Did great work on my car but damaged my screen on my computer dash. The man who checked me out and took my money laughed and told me if I didn't have a picture of it before I took it in that they were not responsible. Horrible customer service. I will never recommend anyone go their shop.

Took my vehicle in for check engine lights and stalling issues. They cleared the codes for the check engine light and the light came back on about 30 miles after driving the truck. The stalling still occurs and I'm $500 dollars. All-in-all I wouldn't recommend or return for services. I also contacted the shop and they didn't respond to my inquires as there is a different reading for the mileage of the vehicle on their receipt than my actual dash board. :(

2004 mini Cooper S brg aka Koopa Troopa... Had been the thorn in my side for months. Countless repairs to clear code P2096 after the fuel pump went out... And was also replaced. Some of the repairs were probably overdue so that's ok but still the code would get cleared and reappear!Ugh. So much time and energy over this code.Within one min of the long story I was about to tell... the nice woman at the front had already diagnosed and practically fixed Koopa.She cleared the code and test drove. Under five min... Should have come in sooner.So many thanks!

My husband and I went there for a car check yesterday. This family owned business are super nice and honest. They gave us all the information we need and did what our car really need to repair. Strongly recommend it!

My Chevy 1500 broke down on the side of the freeway about noon last month. My fuel pump went out. I had it towed to Main Auto and they had it ready by noon the next day. They are a bit expensive, but honest and high quality work. I have lived in Manteca for over 25 years, believe me when I say they are the best in town.

Brent and his wife are very helpful and give me all the information I need. Their rates are reasonable and I have complete confidence in the quality of the work performed. I don't go anywhere else unless I need something they don't do.

Took my vehicle in for a check engine lite problem. They located and repaired the problem in no time and saved me $400 that the dealer quoted. I saved so much that I had them do a oil change and tire rotation all completed in. 1 day. Family owned and operated and if you are looking for a repair shop THIS IS THE ONE!!. Thank you to Angie and Brett for such personalized service. Keep up the good work. I will definately be returning.

Had my alternator replaced on my Lancer here. They did such a good job. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Everything was done in such good timing as well. I will definitely be coming back if my car needs maintenance.

Poor professionalism. Left my car at 9am as they requested. No call to let me know what was going on, so I call at 4:30 bf they closed at5. Rude person indicated he needed it a couple more days to check it out. I ask" did u at least put it on the rack. It seem to be a simple a/c problem". At that point he said angrily"Come pick your car up I'm trying to eat lunch" Said the same thing when I got there while he was eating a bag of chips. Took my car promptly to Manteca Ford who fixed the job in 2 hrs I'll never go back to Main Auto Repair again.

In for a belt check and oil change, out within 30 minutes with the name of a reputable exhaust shop. Brent, Angie, and John are a wonderful team, and I look forward to many happy return visits.

Awesome customer service! The main mechanic there knows what he's talking about (he taught me a few tricks that my car could do that I had no idea about like holding the key turned in the cylinder to lower the windows And common issues regarding my particular year of vehicle).

I Met Brent & Angie late 2012 when I started working for a Local Tow Co. in Manteca. Family owned & ran. Community supported Brent has earned more than my business. He's earned my trust & respect. Unfortunately I moved to Stockton & being a Tow Op. Getting my Hondad to him really hasn't been a problem however wish I still lived localBeing lifelong Automotive Industry Worker. NOT many mechanics or shops have earned my trust & respect.Thank You Brent & Angie. Be seeing you soon. Pretty sure current problem with 2000 Accord is Speed sensorCheck Engine light went out again so no way to get true code from computer until comes on again.

Did not even get to talk to a mechanic, lady in front was rude and obnoxious. Did not know what she was talking about.. taking my business elsewhere! She definitely needs better costumer service skills and/or training!

Called in for a quote today for ac repair. I asked for two quotes. The man on the phone actually told me "That's too much work"!! Definitely lost my business!!! I wish I could give 0 stars!!!

This is where I take my cars (Subaru Forester, Toyota Highlander and BMW X5) for periodic maintenance and major repairs. Service is always great and charges are always reasonable.
