Always love how this dealer connected with MINI groups and MINI events. Parking lot s view is great for owners to chat about MINIs while enjoy their breakfast and stories behind the wheel. Recommended this place to chill and talk about MINIs.

Great service and really fun cars!! Salesperson was very helpful and the person who managed the financing paperwork was very methodical and efficient. Very happy with my all-electric mini - many more luxury features than I expected!

Bryan was the salesman who worked with me. His knowledge and enthusiasm for MINIs was evident, and he went out of his way to ensure that I had everything I needed to investigate the car I was buying. His friendliness was exemplary as well. I thoroughly appreciated the walk-through he did with me highlighting the "quirks and features" of my new MINI in between me signing paperwork. The showroom itself is very nice, and everyone was generally friendly. I would recommend buying from MINI of Marin.

Our sales associate was incredibly knowledgeable and had the perfect balance of availability when we had questions without hovering over us. No pressure on us to buy, just very happy to talk about the cars and offer data points to help us decide between different models.

Amazing service at this dealership, Bryan and Mila jumped through rings of fire to get this Mini Cooper SE in my garage. I can t thank them enough. The service advisors and techs are very experienced, polite, and always deliver on time.

At Mini of Marin, you can expect the interactions with management to feel like a traffic stop with a cop. No introduction, just rude commands while standing as you sit. You can also expect your brand new $40k car to look like this after 1 day of ownership. All the black trim is faded after some rain and a small crack was found on the windshield. You can then expect Management to tell you it s your problem, not theirs, and that you can go buy a product called Mcguire s from Autozone and do yourself, because all the cars on his lot will do the same after a day of rain. Oh, but if you bring him the receipt, he ll kindly reimburse you for the $10 bottle of polish. Never go here. Don t give them your business. I ve been an owner of a Mini for less than a week and already regret my purchase. Way to go Frank and Nathan! Great job over there. Corporate s thrilled with you both.

We walked in Mini of Marin and got greeted by the wonderful team members inside the showroom.we came in to checkout a 2020 Red mini cooper and also took a new 2023 for a spin around the block.We came back the next day to close the deal on the 2020 Red Mini cooper. We also came back a few times to play ping pong in the showroom and ask questions about some of the functions of the entertainment system . We also got great customer service in the onsite parts department and the Collision department to install a genuine mini part.

Mini of Marin s approach to selling cars is vastly different than most dealerships. There is no pressure to purchase a car or any of the additional upsell items most offer. This difference makes the purchase as stress free it can be. They really don t haggle the price either. What is posted is their price.

Most painless car buying experience ever! I dreaded buying a new car because I don't like the high pressure sales experience. I just want to pick what I want and be on my way. At Mini of Marin I was able to do just that.I test drove a similar car because the EVs are in such high demand there are none on the lot. There was no pressure to buy. I went home and custom designed my new car on their website. Mini kept me updated on production by email and text and made sure everything was in order for pickup.The day of delivery went quickly and smoothly. I signed paperwork and was shown the basic functions of my new EV, a different driving experience than a gas car! Soon I was on the road enjoying my new Mini.

Although I live almost 400 miles away from MINI of Marin, Mila and Nathan coordinated the entire purchase so that I could fly in and drive out in short order. This dealership even put the protective coating on my car the day I was there! Amazing service and friendly people. I would not hesitate to make another purchase from this team.

This is the least professional MINI dealership I have ever visited (and I ve gone to a lot). The very first thing I noticed upon walking in is that everyone is sitting down and on their phones.. Usually when I walk into a MINI dealership (or any dealership for that matter), they make it their goal to provide you with a warm welcome. Not here. Secondly, no one was in MINI attire. Usually workers have a black MINI shirt or a clean, professional outfit. Here, I felt like I walked into wine o clock at a divorcee s soiree. I saw fur and low-rise pants on workers.. like what??I had made a prior appointment and eventually sat down with Mila, whom I had been speaking with the last few days regarding potentially purchasing a 3rd MINI. I m not sure if it s a cultural difference but she was not kind. Even on the phone, her words were rough and condescending.. In person, even more so. When I spoke to the manager, Nathan, he wasn t as cold as Mila but not pleasant to speak with either. He spoke in a patronizing tone, as if I didn t know anything. I always come to dealerships with facts and market research and proof to back. I always try to be kind but firm when it comes to purchasing vehicles. Here, it was met with an air of haughtiness making for a very unpleasant experience. Don t bother visiting this dealership; take your business elsewhere.

