I was in a tough situation traveling from Los Angeles to Eureka and the car kept overheating. on a Sunday morning Carlos and his team did a diagnostic. Carlos and Luis explained to me fully what they thought it was and all the possibilities causing my problem. He gave me a choice to fix the water pump or just tow the car, no pressure on his part. I agreed to have the car serviced to change the water pump and he and Luis finished water pump and timing belt removal and installation in 3 hours. They are truly men with the want to help people on the road and have helped hundreds of people. My experience was excellent and they were honest fast and in the end they fixed my mystery problem which 3 other mechanics could not figure out. I made it to Eureka without any other car trouble.

I stopped here twice for emergency tire replacements and both times Carlos had my dealer only special order tire used in stock! Roll right in and serviced right away, I will drive out of my way to get repairs done here on road trips now!

About 1 week ago I was on my way to Monterey from Fresno by myself. As I was driving down the highway at a high speed the front plastic rock guard came loose and folded under my 2017 Lexus RX 350. The part was recently put on by a high line dealer in Fresno, CA. due to a small collision. It was not Fresno Lexus but it was another high end Dealership. This was so scary and loud. Luckily I wasn't too far from Los Banos. I didn't know what to do so I pulled into Home Depot and one of the workers told me to go across the street to See Carlos which I did. He was amazing. He was in the middle of doing something else but stopped for me and got my car all buttoned up ad locked down. I had no fear that after his fine work that rock guard would definitely not come off again. He was quick, smart and fair. I feel better traveling knowing people like him are out there. Thank you so much Carlos!

California tires is where you should NOT be going. The helper is very rude. Tried to charge me $100 to replace a valve stem. I went to California Tires and he charged me $25. Tried to charge me 20$ for wheel spacers and Cali Tires was $5 each. Mounting and balancing tires 120$ he told me. Cali tires charged me 15$. This should be the last tire shop you come to in LB.

I am so pleased to of been able to make it over to this shop they had literally everything I needed for my truck now let me tell you my truck is a 1969 F250 parts for her are hard to find but Carlos shop has it all I will definitely be back to gather the rest of the things I need for my Ford . Carlos shop has definitely been a life savor we have been broke down on the hiway three times now for the past week and a half now we can finally make it home thank-you so much for being the shop with the best and most important parts for our older vehicles. I would give you 10 stars if it was an option and recommend you a million times

I would not go to this place even if it means paying a tow truck to drive to the next closest place because chances are it will save you money. They put a defective used tired on our vehicle that didn t last even 24 hours before cracking and shredding after charging him $300. Yes three hundred dollars for ONE used tire. We had no choice as they were the only place within close proximity with the correct size tire. Took cash only and refused receipt or invoice. When I called and spoke to them, the man claiming to be the manager chuckled and said used tires have no warranty. Obviously, but they should last more then 24 hours. Getting home safe was the main priority. This place is a scam, has horrible common business practices, and should have their license taken. After speaking to our local tire shop the same used tire would be around the 65$ mark. We payed 450$ for a brand new great quality tire from a professional business when we got home. The expiration date of the tire this place put on is currently being investigated. Money is money and the very least of the problem. Safety, honesty, transparency, and being kind are most important. And this business has NONE of those qualities. Praying to god they didn t do the same to a vehicle with young children riding. If you ve experienced a similar situation with this place I urge you to file a complaint with BAR (bureau of automotive repair) they should be made aware of all of the instances I am reading on previous reviews. Humans are human and mistakes happen and sometimes we don t get the service we expect. But I believe they are knowingly putting peoples lives at risk and get a chuckle out of it to make an extra buck. While also trying to obviously evade taxes or accountability by not providing invoices or receipts of service, which is illegal!

We had a blowout on the inside rear tire of our class A motorhome on our way home to Phoenix,Arizona. We found ourselves in a predicament as it was late on a Saturday night. With a quick Google search, we knew we were going to be in trouble as there were no tire shops open on Sunday in Santa Nella. We called several shops that were 24/7mobile to no avail. Last ditch effort was to Carlos Tire and mobile repair and I now wish we had started with them. Beto was an absolute gem. He not only had two tires and came to our rescue, but he also called us the next day to ensure that we had made it home safely. I have never experienced such fantastic customer service. Beto is a rock star and an incredible human being. Thank you Carlos and Beto, will never forget you.

Extremely quick service, reasonable pricing. 4-tire replacement was scheduled immediately and took less than 30 minutes to complete.

