Tried to scam me into new brakes when the second opinion I received indicated I had 60% left on the brakes. Won't be going back here again, even for oil changes.Thank you for your response. I have since had it verified that the rear brakes are at 6mm, by two different parties. As I said before, I believe you are doing a disservice to your clients by not explaining the service to them and trying to get them to replace parts before they need replacing.

Been having my car serviced here for the life of the car thus far. I ve always received friendly service, and the staff usually do a good job being up-front with costs as long as you go in knowing what is recommended. They do occasionally suggest optional service on top, but they state that it isn t necessarily required and give the option to opt out.

Of all the dealer service centers I have visited, MB Toyota has to be the best one. Not only are the advisors honest and friendly, they are responsive and willing to help you in any way they can. Their service center also has a hot drinks machine (coffee, hot chocolate, lattes, etc) and multiple vending machines. Wait times may be high but they have been swamped recently and this is understandable. Will definitely be returning to this center for routine maintenance.

We are from out of state and had an accident. We needed to get back on the road as soon as possible. Jeff Willet, Service Director and Aaliyah, Service Advisor were efficient, caring and all around awesome. They got our vehicle in immediately and within in a few hours they had it diagnosed and parts ordered. They also were able to get a rental car for us. They worked to get it fixed and back on the road within 48 hours. The damage was extensive left suspension with a lot of parts needing to be replaced as our left side wheel was leaning the wrong way. Thank you to Jeff, Aaliyah and all the staff at Manhattan Beach Toyota.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Steering & suspension replacement, Wheel alignment

Fantastic Large seating area. Connected to a small yet very impressive accessories center. Wonderful Latte Machine. Very busy. All services completed in 3 hours. No more car wash with service .

Cristian Ramirez was very nice and helpful! All the other staff seemed very pleasant too. The waiting lounge was super clean with a nice coffee machine. Vending machines are also available. I was very pleased.

I think the best testament of customer service is when things go wrong and the reaction the company/ employees have. There was a mix of a technical issue and miscommunication / understanding that wasn't really a single person's fault but more dominoes that fell. The result was that I got a service significantly more expensive than what my appointment was made for. After reviewing everything, I put together the pieces and noticed the expanded service wasn't the service I signed up for and my original appointment never made it over to the front facing employees so the front facing employees did the next full service instead of my original service selected. I brought this up and they made it right by honoring the cost of what I originally made the service for. (And for bad actors out there don't try to simulate this to happen in your benefit. It won't work. There were multiple things that showed this was a mistake and the technical issue as far as I understand has been resolved) Yes things went wrong which no matter what company you go to will sometimes happen, but they made it right and that is the part that matters.

Absolutely the worst service. The first time they dropped something in my car and chipped paint in 2 places after taking 8 hours to do an oil change. The second time, it took 3 days to diagnose my Supra sensor error only to tell me that I'd have to be responsible for $1000 just to remove the bumper and look at my sensor which should all be covered under warranty. There's absolutely no physical damage that would ever cause any sensor to move, however "the computer shows the sensor angle is off but if it's not off then you don't have to pay the $1000 and it's under warranty". So basically I have to gamble $1000 and at the end of the day whether the sensor moved or didn't move, there's nothing I could have done or any evidence showing anything could have been done to move the sensor, however I'd be charged for it AND the insanely exorbitant price to remove the bumper and check. Absolutely pathetic experience from start to finish. Toyota processes are absolute trash and this dealership is absolute trash for being above and beyond worse than the Toyota processes call for. "This is what Toyota tells us to do" so not only is the brand one that I'll absolutely never support again, but the dealership has not only been absolutely unhelpful, but got beyond that to make the experience even worse than it needed to be. Apparently it's also standard practice to leave my freshly detailed car outside in the rain and then return it dirty. They have an excuse for everything and deflect responsibility every chance they get. Avoid these people.

I love the dealership experience. Having your newer vehicle maintained on schedule takes the headache of wondering if your car is operating properly. Toyota is a trusted brand. We will continue to patronize this establishment.

I went in for a oil change for my vehicle (out of state) and Carl was super attentive and caring he takes great care of customers plus he managed to fix a recall service at the same time for the vehicle . Take your car here at Manhattan Beach Toyota dealer- excellent customer service- clean waiting area- screens ( show what car is. being seviced at the time )- bilingual workers- fast service

Never again will I trust this service department. During an inspection in February 2021 a service rep I had never before seen told me that my engine oil was leaking and the repair estimate was just shy of $5000. Guess what? My car's oil is NOT leaking, never was. I've been monitoring the oil for the past six months now, and not a drop has spilled on my garage floor, nor has the oil on the dipstick changed. Beware of con men recommending unnecessary work!

I was asked to return 1 month after a routine service visit to replace a second tire, they didn't fix initially, something to do with paperwork. I returned. They said the tire was fine. A huge waste of my time. I have had to fight for every repair of my tires, several nails, one time going back 3 times and waiting over 8 hours total on various the return visits, outside scheduled maintenance appts. I have the extended warranty covering tires. One time they put my spare on (small tire) and put my full size in the back of my car (it didn't fit in the spare tire space). What a joke! It is not their fault I have had nails. How they chose to NOT fix my problem has been ridiculous and unacceptable. Their B.S. reasons and trying to save their bottom line has put my life and others at risk and cost them a future customer!

This was my first time at Manhattan Beach Toyota, customer service was really good, I was lost for a few minutes but I asked someone where parts department was and ones I was point to the right direction everything was fine.I do think Manhattan Beach Toyota has to have a better system to let customers know where each department is. Other than that they everything was good.

There was a $15 discrepancy between the price quoted and confirmed over the phone versus what is charged in the service department. When I called to make the appointment, I was told it would be $44.95 and when I arrived I was told it would be $59.95. The advisor corrected it for this appointment, but said that any future visits would be at the higher price. (The only reason this review is 2-star and not 1-star)From arrival to departure was 2 hours for an oil change, with appointment. Other Toyota Dealerships have provided the same service in half the time with a free car wash.At the end of my visit, I was not provided with any details about the multi-point inspection, but simply an itemized list. When I probed for details, I was told everything was on the last page, which was just an itemized price list of what different services would cost. Either the service advisor did not have the knowledge to provide more detail or he just didn't care. Either way, I will not be going back to this Toyota for service.

They got me a same day appointment took my expired coupon and a different random garage was ready to do work on my car that Toyota said shouldn't be done for $100,000 miles I knew that I should just be taking my car to the dealership even if it's more but it wasn't.
