My Father sold cars for 25 years and is still doing it. I have bought used cars. This dealership does not use ANY of the shady tactics that car dealerships use. Also, if you are buying a used car, get a warranty duh. I would recommend Good Sam.

Do NOT risk buying a vehicle from these dishonest people. You will end up being threatened by them once you realize you have been fooled into buying one of their doctored wrecks. You will lose all of the money you spent on the vehicle plus much more money paid out afterward for endless mechanic s bills to fix the mess. Laura Lee is not someone you can trust.

Laura lee is amazing. Almost everyone in my family has bought a car from Laura Lee. She is sweet, compassionate, and helpful. She's not your typical used car dealership trying to rip you off. She genuinely cares about getting you into a car. And in our experiences if something broke immediately after buying it she fixed it for free. Never had any issues with the cars we have bought since. Thank you Laura lee we love you!

I showed up unexpectedly without an appointment, while visiting another business. Laura Lee was there, welcomed me with a smile and helped me research different options of the best fit for me--from vehicles to custom built sheds. She spent alot of time answering questions and looking things up, and despite necessary interruptions I never felt rushed. She has always been accommodating, open, helpful, and straightforward. I have had numerous conversations with her and this is part of her nature. She's a person that I trust in Mariposa and I hope she'll always be available.

After years of saving for another used auto since my 28 yr old Isuzu truck needed a long rest, I stopped at Laura Lee's Auto. Not only did I find just exactly what I needed, but she worked with me on the price, had it registered, made some expensive repairs, and bent over backwards to provide a like-new vehicle for an ol' lady who lives out here in our boondocks. Thanks Laura & your great employee team for a wonderful experience!

I had bought 2 vehicles without a problem in the past. However, after I signed paperwork for the 2006 expedition I purchased this time, I had huge doubts as the vehicle had many bad noises and I was worried about reliability as I own my own business and don't have much help with things. Even though they had my vehicle for about 2.5 weeks after, putting band aids on all the broken items, they would not void the sale and let me out of purchasing it. Needless to say a few weeks after the truck was delivered, the AC went out again and a big banging noise started happening that I think was there the whole time. I purchased the vehicle in may of 2018 and on December 28th 2018 the transmission blew about 2 weeks after I put $800 worth of tires on it. I just purchased a brand new jeep. I will never buy from Laura again after I was shoved off, ignored, and treated the way I was.

Laura Lee works hard and dose everything she can to get the vehicle you want. Always a good experience. I've purchased several vehicles from her over the years. Great place to go if you need a vehicle.

Loved them very professional and not pushy, and honest about their cars. I had a very nice experience there. In fact I have bought a few cars from them over the last 13 years. Very pleased I highly recommend Laura Lee's Auto.

I have been selling Transmissions and Transfer cases to Laura Lee's auto sales for aprox 2 years now. Laura Lee is FANTASTIC to deal with!I am so impressed with her integrity and honesty . Update!I called the Bureau of Automotive repair in order to resolve the matter. I brought the vehicle to a Subaru specialist and they ran the codes, catalytic converter failure; they stated the vehicle had numerous oil leaks, a head seal leak, cv boot needed replacement, heat shield bolts missing, timing belt cover bolts missing, a non-oil soluble hose was used on the turbo intake and it needed a valve job. They stated that the turbo showed signs of imminent failure, the mechanic suggested I not take the vehicle on any long trips. The BAR visited Laura Lee Auto Sales and we all came to the agreement that Laura Lee Auto Sale's would replace the bolts, the hose, the cv boot and fix the issue with the head gasket. All other work would be completed at $25/hr plus parts. I drove the vehicle down from Nevada City to her lot in October and sure enough! The vehicle loses power in rush hour traffic and wont go over 25 mph, I made it to a small turn out about the width of my vehicle and waited for a tow. The tow truck driver said I didnt need to accompany him to the lot and the vehicle was delivered to Laura Lee's. Now it is December, I have spent the last two months without my vehicle, unable to make it to class some days and unable to commit to any employer because I do not have reliable transportation. I spent what little money I had in hopes that Laura Lee's Auto Sales would do the right thing. I drove it off her lot yesterday and the check engine came on once again, smoke billowing from the engine into the vehicle, smelling of burnt rubber. I brought it into my mechanic today, diagnosis? The same oil leaks as before, same head gasket issues, the only thing they did replace was the turbo and the exhaust manifold. As my mechanic put it, "replacing the turbo is just putting a bandaid on the issues, this dealership is completely incapable of repairing this vehicle properly." Laura Lee Auto Sales did not even bother to tighten bolts or replace missing bolts. The diagnosis is a complete engine rebuild because there are signs that when the turbo core failed, parts of the turbo core traveled through the entire engine. The engine rebuild is quoted at $5,000 and in their professional opinion not worth my time or money. I owe $5,000 on a vehicle I can't rely on, I make all my payments on time every month so that I have nothing to drive. Save yourself alot of heart ache and buy a vehicle anywhere then from Laura Lee Auto Sale's, this is not a proper way to do business or to treat another human being.