Tess Smart was fabulous.I feel like a part of the Mini family.Every part of my purchase experience was smooth, efficient, and pleasant.Everyone should drive a Mini, and every Mini should be purchased from Tess at Mini of Marin. 5 stars. 10/10

After 16 years owning a Mini Cooper, it was time to purchase a new ride. I had an exceptional experience with Mini of Marin, due to salesman BIRENDRA KIRAN (also known as "B"). From my first inquiry, Birendra was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Due to the chip shortage, it took four months to order my sweet new supercharged Mini Cooper, and it was totally worth the wait. It is truly a beautiful vehicle, and I am still open-jawed at the dizzying array of excellent features, both mechanical and digital. Birendra helped me through every step, responding quickly to phone or email messages with the information I needed. A lot of pressure is removed due to the chip shortage, as new cars are only available via order and thus, there is no stressful haggling. Mini does offer a $2,000 rebate, which was quite welcome indeed. The price was VERY reasonable, better than I expected, and I was able to trade in my old Mini for a value I didn't expect, as it was very long in the mechanical tooth.I had been shopping for Mini dealerships for a few years, delayed by the pandemic, before calling Birendra and selecting him as my salesman. A few years ago I will confess that I met sales staff I didn't care for, one who was so arrogant and indifferent he let me walk off the lot without placing an order, even though I was ready to purchase. Birendra was just the diametric opposite; he was engaged at every step of the way, patient and helpful, customizing the experience to my needs and wishes. Birendra has been involved in Mini sales for 15 years plus, and I can assure you, it is because of him that I am so pleased with the transaction. I had an absolute blast when I picked up my new ride yesterday, and Birendra provided a wonderful orientation of my new, supercharged Cooper S (which I have dubbed "Graysteed"), along with the ins and outs of service for the future. His brother-in-arms is James from the financial department, who was equally pleasant, and has the contract process finely tuned into a definitive science. These two individuals genuinely work towards making your Mini purchase and owner experience to be the best it can possibly be, for now and the future.I can virtually guarantee that if you select Birendra as your salesman, you will be thrilled with both your new vehicle and the entire sales experience... and no, he did not ask me to write this review, and no, I am not his mother. My name is Sam S. from Napa, a stranger to Birendra "B" before my purchase, though now I feel as if I have a new friend and ally for all of my questions and for the times I will visit the dealership for service. "B" stands for the "Bomb", as far as I am concerned!

I have now purchased 2 cars from mini of Marin and I m sure when I m ready for my next that I ll be back again. Birendra worked with me to help me get my dream mini and he was awesome the whole way through. I m from out of of town so I did some of the purchase process over the phone and online and that helped save a ton of time when I went in to sign the papers and drive off. James the finance guy was also fantastic to work with. The showroom is clean and beautiful and the process is nice and streamlined and there was zero pressure from anyone. All around I highly recommend purchasing from this dealership, even if you have to take a drive to get there.

I was shopping to purchase my first mini and was so lucky to work with Jonathan Kennedy. He was so helpful from the start. The most important piece advice he gave me was if you don t love it, don t buy it. He wanted me to feel right about my purchase. From there we worked together from finding the right make and model, giving me time to find the right bank with the best APR, and he followed up with me after the purchase, making sure I was adjusting well to being a new mini owner. The made sure I downloaded the mini app - it s amazing! It s a special relationship we built in a very brief amount of time. I m located in SF but the Marin location is where I got my mini. Thank you for a smooth buying experience!

Started process of a new lease as ours was coming to end. They made it real easy, convenient, and I believe, a good value. Just picked up our 23 Mini, very pleased. Birendra in sales, Lauren in finance, and the rest of the crew made it a good experience. Check them out if you are in the market.

Brandon is a good service advisor. Very pleasant to work with. Dealership provided a video walk around of your vehicle which is a nice service. Would definitely not hesitate to bring my Mini back for service. Sales staff also seems nice while I was there waiting for my vehicle to be service.

I was referred here by my mechanic to get a new turbo installed in my 2011 Countryman. Making the appointment online was very convenient and check in process was super easy. Brandon is my service advisor and he was very responsive and accommodating of my weird working hours. The loaner they provided me was amazing. I got my car back in wonderful condition, and Brandon was very patient in answering all of my questions. I will not hesitate to get service done here again. It was a great experience.

We purchased a 2023 Mini Cooper SE from Mini of Marin and the experience was wonderful !! Our Motoring Advisor was Mila Samson and she always took the time to answer my emails and phone calls during the time from ordering the car to delivery. On delivery day, Mila was excellent and thorough in explaining all the features of the car and setting up the Mini app on the mobile phone. Even though it was a busy day, she took the time to answer all our questions and never once made us feel rushed. Mila was professional, friendly and personable. I would definitely recommend anyone interested in purchasing a Mini to contact Mila - you will have an amazing purchasing experience !!Everyone we met at Mini of Marin was just wonderful and friendly - from the Greeter at the Reception Desk, Mila our Motoring Advisor, James in the Finance Department and Brandon in the Service Department. All were truly amazing !!I highly recommend Mini of Marin. Get your Mini at this dealership and you will not be disappointed !!!
