Went to purchase a car for my daughter. Val helped us find the perfect car for her, so perfect I wanted to keep it for myself. I know Boris for many years and would never buy a used car from anyone else. Yes, his staff are extremely knowledgeable, and yes, he has an amazing inventory of cars. However, this is not why I keep coming back to him and recommending him to my friends and family. What makes this dealership special, is HONESTY and INTEGRITY with which they conduct business.The buying process is extremely transparent, the discounts are real, the history of each car is easily verifiable, and the cars are always in excellent shape. There s no hidden damage or mechanical issues, no extra fees or financing tricks. Platinum Motors staff remain at your disposal for years to come, helping with everything from maintenance, to insurance claims, to eventually selling the car.The day you drive off the lot is not the end of your relationship with Platinum Motors, but just a beginning. Buyers beware!Was sold a corvette with an altered tune and aftermarket lower pulley, both items which should have never passed smog. Car popped check engine light within less than 24 hours, car is misfiring, shuddering when going into boost and had steering rack bolts so loose that they could have came out while driving, lost steering and crashed. Dealership has refused to take the car back and now having to take legal actions on being sold a car that won't pass smog

I Asked Boris to find me a 300H Lexus with white interior and black exterior, he did just that. Then helped me with financing. He even did a full inspection and tested the car before selling it to me. Car had 45K mile now has 145K still runs great.

They ve been the #1 dealership at Martinez for last few years and in San Leandro for over 15 for a reason. They re willing to work with you and give you the best deal unlike most dealerships who just want to get the most money out of you. Also they offer with every purchase complimentary full detail, one more oil service and full tank of gas. Last time at a differnt store i had to fight for my gas. Manny was very helpful and the process was fairly quick. They helped me with the car I wanted and made sure I got the best deal for the car. Also they have thier on shop here at the dealership. Very high end invetory. Would definitely recommend!Write to Boris Meleshinsky

Getting a new/used car is typically a very long and painful process. That is not the case with these guys at Platinum Motors in Martinez. I received an amazing price on a used Shelby GT500. They negotiated vigorously on my behalf to get me the best loan rate through the bank. They processed all the paperwork quickly, explained everything clearly each step of the way, and even offered to fix a small module that needed replacing in the dash for free, as well as ordering and replacing a stolen cobra badge on the passenger side of the car, got me a warranty, and took care of everything and just handled everything I needed with professional finesse. These guys are the real deal! 5-stars, heck 6-stars!!! Thank you Boris! Much much appreciated. Stocked to show off my new ride!

I bought a used car from them and it broke down on me 3 months later. When I contacted them to see if there was anything they could do to help I talked to several people all the people I talked to gave me the runaround and said they would call me back and never called me back. I finally got a hold of someone and when I explained to the person what happened they told me it was nothing they could do. I now have to come out of pocket on something that should ve been fixed before the car was sold.

Terrible experience. We traded in our vehicle & have been waiting over 7 weeks for Platinum Motors to pay off our trade-in.On top of that, poor communication skills, anytime we try to get in contact with any person at the dealership we get the run around or are met with rude representatives. Strongly don't recommend this dealer to anyone.

Be careful buying from them,especially if you are out of state. I am a Washington resident and I was charged 530$ for licensing and registration from them. First of all it took six months to get any kind of licensing from them and it was california registration and plates when it finally showed up. They gave me a California temporary plate the day i bought it which i told them numerous times wasn't right because i had bought two other cars in California in the last two years that didn't go this way. The other two dealers gave me a trip permit to get to Washington and then I would take all the paperwork into washington department of license to get registration and plates for my state. It took six months to get anything that would let me get licensed in Washington so the truck was undrivable for three months after their California temp plate expired. Long story short... Six months later I was able to get washington licensing and had to pay for all of it. My truck is licensed in two states because of their screw up and they won't refund any of the money they charged me for licensing. Pay attention to what you are being charged for and when they "especially KC" tell you they know what they are doing don't believe them. They owe me 530$

Buying a car through Platinum Motors is easy and hassle free.I planned to buy a brand new car through a different dealership a while back. That didn't work. Good thing I waited. This experience of purchasing a vehicle from Platinum Motors was probably the easiest that I have ever made. Want to start with the website. The website was easy to use and filtering for the vehicle in interest was very simple. I had a vehicle to trade in and was given a very reasonable offer as well. Overall, 5 starts with no hassle experience.

Poor communication. To a very descent email/text inquiry of mine, asking for details with specific questions, only a single voice mail was returned with zero information. No further contact. The SL550 was priced under $40K when listed and when I reached out to them but it was moved up to $43K over the course of the week that I tried to reach someone there. I think that s a very shady way of pricing cars. Anyway, poor experience and poor excuse of a car seller. I recommend staying away from these people.

Between my family and I, we bought 6 cars throughout the years. From both locations now. Before meeting Boris, it was tough buying a used car. So many dealers and not much honesty. When I bought my 1st car from Boris, I knew this would be the place for me for a long time. I remember telling him Please don t go out of business, I ll need you over and over in the future I'm glad you're still here and doing well sir! Many blessings.