I test drove the 2005 Subaru Forester xt turbo at the beginning of June 2018 and there was a sound from the exhaust and the check engine light was on, Laura Lee had her mechanic diagnose the vehicle while we filled out paperwork. Laura Lee said that the head gasket was replaced on the vehicle. I put a down payment of 2,000.00 and was financed in house through Laura Lee Auto Sales for the remainder with a one month or 1,000 warranty. I was given a due bill to repair the exhaust issue and the check engine light issue. I drove the vehicle from Mariposa, CA to Sierraville, CA and I returned home to Yosemite Valley, CA where I was residing. During this trip I noticed the window stopped working and there was an exhaust smell in the vehicle as well as smoke coming from the hood scoop. I sent Laura Lee text messages regarding my complaints. I commuted to work on a bicycle in Yosemite Valley and did not drive the vehicle often in the two weeks that followed other than to drive from Yosemite Valley to Mariposa for the repairs on the exhaust and the check engine light issue. I drove the vehicle again up to Nevada City, CA and when I was returning to Yosemite Valley the vehicle broke down outside of Fresno, CA. I dropped the vehicle off with the tow truck and her father in law gave me a ride to Yosemite Valley, CA. A week later Laura Lee informed me over text message that the cv axel had broken and her mechanic had repaired it under warranty, she also stated that she fixed the window. When I picked up the vehicle I was not satisfied, there was still an intense smell of exhaust with smoke still coming from the hood scoop and the window did not work, I also noticed a knocking sound in the suspension and a loud noise when turning the wheel. I drove the vehicle back to Yosemite Valley, CA. I sent her an email informing her that I was not repaired properly and that I did not feel comfortable making anymore payments until it was running correctly, she replied that she felt "taken advantage of and that if I wasnt going to make payments to return the vehicle immediately." I told her that I wanted it to be looked at again and if there was anyway I could look at another vehicle from her lot she said that she would have her mechanic look at it but not necessarily under warranty and that I was free to look at other vehicles from her lot. I made a payment through paypal after that conversation for the entire amount. I drove the vehicle to her lot in Mariposa and her husband was there who I believe also runs the business, we went on a test drive and he told me that I didn't want the vehicle because of emotional reasons and refused to address any issues I had with the vehicle. They both informed me that this is the type of vehicle you get when you don't have credit or money. My bank had withdrawn 50.00 from my account anyway and because of this my payment bounced. Laura Lee informed me that I needed to leave the keys with her until a payment was made, I agreed. I told her I wanted another vehicle from her lot a volvo, and she informed that I would need a larger amount of money because she did not finance that vehicle in house. I told her that I did not want the vehicle anymore, and she said that I can't cancel a written contract and that she could sell it at auction and sue me for the difference. She did not offer me a ride home from her shop and I spent five hours hitchhiking to Yosemite Valley CA. After I realized that I could potentially ruin my credit and that I needed the vehicle for work opportunities in Nevada County I called her assistant and said that I wanted the vehicle back in my possession. Since then the loan on the vehicle was bought by Mid Atlantic Financial and the issues have become worse, a shop informed me that the vehicle has some sort of seal leak that could be related to the head gasket and I am hesitant to drive it at all. I do not have the funds to pay for the vehicle and also to make major repairs quoted at $600.00 or more. I would like this issue resolved respectfully either with a refund, repair or another vehicle.

Unfortunately bought a car here almost a year ago. They are dishonest, overpriced, and unhelpful. Sold us a car with an engine issue and claimed a month later that it wasn't a problem when they sold it to us. Recommended a mechanic to help us save money and he did the work entirely wrong.
