This is the best mechanic in LB.Hands down. Honest/ timely and consistent. For this reason I cannot give anything less than a 5 star rating.The location isn't the biggest, nor do they have the newest tools and gadgets. This is elbow greese and a few parts. It's impressive.The main mechanic handles phones / payments/ updates to your vehicle and services the units as well!I've brought my wife's, my brother's and my cars to this location and were always seen and taken care lf same day. If parts are required, obviously we will come back when they arrive.. but for the most part this is a Solid spot for that quick fix to get you on the road again.- brakes- rotors- lightsHave been the key things I've had to replace/repair at this location.If you want to be picky you can say that the place is a little dirty/ dusty. The Vending machine is old and there's no tvs and a lounge to hang out and wait.

Ramos is the one go to guy in Los Banos. He is quick and he is fair. I have never had problems with him. He has replaced my 2000 Chevy Truck Engine, water pump and back lights had a shortage and kept going out. He helped to fix that. The Toyota I had kept turning off out of nowhere and he found out it was just a fuse under the steering wheel. He is always fair on pricing.

This guy's currently being investigated and performing work while his license was outdated, which is illegal, he has since closed up his shop and is avoiding the investigation. This man is bad news

I didn't get service here but when I called the guy was so nice and willing to help. He even offered to stay after closing and fix my car if I were able to get there because he didn't have a tow truck.

On a trip, passing through Los Banos, my car started to sputter badly. It was a Saturday and I knew I wasn't going to make it to my destination with the car running like that. So I hopped on Google and after finding most shops closed for the weekend, I found Ramos Auto Repair was open and could take a look at my car. They quickly, professionally and cheaply fixed the problem. I can only hope that when my car chooses to break down again, it's in Los Banos so I can bring it back to this shop.

He charges way too much and doesnt do a good job. He filled my car with ac refridgerint and charged me 89 which is fine but he didn't even check to see if it was done he just unplugged it

The owner Kilo Ramos is a good man with a good personality. You always get good service here from the smallest thing to the biggest problem he will always take care of you.
