I was in a minor car accident and needed my car to be repaired. Marina Auto Body had an opening within 3 to 5 days. I brought the car in and they did a quick 10 minute preliminary inspection. They rode up a preliminary estimate and sent it to the insurance company. My car was still drivable, so I kept it for another week or so and then dropped it off at Marina Auto Body for a repair. They arranged for Enterprise car rental to pick me up from the body shop and take me to the car rental place. They fixed my vehicle and, as far as I can tell, there are no issues with it.However, their communication was lacking. They did not contact me a single time over the 45-day repair period to update me on the progress, except for the final day when they called me to tell me the car was ready to be picked up. This was despite me having called multiple times and asking them to give me updates every once in a while. I think they even told me once or twice that they would call me, but they never did.

Marina Auto Body was GREAT! Norm Larson made it so easy to understand the process and to took care of the coordination with the insurance . He kept me informed. I was very pleased with the work they did on the car. I highly recommend Marina Auto Body

Excellent work!! I couldn't be more satisfied with the work done at Marina Auto body. The repair looks amaizing, the car is clean inside and out, the work was done quickly. If your car needs body work done, this is the place to go.

I had a great experience at Marina Auto Body. I had been hit and my car had both body and suspension damage. The electronics were freaking out. The estimate and claim settlement happened in days. It took about a month to repair, but they kept me up to date all the way. When you call, they answer the phone right away.

I like it so much I took the time to write a review. Their place in Marina del Rey is clean and organized, customer service is good and friendly. They kept me up to date and returned the car to me earlier. The work done was perfect and they even washed my car. I already recommended to my wife and a friend.

Service recovery. I was concerned about how long it was taking to get the part because of the cost of the rental car while my car was in the shop I needed the cost of the total accident to stay under a certain limit so my insurance would not raise my rates. I spoke to Juan at the repair shop about my concern and he helped expedite my repair. I was completely satisfied at the end.Note: If your car needs a part, wait until the part is in before dropping off your car for the repair.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This was the recommended facility by Mercury Insurance to repair my car. Have tried contacting them for a week, via email and phone calls, no one ever picked up the phone, or replied to email messages. Mercury insurance tried contacting them as well, to no avail.Mercury ended up asking me to take my car to a body shop of my choice, since they were irresponsive. I am not a fan of leaving reviews such as these, but not even a call back or reply even over a month later?I'm glad Mercury gave me another choice.

Excellent personal service in every way! Easy Accommodating your schedule. The entire service from telephone appt to the final completed pick up of my car was superior in every way. They re knowledgeable, cordial & patient in explaining the car repair needs & process. They arranged all details w my insurance & arranged confirmation of my rental car. Easy rental car pick up & return at the office.I recommend to all for efficient, excellent, professional service and fair repair costs. My car was finished looking better than before my accident!

A 40+ year old business should not be considered a "best kept secret" because it is no secret that this is one of the best body shops in Southern California. The work they perform is outstanding and the level of customer service between owner and staff is simply exceptional. They go above and beyond any others and I cannot think of enough superlatives to accurately describe my experiences over the years.

So impressed and thankful to all the folks at Marina who helped fix my car up after I got into my first fender bender, a few days after moving to LA. Matt, Christy, Steve & Juan were all great to work with, kept me updated on the progress and made the whole process seamless. Would recommend them again anytime!

Thank you guys for the great job that you did! You re true professionals. I am impressed. I received updates all the time - where my car is, what job was performed, when my car will be ready and more. Staff is very friendly and always ready to help and answer questions.My car is like new now. No one can say where the whole was.This body shop was recommended by my insurance company but I will recommend it to all of my friends. Thank you!

I ve been to this location for first time. Before I took my car to the previous location. Their price is responsible and their job is very clean. That s why I toke my car to Marina Auto Body. Fernando had my case. He did great and he gave me back the car quickly with perfect job. I recommend this place in this area.

My car looks brand new. It s rather spectacular. Marina Auto Body called me with updates. They told me a few times that it would be ready the next day and it wasn t, but it was finished earlier than they d anticipated, and they rented me a car for just the last few days, which was great. Very responsive when I called. Always called me back immediately if I wasn t able to reach the most knowledgeable person. The front desk woman at the Marina Del Rey location could be friendlier but that is a small issue.

The only reason this isn't a 5 star, is that the repair center and the processing center in Marina often do not talk to each other to have the complete story about your vehicle, so you may get a call from the repair center giving you information, but when calling back you get the processing center who has no idea what the mechanical status is.Otherwise, the work they do is excellent. And they are super friendly!

I was recently in a car accident and this was the auto body shop that my insurance company wanted me to go to for the estimate of damages. My car ultimately was a total loss and the process was an emotional but both Christy and Matthew were both so professional and kind. It really helped make this process a lot easier to deal with.

These guys are awesome. Got in a accident last night. Truck was still drivable but tire was rubbing on bumper slightly. While I m waiting for my insurance adjuster to call these guys with a little ingienuety were able to pull my bumper out enough so it doesn t rub, just to help me get back to work. Staff went above and beyond. Definetly be bringing my truck back when the insurance adjuster calls.

I don't have too much prior knowledge about car and AutoCheck listed a structural damage on my car's history report. The staff there checked on my car and assured me that the structural damage listed is not serious. They did not charge me any money or suggested expensive repairs. I will go there again next time and recommend this place wholeheartedly.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! If I could zero stars I would. No communication what was happening with my car. I had to chase them for info. They said 1 week to fix my car. They then on Friday morning they just had to wash it. Friday evening rolls around, no call back, and I m out a car through the weekend. Monday morning I call and they said they needed to order more parts and I ll get my car on Tuesday. Tuesday rolls around and there s a broken headlamp now they need to fix and they order another one for me but it will be EOD when they have it. No communication. Thursday at 4:30 PM they finally call back and said I have an hour to drop what I m doing and get to their shop to pick up my car before they close. STAY AWAY from this company.

I recently has my Toyota Prius serviced and body work done. One item came loose so I returned and was quickly assisted and it was fixed in a few hours. I would especially like to commend Matt Pensabene who assisted me and took care of this in a very timely manner so that I could drive out in a few hours. The entire staff at the Marina del Rey office are very friendly and helpful. Another bonus for me was speaking with the owner Tom and found that we were both Trojans as I grew up with my entire family attending USC and one is a Trojan forever. FIGHTON
