Riding a Yamaha FJR on 11 day tour over the Sierras of CA and headed for the Big Ditch in AZ. Woke up on a Sunday morning with a minor hole in rear tire. Plugged the tire in the camp ground but 5 miles later the Pirelli Diablo ate the plug. Ultimately, plugged the tire 7 times and could not get it to hold. This is a remote area about 40 miles from Mammoth CA and my cell phone was low on bars. Called my son back home in Oregon and he found Peter's number of 2 Wheel Flyer in Mammoth CA and left a message on a Sunday morning. Peter called him back in just a short time and my son directed him to me, by now I had ridden a friend's bike into Lee Vinning CA and got some juice in my phone and picked up more plugs. We arranged for Peter to rescue me and he hauled me and the flat-tired-wheel in to repair the flat in his Mammoth shop. Peter patched the tire from the inside and it held, but the scar from using so many plugs made the tire unsafe. From a friend and on a Sunday where nothing's open, Peter rounded up a new tire that was a different size than OEM, but close enough to work...far better than running on a gouged tire. He drove me back to the FJR and the new Michelin Road 6 worked beautifully. Bike handles good as ever. Nicely done Peter...Many thanks!Service: Tires

The owner of this shop really helped me out! It was a Sunday and he was out riding, yet he still agreed to open the shop and take a look at my Yamaha V Star. He was able to stop the squeaking noise and reassure me that it was okay to continue on to Redding. What a cool guy! He really went out of his way to be of service and I am hugely grateful!!

I m a retired pro motocross racer I reset the nationals for Motocross fox in the 70s and 80s team Yamaha as well. Recently peter repaired my Yamaha 125 for Hangtown 125 invitational national going over the entire motorcycle and his services are excellent my 125 round stronger than ever. The best mechanic in Mammoth without a doubt.

Needed a flat fixed on a Sunday afternoon. Tubed tire, needed a new tube. Peter had the tube in stock and opened his shop to install it and get me back on the road. His labor rate was very fair. Highly recommended.Service: TiresService: Tires
