Back in July 2020 it's my 1st summer month with my 3 kids after divorce. I was a recent leg amputee with my 1st prosthetic leg. Ex-wife apparently likes 2 leggers. I decide we're doing a western states road trip for 3 weeks. Week 2 of the trip we go from Death Valley to Sequoia National Park in 1 day. My 2015 Chevy Silverado transmission didn't like that. Long story short my truck was stuck in 3rd gear close to Los Banos. I called every dealer within 50 miles. They ALL recommended Nick's Transmission. Nick diagnosed the problem as a Transmission Control Module(TCM) on a Thursday, had the parts by Froday morning and finished Saturday. He even picked me up at the U-Haul place where I'd rented a van since there were no rental cars available in Los Banos. It's March 2024 and my transmission is perfect! Nick's Transmission saved the road trip and I am eternally greatfull.

This place is a true find! The owner is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We had transmission problems on the road as we were moving back home. Nick took us in as an emergency client and fixed our issue. Very professional and extremely fair. I wish he lived in my home town his shop would be my go to for anything auto related.

Myself as well as my family trust Nick s service. After fixing our car he insured us to bring it back if we encountered any other issues, however no other issues were found. He has great prices and all the employees are very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Nick s transmissions!

Overall fantastic experience. Owner was knowledgeable,quick, and professional. Our transmission broke down just outside of Los Banos during a road trip through California. Had it towed to the shop and he had a new transmission in and running in less than 4 days. Happy to be back on the road again. I would highly recommend this transmission service shop.

I was grateful to have brought my car here when I killed my clutch at the end of a long road trip. Nick was very friendly and genuine in helping me get my car back in shape. Would definitely recommend.

Really Good place they fix my Mercedes CLK 430 with a new transmission in only couple of days it was fast and quality work and the people there are friendly and kind good place recommend!!!!!!!!
