This place is hands-down, one of the best auto mechanic in Southern California. I called because my vehicle was leaking antifreeze. Ken, the owner told me I can bring it in and he might be able to just take a look at it but wouldn t be able to work on it because he was so busy. I pulled into a packed parking lot. Had a conversation with Ken, and in minutes him and his team found the issue, ordered the parts. I had my vehicle back in six hours. Craftsmenship is excellent along with their upbeat attitudes. Hands-down the nicest people I ve ran into out here in Southern California.. I would recommend anybody that owns a German built vehicle to take it here. Definitely will not be disappointed.Service: Auto maintenance

Kenny the owner is SUCH a good guy. Very blunt and to the point which is EXACTLY what you want in a mechanic. You can tell he loves what he does and still has such a passion to help people. He s making sure his employees are taken care of even after he s gone! He s got a great sense of humor too! Amazing human and would be happy to meet him as a friend outside of the professional environment. You ll be taken care of here and get a honest guidance which is rare in this field.

I always have a great experience when I take one of my cars in for service at this shop. Ken and his team of qualified technicians have always treated me right and perform excellent work. I have taken my Porsche and BMW in for service and I'm always told what needs to be done to properly maintain my cars as well as fix any problems that I have ever had. The prices are reasonable and they treat my money as if it were their own. They will not do unneeded service just to ring up a big bill. Ken and his team have all the diagnostic tools available and use only the right part for the job. I would trust these guys with any car that I own.

I am so grateful for Ken and Auto Werkstatt. I went because another neighboring repair place told me I needed to replace my entire radiator because of a sensor and it would be $1600 and something sounded off. I took my car back and called Ken and I am SOOOO glad I did. Without requiring my business he helped me. He informed me that my car may be eligible for a recall and I could get the radiator fixed by BMW for free. He even looked into it for me and found out it was true!!! He also arranged my appointment with BMW so all I had to do was drop it off. It was FREE. Then I took my car in to Ken for maintenance and he did an excellent job getting my car done thoroughly and quickly. He is a very honest man, his technicians are very talented and on top of that his prices are very competitive. Thank you Ken and Auto Werkstatt!!!

Kenny and the rest of the shop are great. I ve taken my BMW there for regular service for almost 2 years now without any issues. Was compelled to write a review however, because I had some performance upgrades done on the car at another shop in SoCal. I had some issues with the parts after install and the shop that did them gave me the runaround saying there were no issues that they could see and they kept my car for almost a week without anything being done. I get fed up and got my car back and took it straight to Kenny. He diagnosed the issue almost immediately and had my car back in just a little over a day.ALSO, while he was looking at the car he noticed another issue in the suspension that the other shop had never mentioned and was able to fix that for me as well. Highly recommend Auto Werkstatt.

Ken is the most professional mechanic I had ever met, he is very professional and most of all very honest.He goes above and beyond to help you with any concerns you have.I truly recommend him , you will be very happy with his services.I considered my self very lucky for having him around and trusting him with my car.

I've been taking my BMWs to Kenny at Auto Werkstatt for over 8 years. His shop is always busy, and for good reason. He is super knowledgeable and honest. It's definitely worth the wait and/or inconvenience if you care about your car. Out of all the times I've taken my cars to him, he has only found issues that truly needed repair less than half the time. He is very generous with his diagnosis, but will never sell you something you don't need!

Ken runs a fantastic garage. I've only ever brought my BMW to Auto Werkstatt and will continue to do so as long as I live on the Westside. Kenny and August are great! I brought my three cars there (Audi and two Porsche) and we do everything from regular oil change to my old Audi needing to replace various things (sparks plug etc etc). My Porsche Cayenne Diesel in particular keeps on having problem. Every time I bring the Cayenne Diesel in for oil change/ service with Kenny. They always find issues with the car , where I would not be able to do the service with Kenny and instead need to bring it back to Porsche dealer because the Cayenne Diesel is still under warranty. This has happened three times and those three times, Kenny always do the right thing where instead of going ahead with doing oil change/ others, he told me to bring it back to the dealer to make sure the dealership fix it since it is still under warranty. Every time after the dealers fix it, I will then bring it back to Kenny to fix the car. Autowerkstatt is very popular and busy so it takes a week usually to get an appointment in the book. But I'm definitely going to be their long time customer based on this service level. Thanks Kenny and August!

