Great customer service and staff! I had a minor issue with my Volvo. It was showing a message about engine coolant fluid being low. So I called them to request an appointment. They asked me to bring it in, and they added coolant. The manager was very helpful and the mechanic who took care of the issue was courteous. Afterwards, when I was going to pay, they didn't want to take any money since they were able to fix the issue very quickly. Service that is very much appreciated!

Been going here for a while off and on over the years when my BMWs were out of warranty. Today they tried to convince me I needed new brake pads which they replaced 6 months ago. They had forgotten. In the past, they ve suggested things that were questionable but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.I feel once a mechanic breaks your trust, there s no going back. It s unfortunate because I live so close to this one.

I've been going to this shop for the past 8 years. Took my car in for service, ran better before I took it in. I had an oil change, air conditioning service and casket fixed. Picked up my car and it was running badly. Took it back and took a ride with one of the guys from the front office. He said, we need to add transmission fluid. Waited for an hour..the mechanic took it for a drive. They said that it was ready. I drove and it was doing the same thing. I had to leave it there for an additional 3 days, they had already had it for 3 days. I was given a loaner car that was on empty, the gas light was on. The car drives better but still drives a little rough under a certain speed. This was once my go to spot, don't think I will ever go there again. They had always done great work. It was the first time they did a transmission service, I would not recommend them for this service. I went back and forth thinking about rating them, I had to be honest. No happy for the first time!

If you drive a mercedes this is where you need to take it to get serviced! Honest mechanics that stand by their work. I purchased a car that Dynamic Performance had been servicing for many years and couldn't be happier with the experience. They were upfront, honest and fair when I was purchasing the car and even fixed a few issues that were not their fault when I noticed them a few day after I made the purchase. Now I have a great car that has been very well taken care of and a great shop I can trust in the LA area. Highly recommended!!

These guys are a welcome relief from the predatory practices at most dealerships. They are all factory trained and have long experience working in the dealership shops, so they are all factory trained.They won t push repairs you don t need.They do the work required and do it right.I have been taking my car here for a few years and won t go back to the dealerships unless I have a recall or something else forces me to go to the dealership.Services: Transmission, Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Transmission repair, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Great service and great prices. Ken's a very nice and friendly owner who's very honest and will always let you know what you really need and what can wait a little longer to have taken care of.I usually get my work done by Ben who always does a great job and is one of the most qualified Mercedes technicians in the country. I've trusted these guys with many high-end Benz's and always been very pleased.They can solve problems other guys can't and I've found their prices to be about half that of Mercedes Benz of Southbay whenever I've had repairs bid out

Went in for a quote today, got help from Ben. Was the most knowledgeable mechanic I've met as far as what was causing issues and how to get them fixed. Knew about every recall and issue at every number of miles on my specific year 335i BMW. Keep in mind I've been to 10 different dealerships and aftermarket shops over the life I've owned BMWs. Pricing was straight forward and he only recommended what was needed. Also specialize in Mercedes which had a lot of customers coming them for. Highly recommend them if you have things that need to be taken care of!

I m overall dissatisfied with my experience with Dynamic Performance/MBZ best. Initially I brought my BMW X5 in for a check engine light relating to a cord sensor with the passenger airbag should ve been an easy fix.After diagnosing my vehicle, I received an estimate for recommended repairs for ~$7,500. My vehicle was driving fine so I asked for only the absolutely necessary repairs to keep me driving. DP recommended a repair estimate that included hoses, coolant, leaks and steering coupling totaling $4,500. DP told me my vehicle would be repaired and ready within 2-3 days.3 days pass, no updates of any kind from DP. I called and was told worse case my vehicle would be ready in another 3 days. 3 additional days pass, still no update. I call again and this time I m told they re waiting on a part and that part should be in within two days. Two more days pass, no update. At this point, I physically stop by DP to inquire, and was told they guarantee the part will be in any day now. I ask for absolute worse case, DP says no more than 4 additional days. 5 more days pass, no update. This time I call, was told the person (Richard) familiar with my status was out and to call back the next day. I was also told that the person I was speaking to (Mike) wasn t in the office and therefore didn t have my paperwork. I asked if I stored the number incorrectly or if the DP number was forwarded to a cell phone as the number I dialed is listed under DP. After about 5 seconds of silence, Mike admitted he was actually in the office but didn t feel like going to retrieve my paperwork as he was doing about three different jobs at the same time. At that point, I press for a status and after more stammering, I insist my vehicle is reassembled, ready for my pickup the next day. I was also offered and promised a rental vehicle since DP had my vehicle for so long. I never received the rental vehicle nor an update on the rental vehicle. The owner (Mike) literally told/explained to me how the industry doesn t like to be upfront and take accountability for mishaps and how he just plays the game the same way.I also mentioned to Mike how I had to personally call, track down or visit his facility for an update and was told they were basically too busy to personally provide me updates. Unacceptable to say the least I ve witnessed Mike on several occasions watching TV on his phone. Mike was a friendly enough guy, but his and his staff s customer service was downright horrible. It ll be interesting to see if DP responds to this review. If they respond, I anticipate the canned response of we appreciate your feedback and are disappointed we didn t meet your expectations blah, blah. Considering all, I expected DP to compensate me by reducing the total price for my troubles. Wait, actually Mike did state he d take care of me when the final bill arrived by knocking the total price down for your troubles but instead didn t reduce the bill one cent. Poor customer service, and bait and switch tactic is what I felt. I was without my vehicle for over two weeks when I initially promised 2-3 days. The delay was due to an undisciplined process, lack of accountability and poor customer service. I ll shop elsewhere for future repairs.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

Spent over $2000.00 on my brakes... felt taken advantage of and not valued as a customer. I have worked in Manhattan Beach for over 15 yrs and decided to give these guy a try. Was beyond disappointed when they couldn t accommodate me to reset my tire sensor after I had left their premises. I called several times to have this issue checked and they said they didn t have time for them to check the issue....But to bring it in first thing in the am of which I couldn t because I am a nurse and my hours are extremely long and over charged me way more than the actual dealership.... perhaps because I am a female and don t know the difference...these guys were Extremely rude and unprofessional.Service: Brakes

My MBZ R350 is always in good hands at Dynamic Performance. They don't over charge for their services...that's a great thing in this economy. I truly appreciate the day that I accidentally found their location. I actually got lost and was trying to locate the Mercedes Dealer auto repair shop. So glad I did not find them. Keep up the great work. I will definitely recommend this service center to my friends and family.

If you are an owner of a MBZ Dynamic Performance in Manhattan Beach is where to take your car for service. Simply a no nonsense repair business offering great service at the best price for your car. There is no competition from other service providers as they can offer the best service at the best price ever. DP will surprise you that they simply do what they do at great service prices. For your next service on your car. Take your MBZ to DP you will not be disappointed. Hey, if you do not have a MBZ, but instead a Lexus, BMW or Mini Cooper this is your place. You will not be disappointed. Expect the best and this is what will be served to you.

Great service and skilled technicians!!! I drive from Santa Monica because Dynamic Performance does better work then the Simonson Mercedes dealership at half the price.

X3 the RETAIL cost on parts when they are paying wholesale prices... of course this is why they don't let the customer buy the parts elsewhere. With a 300% markup on parts I wonder why they have to charge so much for labor...great shop here
