him a favor and left so he didn't have to deal with all those "headaches".

Dave was a great help! I ordered some tires on Amazon and Dave was nice enough to let me come in a few days before my appointment just for my convenience! He was also able to get me an alignment appointment ASAP when I inquired about the service. Thank you!

Dave was super friendly and nice. The tires were affordable and the lobby was clean with Wi-Fi. There s also a donut shop close by if you re looking for coffee while you wait. They were quick about the process so I was able to get to work on time. Normally I have a hard time trusting mechanic shops and would prefer to do the work myself but these guys were awesome, friendly and honest. Would definitely recommend.

Scheduled an appt online for 4 new tires after picking out a set online. Dave called a couple of days before the appt to check what I was looking for. Understandably, he told me that online inventory is not always accurate and gave me several options within a reasonable price range. That also gave me time to review my options before the appt. Appt day, Dave was friendly, helpful and didn t try to upsell me. And my tires were installed and aligned quicker than expected.

Terrific customer service! Dave is so personable, friendly, and welcoming. He is honest with what your car needs and does not try to sell you anything more. I have been here for two oil changes (and tire rotations), and happy with the service that was provided. Then, shortly after my second oil change, I had low pressure on one of my tires. I made an appt right away, and Dave personally called to check in on me. He was concerned something happened to my car/tire since he had just seen me for an oil change the week before. He is very caring, which makes the quality care at this shop superb. They were able to replace all my tires within a few hours. I had old tires, and one of them started to crack, possibly from going over a pothole or something. I am so happy I found a local shop I can trust and continue going to!

Dave is back! We are new residents in Martinez that used to go to a different tire choice shop but we were always pleased with the way the do business. Now that we found Dave that runs this Tire Choice we could not be heppier. My review is long due, me and husband have both serviced our cars here, a ford escort and a jeep limited grand cherokee. They know all cars they are giving great deals and are very friendly. Highly recommended!

After finding a nail in each of rear tires, one near the sidewall, I was convinced that I would need to replace at least one tire. Called several tire dealers which told me there is a 3 to 4 days lead time. I then called Tire Choice and spoke to Dave, the store manager. He searched several suppliers and found that he could have one the next day. I drove the store to order the tire and for Dave to confirm I was ordering the correct tire. Once there Dave looked at the nail in my tire, removed it and inspected it for leaks. Tire was fine as the nail only went through the top surface of the tire. Dave refused payment for his time. The level of service that Dave provided plus his friendly demeanor is the reason I will return to this store again for my tire needs.Thanks again Dave.

Dave gives excellent, friendly service. He takes the time to explain things clearly when needed. The prices are very reasonable and he doesn t try to sell me things I don t want or need. I feel very confident leaving my Miata in his care and I will be taking my car back there for all future services. Thank you, Dave, for the fine quality of service you and your staff provide!

Needed a battery for 2012 Prius V, installed. Other places didn't have it or wouldn't install it. Tire Choice Auto Centers in Martinez had the battery, installed it quickly, at a good price! I'm feeling lucky that I went there.

Got dropped off here by a tow truck after my tire blew out on a pothole. While my tire size was a bit over my budget, they put my spare on for me for free and refused to take any type of gratuity. Thank you!

Great experience! I ordered tires via USAA and made an appt for a few days later. The day of the installation, David called to say the tires weren t in (that part wasn t great). He apologized, explained that he had no control of when the tires would come, but promised to get me in quickly once they did. As promised, he followed up and when I didn t call back he called again the next day. On the day of my appt, he was just as friendly and professional, and had a clean and welcoming shop. He checked my spare and brakes (which were bad!) but didn t balk when I said I d do the brakes myself. When I complained about the locking lug nuts on my car, he directed me to the cheapest online place to buy nuts that would work and offered install them for free. Great shop, and I ll be going there from now on!

Despite their website saying they're open on Sundays, and the website allowing me to make an appointment on Sunday, after showing up at my appointed time, I discovered that they are not, in fact, open on Sundays.

Excellent customer service and competitive prices. Hard to find a tire shop with both of these qualities. This shop goes above and beyond to help their customers. As others have pointed out they are honest and will not try to sell you unnecessary parts/services like so many other tire shops. Dave and team are fantastic! I live in Pleasant Hill but am happy to make the drive as I know it is worth it.

I found I had a lag screw stuck in my tire one night, and Dave got me in the next morning for a quick repair. I was hesitant on repairing instead of replacing the tire, but he walked me through the patch process and made me feel comfortable with the decision. I will definitely be going back for any tire issues!

Very satisfied! Highly recommend! Thank you Ken for taking really good care of me. My Honda needed brakes as well as an oil change. Matt worked on my car and did a great job. Fast and friendly service. Ken is the new manager and has been in the business for over 30 years. He has the expertise I am looking for and knows what he is talking about. I am thrilled I have a place close to home that I can trust. On top of that, their excellent customer service will have me coming back. Next will be tires. :) Thank you again! Happy customer!

They are honest and take care of me every time I take my car in. I brought my car in for an oil change and they saw my wheels needed a very slight alignment, so they just took care of it for me. I also brought my car in because an undercarriage panel was dragging on the ground. They just fixed it and handed me my keys back and refused payment. A previous time, I went for an oil change, they had rebate forms at the desk. When they saw I was going to grab one, they just went ahead and applied it as a coupon instead to save me the trouble.

Came in with a flat tire, but knew I would probably need new tires and possibly breaks. Dave was amazing and very helpful! Explained what was needed and even took the time to show the condition everything was in so I could visually see what work and why it was needed on the car versus just listing the cost and stating what needed to be fixed. The staff was nice and had my car ready by the estimated timeframe. Very welcoming and friendly environment!

Friendly, helpful, but most importantly, honest! We were having trouble finding decent tires for our 1995 Toyota. Tire Choice was a bit of a drive for us, but well worth it. Mike helped us pick the best tire for us, got us in and taken care of in a timely manner, and switched our old spare at no additional charge. Everyone on the crew was friendly and respectful. The biggest thing though was that we asked them to check and replace our brakes, which our longtime mechanic had told us were in serious need of replacement. Mike checked and double checked and said our brakes were like new and absolutely did not need to be replaced! He chose to be honest when he could have made a sale and we never would have known the difference. He has made a new loyal customer, we will be back, and recommend this store to anyone looking for an honest, friendly auto store.

The service, prices, and scheduling are great! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and seem to genuinely care about customers. Plus, they work on Teslas! I would totally recommend them for your tire needs.

Clean shop, very professional. Dave is a good guy, they did an old school alignment on my 70 Camaro. Not everyone can do this. Got the new bfgs installed too.I was very impressed with the service.

I had a simple and easy experience going there for the first time. A guy named Dave helped me with one of my tires and answered any questions I had regarding my car. Pretty nice place, will go again to fix my tire.

Maybe take down your large sign that says Open Sundays and change your Google hours to closed on Sunday. Waste of time