Ken is THE BEST!!! Made time to troubleshoot my recently purchased Mini and gave me a ton of great advice. Installed my new fender cover at no cost. Can definitely trust them to do quality work at a low price :)

I have been going to Auto Werkstatt for years, Kenny very honest and is mechanics are very knowledgeable and professional. It is pretty easy to find someone to work on an aging BMW but what I look for is someone that I trust to keep me on the road and not brake the bank. When Kenny give a recommendations of what should be repaired, I have him do it no questions asked.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Brakes, Battery

All I have to say is I m glad there are honest and professional businesses like Auto Werkstatt around. I e-mailed Ken about my MKII s hood release latch which was destroyed by the truck driver after transporting my vehicle here from Indiana. They took care of me the very next day and I m so thankful for his knowledge because he saved me hundreds of dollars and was kind and compassionate throughout the process. I recommend car enthusiasts to visit the shop even if you have to make a drive. You guys are the best and I will continue to bring my vehicles here for any services & repairs!

I've been going to AutoWerkstatt for 20 years now, Kenny is the best mechanic and advisor, and this is the best Porsche shop in the entire South Bay, second to none. Prices are fair, recommendations are always on point, and workmanship is tip top. Most highly recommended!!

I have taken my Audi A7 into Ken's shop several times since my warranty expired. He provides fantastic service. With a recent problem, he went out of his way to make certain that the problem wasn't covered by the manufacture's warranty before he fixed it. He is very honest and clearly isn't just trying to get business, but is focused on doing the right thing for the customer. I highly recommend them.

Autowerkstatt was recommended to me by a friend when I was looking for a good BMW specialized mechanic. Being mechanically inclined myself I know when someone is trying to over charge or up charge me. When I entered the place for the first time Kenny politely asked me to wait while he finished up with and elderly woman. Kenny was on the phone with a dealership literally arguing with them that they completely over-charged her for a part and that he knew it because he could get the same exact part (from them) cheaper. You could see his disgust and he completely rectified her situation for her. I knew I was in the right place and have used them with 100% satisfaction ever since 2011.

Would not trust this guy to give an honest quote at all. Took my car in for some suspension issues, was told my rear trailing arm bushings were "completely shot and jangling around." Nice up-sell. I asked to have a quote emailed to me. Never received it. Decided to do the work on my own only to find the the bushings were not loose AT ALL and did not even need to be replaced yet. What a joke. Because you tried to up-sell now you get no sale.

Very friendly staff. Cost for a for a regular service was comparable to VW Pacific, but you pay for more experienced mechanics. Car was returned with a ventilation motor no longer working. Very likely it was a coincidence, but Kenny went above and beyond to make it right.

I will not go anywhere else to have my car inspected/fixed. The team has been very helpful throughout my many recent car troubles, even taking the time to answer my questions over the phone. These guys are friendly, helpful, and do an awesome job!

Had an urgent seat-belt issue that was complicated by a child seat and the team went above and beyond to make sure my kids were safe. They made it a priority and got it done fast. I'll be repairing our family's cars there for a long time to come.

If you have a german car, I would highly recommend you bring your car here for repairs. Ken and his staff are very knowledgable and perform quality work. The pricing is definitely cheaper than any of the dealership service centers.

Had a blown fuse and Ken said come in one morning. Turns out fuses on BMWs are much more complicated than you would ever imagine. Yet, they fixed it on the spot even though I could tell they were very busy. I'll be back for sure.
