My daily commute bike was overdue for an oil change and my chain looked bad. I was thinking to go full synthetic, but wasn t sure. Emma gave well informed, and experienced advice which was reassuring. My new chain Wow! She did a complete inspection of my bike and made sure it was safe and in good running order. The ride home was a joy!!! Emma is my go to and she is the greatest!!!

Great service, she took the time to enhance with me and let me know what I needed work on. She gave me options for my tires that needed replacing. I am coming back in about 2 months for my front tire changed and a new chain for my Honda CBR. She also had reasonable hourly rate and only charged me the time that she worked on my bike

I am new to the area (military) and just purchased a bike from a local seller. I called around to a few places looking for someone to help me fit the bike to my riding style, change the oil, and give it a look over and suggest any other maintenance.After speaking to Emma I was blown away with her knowledge. She was able to fit me in same day, customized my bike to me, and got me squared away. Emma is prior service and military friendly. Moto Town is my new go to motorcycle repair spot for my duration here.Bring your bike here and you will not regret it.

I heard about Emma from the Seaside CycleGear and I m so glad I took their recommendation. Emma has a tremendous wealth of experience working on bikes and her attention to detail is incredible. Shop pricing is not just competitive but also very fair and the quality you get is top notch. 10/10, would absolutely recommend to anyone in the Monterey peninsula.

By far, it is the best experience in getting any vehicle worked on. Emma is a very knowledgeable professional who treats every bike like it were her own. I needed new tires, and she provided a great deal and answered any and all questions I had. She also said she would have the bike for an hour while replacing them, and she was right on the money. Great experience; Emma knows her stuff! I took my fun little Yamaha XT250 dual-sport in after a few years of 'deferred maintenance' and 20,000 miles of roads and trails and creeks and more. The bike seemed to want to jump out of first and second, especially on steep hills. And hard to get into first and second. I figured it was the transmission, probably a big bill. Emma kept it, rode it and then thought different. It wasn't the gear box she figured, but the symptoms lots of things going on, deferred maintenance things. The chain was stiff, the sprockets worn. So the chain jumped the sprocket in high-torque first and second. Then, the clutch badly in need of adjustment didn't allow the gear shift. And many more little things. Well, Emma applied proper engineering methods and arrived at the correct conclusion. And now the little Yamaha rides and shifts like it's nothing, like it was new again. Great job!

By far one of the best experiences I've had to get tires and brake fluid changed on my GSXR. Emma was able to work with my schedule and fit me in for an appointment in the same week. Treated the bike like it was hers and got me back on the road safely!

Emma is an honest and experienced mechanic, I would definitely recommend her shop to anyone in the 831 or surrounding areas. She did a great job on my vintage BMW after another mechanic (Scottie Sharpe BMW)did some faulty repairs and refused to make things right.

I brought in my brothers old BMW hoping to get it safe and reliable. It needed more work that the bike was worth. Emma got it running, went over the bike and put together a list that quickly exceeded the bikes value - in the end, besides her skills in making it safe, her integrity in giving sound advise. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a quality mechanic who will put your needs first. This may be a small shop, but one of the best of the best,.

Definitely the best shop in the area! Emma was incredibly responsive and the price was totally reasonable. I needed some help getting a fork cap removed and she fit me in same-day and even gave me a tuitorial so I can tackle that task in the future without nearly destroying the cap. Best motorcycle shop in Monterey! Emma is reliable, knowledgeable and doesn't believe in spending money for no reason. She will also ALWAYS recommend the right parts for your particular personal use type.I bring her my personal and race bike. I have raced in MotoGP/TTXGP, AHRMA, Bonneville, MotoWest GP and other race circuits so I am a bit picky on who I let touch my bike.There is a detail shop onsite and Emma works on electric bikes like Energicas!

You will not find a better motorcycle mechanic than Emma at Moto Town. She is the sole wrench and proprietor of her excellent bijou shop just off of Hwy 1 in Marina. Encyclopedic knowledge? Check. Efficient, quality work? Check. No B.S.? Check. Shop rate more than fair for the expertise and quality work you get with Emma.Brought my bike in for a chain and sprocket job. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. Cool bikes to look at while you wait, or sit down and chat a bit while work is done in front of you. I came down from SF just to get my bike into Moto Town and I will happily do that three hour round trip again next time I need top-notch service.

Took my Z900 in for its big service. Emma explained over the phone what I could expect the cost to be, assuring me no one would take better care of my bike than her. She was right. Bike now runs like a dream and cost was extremely reasonable. So long as she is operating, she ll be getting my bikes from now on.

Emma is an excellent and honest moto mechanic, and an all around wonderful human. She has and will work on pretty much any bike. She ll be totally transparent about the job and cost and will take great care of your dear motorcycle.Btw, if you re waiting around, there s plenty of food near by, and the beach is an easy 1/2 mile walk away. Was riding through town as part of a charity event when my bike wouldn t start. Got it to Emma and she fixed it right away so I could get back to working the event. Just an amazing person and I can t recommend her enough. Please consider taking your business to Moto Town if you can.
