PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO GOOGLE - DO NOT TAKE THE MOUNTAIN VIEW ROAD ROUTE TO THIS AREA!!! Its dangerous and hard on your transmission and brakes!!! The staff have been trying to inform google and the state to no avail. If you find yourself on Mountain View Road with an RV of any kind - turn back.Such a beautiful place with tree'd sites and friendly staff. Highly recommend if you are travelling the Mendocino Coast.

Very friendly staff accommodating. Even cleaned my motorcycle helmet windscreen! I stayed in a cabin that was warm, double bed, two bunk beds and a heater...My first time at Manchester and had a great visit

Great KOA Campground for sure. All the amenities you would expect and some excellent walking trails that are easy for all abilities. The cabins are small and rather comfortable with a porch swing to enjoy in the evening. The pool was clean and serviceable. The little store was well stocked and had a bit of everything. They're close to town and less expensive firewood.

Sofa bed wasn't comfortable. Ltd cell coverage, $13 a day fee for WiFi!? Cabin was clean but hot plate not efficient for indoor cooking. Nice campground with a lot of amenities.

Stayed here in Aug in a campervan. Sites were large, and wasn't fully booked when we stayed so had plenty of space. 30 min easy walkable beach trail nearby. Bathrooms were clean and showers were free. Store well stocked and staff friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend.

Had a great time staying here :) the tent sites are very close together, I would've preferred more space but luckily we had very nice site neighbors so it wasn't a problem. The little store was very helpful I ended up needing to buy more firewood and having that available was a life saver! Staff was very nice and helpful and they did a great job keeping the bathrooms clean and the trash bins never overfilled. The trail to the beach from the campground took us about 30 mins to get there and about halfway thru it becomes deep sand so it's a little difficult but the beach is really big and the trail is pretty. Lots of beaches within driving distance that are dog friendly. The trail from the camp to the beach is not dog friendly due to endangered snowy plover habitat. The camp itself is very dog friendly tho and they even have a little dog park. Very good experience overall :)Safety: I felt very safe here

We love staying here, we've been coming here for the last 5 years. We never want to leave. The campground is clean and well taken care of. It's so relaxing we love to hear the ocean at night.

Wonderful stay at the Manchester Beach KOA. The grounds and staff are equally lovely. Everything was clean and everyone was friendly. The campground is within walking distance of the beautiful Manchester beach. Point Arena is just a couple of miles away. Perfect location. We will be coming back! Special thanks to Yolanda for her amazing customer service!

Excellent staff and campground. We happened to book our reservation well before KOA ran a promotional price, and I wasn t expecting to be refunded the difference at check in, however the staff went ahead and refunded me without prompting from me. That kind of service certainly retains someone like myself as a customer, as they are willing to take care of me. The campground was very well cared for and maintained, fresh paint and clean sites with plenty of room. My family, friends, and myself with absolutely be back.

This is a great campground as far as plenty for the kids to do and friendly staff for the most part. We generally love it here and don't have any issues however our last stay there people were throwing fireworks into the fire and had a giant fire going in the grass both very against the rules and not safe in the kid filled environment... and nobody was at the camp to tell them to stop, we called and left a vm, emailed and searched camp for the host zero response even 2 days later for the cost a camp host or people that are there over night/past 8 would be amazing. If its just unsupervised chaos, then there is a camp 2 driveways down that is cheaper and has bathrooms.

We loved this campground! The staff was so friendly and generous. Our family of 5 had planned to sleep in a large tent, but the weather was pretty bad. They upgraded us to a cabin at no charge because they wanted us to be comfortable. Amazing! And the cabin was so nice!

If you re looking for a place to get away with the family, this is it. I ve been coming here for years and I absolutely love it. They have plenty of things to keep the kids occupied (ie. swimming pool, game room, play area, hiking trails, etc) and they also have a park for the dogs! This place can accommodate all sizes of RVs and they also have tent and cabin camping. This place is a must go if you get a chance!

