Great family business! We've been to Martinez auto tech a few times and get the best service everytime. That personal relationship that seems to be non existant in most businesses isn't absent at Martinez auto tech. Sun will give you the best advice and understands people's needs. We where referred to Martinez auto tech and are now lifetime customers.

Highly recommend this shop for car repairs!! Son and his crew are honest and care about their customers. They do Great work at a great rate. They have never tried to upsell or cut corners.

I called Dave the shop manager a day before I brought my car in. On such short notice, he and his team were able to complete a break inspection as well as a full brake job within the day. He was very professional and welcoming. My car stops good now!

Looking for a mechanic can be stressful and frustrating so when I found Martinez Auto Tech I was relieved. Very trustworthy, go above and beyond, give you great advice, affordable, and do the job right. They walk you through everything, provide accurate estimates, and call and talk to you about any additional repairs and costs that come up. They also won't proceed with any additonal repairs unless you verbally sign off and give them the ok. Truly a fantastic business! So happy I found them.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

These guys are awesome. Good honest local mechanics who will do right by you. I have taken my car here 6 or so times since I moved to the area 4 years ago and I feel blessed to know such good mechanics. Their prices are really fair and they know a lot about cars and really understand what's going on. They have helped me out so many times when my car wasn't working and there was just a simple trick to fixing it like grease on the battery connections or fiber to patch up a leaky heater core, a lot of times all I needed was advice and they wouldn't even charge me, they are great guys.

What a fantastic business and crew. I took my car in today to have my vehicle's rear shocks replaced, and when I made my appointment over the phone, I mentioned that in addition, I just needed an estimate to remove the car tint on the rear window because it was no longer clear. Well, when I arrived to pick up my Honda, Son told me he had removed the tint--over an hour's worth of work--with NO EXTRA CHARGE. What other car repair shop would do this? These guys go above and beyond in their service to their customers. I highly recommend Martinez Auto Tech to ANYONE who needs their car repaired.

Fantastic service! Martinez Auto Tech was recommended by a friend and I am very glad I followed his advice. They were able to fit me in extremely quickly and diagnose the problem. They are honest, knowledgeable, and very friendly. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to Martinez Auto Tech the next time you need service.

If you're looking for no frills auto mechanic than Martinez Auto Tech is for you. Son is a one man operation so be patient or, if you need a referral Son has been in town a long time and knows everyone.

These guys are the best in Martinez! Dont take your car anywhere else! I Highly recommend this place. Ive been taking my car to these guys for years. Never had any issues and they are honest and thorough.

Sam was great...I asked him to install my parts to my Honda Element..plugs..coil pack..and adjust valves..I would highly recommend..this company..to be able to talk to the owner..also the mechanic is very big plus.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place had great reviews and I wanted to support a local shop. My car was overheating and smoking so I took it here. They gave me a new timing cover gasket and charged me $800 to replace it. There were several days where they told me they would call me and never did, I always had to call them to see what was going on. I left and my car was jolting (RPMs going up and down). My timing was off and my car died on the way to work so I took it back, clearly a mistake they had made. They told me it had nothing to do with what they did and it was electrical and they couldn't get the car to give them any problems. (How do you know it has nothing to do with what you did if you can't duplicate the problem?) I picked it up and literally on the way home a ton of lights are flashing on my dash. Service ABS system, traction control not working, my gas light came on even though there was plenty of gas in the car, etc. (you were just driving my car around and these things didn't happen but right when I leave they do?!) I took it back again and they told me they have no idea what's wrong with it and I should take it to the dealership. Every time I leave something else is wrong with my car and when I take it back they can't fix it. I cannot stress enough that you should avoid this place at all costs!! A family friend is a mechanic and I took it to him and he noticed that they broke a clip under my hood, left several things unlatched, and caught one of the guys here in a few lies as to things he touched when working on my car! I am SO disappointed and refuse to ever recommend this place to anyone or give this place any more business.

Delightful experience! I am pretty car-savvy, and I can tell you that these guys really know their trade. Plus they are friendly and professional and their charges are very fair. Highly recommend.

This is my go to repair shop . Love these people . Honestly is thought to be rare in a mechanic . But they do great work and they're very reasonable price wise .
