Ive been coming here for over 10 years and my recent visit will be my last time im coming back. I got my vehicle back with a huge dent in the back. About a 2 feet wide dent and a half foot dent in!!!! They parked my car backwards to hide their mistake. What a huge disappointment! I cant believe their negligence and unprofessionalism. No one addressed it or anything. Big thumbs down for them!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!On a trip to Big Sur from San Francisco, my car unexpectedly overheated. Thankfully, I found Jo and Danny who triaged the problem, and fixed her up. I highly highly recommend this business.Thank you again!!

Just popped in with low pressure as I was trying to leave town on a roadtrip. Spotted a nail, it was very close to ruining my day. Marina Tire to the rescue. I was in and out in about 30 minutes, they actually found 2 nails. Fixed. Roadtrip saved. Thank you, guys!

What an amazing shop they run. I was freaking out with a flat tire and my son in the car. They not only were able to help me out but they even prioritized my vehicle to get my tire patched quickly so my son could get back home ASAP. They were so friendly, courteous and helpful and to top it all off the price was more than fair! I ll be swapping over to these folks for all my future oil changes.

I was in Marina del Rey on a trip. I needed to replace tires and get an oil change, etc. I spoke to Rick & explained that I was driving back to Illinois in a few days with my daughter. He was so awesome. I dropped off my car at about 8:30 am and it was done right around 1pm. He charged a very fair price (better than I could get at home!). I just wish I could bring him and his business home for dependable and affordable car care.Definitely a 10/10!Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I took my tire in to fix a flat. They suggested it was no longer repairable and that I get a new one. I went ahead and bought two new tires. I left to get lunch while they fixed it. The next day I noticed one of my other tires now had a gash. Upon reviewing it I noticed it was a completely different tire than the other pair. I'm assuming they switched it with an older tire to try and get me to go back and get more of my money! Terrible business!Service: Tires

Fantastic place and wonderful staff. Thank you !!! Called from our hotel parking lot after discovering a partially flat tire of the morning we were to leave with our grandchildren for home. Called marina tire and auto . They said they could look at. When we arrived the had a bay cleared and had it repaired and back on the road on 30 min . Extremely competent and friendly staff at the front desk and in the the shop. Definitely recommend them.Service: Tires

The staff were very accommodating towards the end of the day for a tire issue and went out of their way to ensure I was able to drive away safely. They even helped arrange alternative transportation(which I ended up not needing because they were so efficient!). Highly competent and friendly staff, they really saved the day and I d come back anytime for future tire issues! THANK YOU!

Called on Monday morning to see if a flat could be replaced plus purchasing an additional tire. Had tires in stock and could fit the service in before noon! Price was within expected which was a bonus. Had the tires replaced and positioned exactly as requested in less than an hour! Definitely a keeper!!

Amazing customer service & kind workers with honest opinions and great environment to be around. Recently got my brakes , rotors, and calipers done and they ordered the parts and got it done the next morning and my car was better than ever definitely coming back everytime! Mister Danny and his lovely family and staff are the greatest of people. Up until a year and a half ago I was a homeless Iraq combat veteran.I had just got my own place in Marina. However some time ago my vehicle i bought with my Dads life insurance was impounded and due to the substantial amount of money impound lots charge you per day, I was unable to afford to wrench said vehicle free from the tow company's tyrannical, evil grasp. Though this tow company promised myself and the VA that they would hold my 50k Toyota Tacoma, they sold it within 45-days and lied when we would call every week inquiring about it.The vehicle was paid off as I bought it outright like I mentioned with the money from my dads estate. While traveling from Northern California down to Central California my car broke down. The local auto store and the tow company both highly recommended Marina Tire & Auto repair.Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, professional and took me in right away. A quick diagnosis identified the problem. Got me back on the road as quickly as possible.I highly recommend Marina Tire & Auto repair for all your automotive repairs. If I lived closer I would use them as my go mechanic shop for maintenance and servicing. -Kerwin

2018 Hyundai Elantra with check engine light and corrosion on battery cables. Bring it in, they said, but later the owner said the codes are "undocumented." Instead of trying to figure out why their code reader doesn't work ("It's not OUR car," she said), she told us to take the car to a dealer. But!! Outside, the mechanic who read the codes said he knows exactly what they are and that he'd written them down. He offered to get those code notes, but came back outside and told us the owner threw his notes into the trash yesterday.

This is the most honest repair shop I have ever experienced. Dan and his staff/family are a very honest, polite, and efficient people. I have had an alternator replacement and most recently spark plugs and ignition coil replacement. He gave me an accurate estimate and was very efficient with his work. These guys are great! I got a screw in my tire a few hours before I was scheduled to drive out of town for a trip. They got me in and patched my tire in less than 20 mins so I could leave on time and ordered me new tires. Tires and service were excellent and they charged less than a dozen other places I called for quotes. I will come back here everytime I need service.

They don't include the price of labor in their quotes, when I say I don't have a specific type of tire I want to put on my car they put some of the most expensive tires on the over 20 year old sad beater car I own, they told me the oil change would be included and it was not included. They didn't even go over everything when they dropped the car off. This place ripped me off. Idk why my wife went here but we're not coming back. On the quote, it should say that these prices do not include labor. If all they have is crazy expensive tires, they should call and ask if we're all right putting those on the car. If y'all have to charge for something on an oil change but part of it is free, they should tell customers that. It's just a shady business all around.

We are on vacation and hundreds of miles away from home. Our caliper sized up. Brought our car here first thing in the morning and it was done 2 hours later! So thankful for this business and so grateful for them. Highly recommend this business!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I have used their services several times over the last couple of years. Great work, reasonable prices and they have always got the job done on the same day. I have had starters replaced, Alternators, Water pumps...you name it. I also like that fact that they don't argue with the customer, often I already know what the problem is and just ask them what the repair cost are, and they tell me and every time their prices are lower than my own estimate of how much the work should cost and that is a hard quality to find in a repair shop. One time I realized I had a brake light out and the guy went in back and got me a free bulb and I changed it on the spot to avoid a fix it ticket. Edit, well it is 6 years later and I still rate them a 5 star.

Marina Tire is a locally owned, family business run by Dan, his wife Jo and their daughter. Their customer service is excellent and their prices are competitive. They have a comfortable and clean waiting area and their service is prompt. Whenever I go in they remember my name and greet me with a hello as I walk through the door. I've gotten tires for my Jeep, my wife's car and my son has gotten his tires there too. I highly recommend doing business with Marina Tire.

The best tire and auto repair I have been to so far in the area. Dan is a really professional person who would provide you with the best experience. These people know what they are doing, are trust worthy and they are of the type that "works silently with their success making the noise". I just wish I knew of them earlier. Anyway, this place will always be a go-to place for me for car maintenance.

Lived in marina for 12 years, and have brought my vehicles to Tommys since the first oil change when i moved in. Tommy runs his business with care. The service done on my vehicles is always correct, done with a fair and reasonable price and on time. Tires, brakes, oil changes. This is my go to spot. I recommend for everyone.

Dan the service guy there was awesome! He is honest and provided a professional service. He'll answer and explain any question or concern you may have. I've shopped around other shops and they want to charge an arm and a leg just to check your car. Truly the most dependable, honest, competent, as well as affordable garage on the Monterey Peninsula. Had my transmission serviced there and the estimate was exact to the penny when the job was done. Call and ask for Danny. He s very friendly and goes out of his way for you. Very satisfied!