Lots of people. Lots of sites. Big property.Thursday night, was placed in a perfect spot, the Ts down by the state park border. Ocean breezes, could hear the waves and wildlife. Perfect.Come Friday morning, the Honky Tonk party arrived at noon and kept on going. Unloading logs, tossing them, yelling at each other, diesel trucks, in and out, dog freaking out, high-powered blow torched a fire, loud kids on loud mobile toys and loud country music. Noon to 9ish/10pm. Then up again at 630 - diesel trucks, the boat and the guys to go fishin.I called the office when awoken from my nap at noon, Friday, and asked for a lil help, the grounds keeper drove by and did nothing. It did nothing. He drove by a lot to drop fire qood for others, with hardly a sound. By evening, it was a cacophony of other music, drowning out the first. Nature sounds? Obliterated - the city came w the folks. Meanwhile, the rest of the park was peaceful, quiet and sweet. Or so it seemed. Many dog walks later, a short night of sleep, I left. When I left, Saturday, I asked if there was a quiet section for tents? No, they do not have a quiet section. Period. So unhappy. All in all KOA is a gamble. Of the 7 I stayed at this summer, only 1 delivered. And this wasn't it. It could have been amazing, could have been 5 star, but the rights of others are not protected here.

Great KOA, could have been 5* if there was WiFi as advertised. WiFi is supposed to be provided by some 3rd party at exorbitant prices. Keep in mind that cellular data is non existant in this area.. the staff cop-out is that they can't do anything about it. Actually folks, you CAN do something about it.. maybe change provider or do something about prividing it yourselves. You have an online booking system so WiFi must be available in the area. This provider is giving you a really bad name! Otherwise a very pleasant KOA with great facilities for kids and tent camping. Bathrooms were OK and conveniently situated for exploring the Mendo area. Also just be aware that the Racoons here are of the demon variety who can get in almost anywhere!

We took the RV here. There are some RV spots better than others, but that's probably true of most RV parks. The dog park is larger than most of the KOAs we've been to. We've stayed at a handful, but I'd say this was our favorite as far as area and a good spot. Getting here is on a very windy road. If you get motion sick, you may want to reconsider.Nearby activities: The ocean is right there, always a great activity.

The facility and the staff are all amazing. So much stuff for kids and adults to do: swimming, disc golf, bocci ball, painting, ice cream social, volleyball and the list goes on. Not to mention you are so close to the beach. Very dog friendly! They had a very large dog park along with a smaller one which I thought was very nice, we have a mini pig that comes camping with us and she really enjoyed the small dog park yard. Everyone that works there are so friendly and always greeting you with a smile. We will for sure visit them again and I highly recommend others do as well.

I'd give it 5 stars but the pay-for-wifi didn't even come in well where I was parked. Otherwise the place is super clean, clean restrooms, quiet, friendly and was in the spirit of X-Mas with lights all over. They have a heated swimming pool, hot tub, laundry room, arcades, huge outdoor cooking area with microwave.

One of the worst. We had issues at our first campground and were able to make a reservation for this KOA. After 2 hours of detouring we arrived to find that they put us next to the "party." 4 cars parked in our space. Front desk called "maintenance" to talk to them and a teenager begrudginly moved 1 car. They couldn't understand why we couldn't get our 30' motorhome towing a jeep around their vehicles. We asked for a different space and they finally gave us one but then charged us extra for the "upgrade". Seriously? Broken electric socket. Dogs running around unleashed. Dirt roads, dust everywhere. Absolutely no control in this campground. KOA should be ashamed to have their name on this place.

There are all kinds of things going on here. Cabins, RV lots and tent camping. Laundry and clean bathroom and showers. A path to the ocean. Community cooking area. Game room and outside games. It's a clean campground. No cell reception for Xfinity/Verizon or T-Mobile. No over the air TV but they have cable with 10 channels that are crystal clear. WiFi is available if you pay for it. Easy to sign up and pay. WiFi is strong. Bathrooms need updating. Roads and RV sites are gravel. Good water pressure. Friendly staff.
