Friendly small town service and quality work.I travel for work and have 1 vehicle. Finding a trustworthy shop and the process of getting my truck in for maintenance is not always easy. Working with D&S was as smooth as possible and i was given accurate quotes along the way. Not surprises, just good business. 100% would do business with again. Thank you

I was on a road trip with my wife when we had a power steering pump go out on our diesel truck which we were pulling our 5th wheel with. I contacted Tom with our problem and asked if he would be able to do the job quickly. He replied with he would do his best to get us back on the road ASAP. He performed the repair ahead of schedule which was pleasing to us. Nearly 1.5 years later we had we had the pump go out again. We contacted Tom to ask some questions for our mechanic when he informed us of the lifetime warranty on the part and that he would be happy to arrange for a refund on the part and also on the labor. This was not expected but was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Tom and D&S automotive of Manteca. They do great work and are honestly great people to do business with. Our new "go to" auto repair shop place to take our cars to. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The owner Tom is honest and great in explaining the details of what needed to be done. His prices are reasonable. Didn't feel ripped off like many other places we've taken our cars to. Took my daughters car in right when they opened and he had it done in just a few hours. Tom is fantastic, honest, and efficient. I will never take my cars anywhere else as long as we live in the area. He s fixed my van for 3 different issues and is always very thorough about ensuring what the problem is so that I am not paying for unnecessary work. He also fixed an issue in my husband s car within 24 hours that had been giving us trouble for years. He goes above and beyond and has always done a fantastic job at an extremely fair price. He explains very clearly what the issues can be or are which is greatly appreciated for someone who doesn t understand car lingo very well. I appreciate the excellent customer service each time we have our vehicles serviced here, the price, and the overall job well done on fixing all issues and even addressing which potential issues can be resolved at a later time instead of pressuring me to pay for a service I wasn t expecting. I have yet to find another company give me a better quote on a repair job than d & s.

Wanted to make sure everyone knows that if you bring your vehicle to Tom at D&S, you will be well taken care of! He's done work for us the past fixing a broken door lock. But yesterday we were nearby when our Sequoia had a blowout (for all Toyota owners, please replace those OEM dunlop AT20's ASAP, found out prone to blowouts). I called Tom and he told me to come on by, they had us fixed up in 10 mins and on the road again.Incredible customer service! Will be coming back for sure! I'm going to just start at 5 stars. Mom had sworn by his work for over a decade. That says a lot to me. So I recently handed over my 2002 Silverado for a look at some minor engine issues. I'll update my rating when I know where things are at.

Had my Jeep taken in a couple months back for a loud clicking sound from the engine. I thought the worst and believed it might of been my engine, luckily he diagnosed the problem and found it was just a power steering pump. He had my car ready the very next day and the cost of the repair with new parts was really good. I will definitely feel comfortable taking my vehicle back to him anytime!

Tom is a man of his word. Worked on my GMC Acadia a car that is notorious for power steering problems. Honest and the pricing is inline. Give him a try.

In this day and age you have to have a guy. Tom at D&S is my guy for anything automotive. I go to him first for anything and everything. If he doesn't do the thing himself he knows who to recommend.

Very nice guy horrible repair never again my car came back worst then when I took it in my cup holder was broken there was pieces missing to my interior of the car that were there before and charged for parts that he didn t even change or need very unhappy customer