Worst tired shop in the world!!! Wish I could give zero stars! We are not from the area and had a tire blow out, this was one of the only shops open in this small town. Went in and told us all of our tires needed to be replaced! So we listened to them and decided to replace them all. Well they used the bait and switch on us, showed us decent used tires and gave their word that they would be good for at least a year. That s not what they put on our vehicle!!! They put on the most busted, old, cracked and defective tires ever. And would only take cash not our debit card and I understand why they insisted on cash only so there wouldn t be a paper trail. Also didn t give us a receipt and claimed their printer was down. Unfortunately we were in such a panic and rush that we didn t inspect the job (lesson learned!), didn t think we had to since this has never happen to us and u don t expect people to take advantage of you like this! We thought we could trust these scammers. Two days later one of the tires they replaced blew out but luckily we were closer to home and had it fixed with a legit good tire shop, and they informed us that Carlos tires gave us all defective tires and they had to be replaced! We paid 300 dollars for the used tired Carlos tires was supposed to put on and it was money down the toilet! They scammed us and what really pisses me off is that they put my family in danger!! I have an 18 month old and I swear I would burn this place down had anything happened to us!!! When I called to complain to Carlos tire the guy was extremely RUDE, heartless and just plain didn t care!!! I don t know how these people are in business because I see from other reviews they have done this many times! They are scammers and thieves! That is straight up criminal and against the law! Close this place down and do not go here unless you want to get scammed!!

Our tire blew up in the middle of no where on a Sunday. A quick google search lead us here where they were fast, efficient, and kind. They re perfect for emergencies. Prices were reasonable for our situation and they were very honest.

I am from Los Angles and had a tire blow out while up in Gilroy. I had to get roadside assistance and the tow truck driver (who was very nice and professional) took me to buy used tires from this place. They refused to take a debit or credit card and when I finally withdrew cash from the ATM, they told me that I needed ALL FOUR of my tires replaced. They said they re printer was down and they couldn t provide a receipt. All red flags I ignored because of my bad situation and I regret it. I m a new father. My fianc� and toddler were still at the hotel and out of safety concerns I paid $300 for four used tires that I planned on replacing when I got home back in LA. I just wanted my kid to be safe. This shop told me the tires would be good for a year and that they would leave one of my old tires in the trunk as a spare. Im a novice when it comes to cars and the tow truck driver inspected the used tires and told me they were fine. I made it to LA and the very next day one of the used tires blew out. When I took it to a tire shop they told me that these four tires they sold me were defective and completely unsafe. I called he tow truck driver that had referred me and sent him pictures. They pulled a switch and bait, and put four defective tires on my car after i paid. The tow tuck driver as as upset as I was. They also didn t leave one of my old tires as a spare as they promised. I called and asked for a refund and their exact response you re a moron for buying used tires we have signs everywhere that says no guarantees or warranty . My fianc� then called and they used foul language and hung up. This is obviously a scam and my toddler could have been killed. I ve already consulted with an attorney and filed a police report, BBB, and insurance claim. I am in the process of suing these crooks and the police told me they have had multiple complaints similar to mine. They took advantage of my family and myself because they knew we were desperate and in a bad situation. BEWARE OF THESE SCAM ARTISTS! I will sue them just on principle. My son could have been killed and he s precious cargo. It s disgusting what they did to us. They should be ashamed!!!

I was worried about the rating for this place at first but the guy turned out out to be friendly and gave great advice.I was late for work and tried two other places first that both told me it would be a 30+ minute wait.I told him my story and he helped me right away. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes (just a nail in the tire).

I got a flat tire so stopped by this place because this was the only open place at 10pm. The starting charge was 80 and they charged 160 for a tire which is 40 according to the market price.After service, they said cash only and were saying there is tax as well. So the total came out to be 260. Total ripoff as mentioned in other reviews. Make sure to check up on your car before a long night drive so you wont end up in places like this.

Best place to get ripped off hands down! My tire blew out just past Los banos towards Pacheco pass and unfortunately Carlos tire shop was only place available. It was 30 minutes after they closed so he didn't hesitate to charge us an extra $80 apart from the cost of a used tire which of course was also $80. We had to get my daughter to airport in San Jose so we had no choice but to pay the $160 which almost turned to $200 cause he had us mixed up with another person who also got a flat tire but that person got it worse than we did. Taking advantage of the misfortune in anything is a shameful thing to do and karma is a b***h.

Had a rim blow out on my Jeep. Carlos and everyone there was able to find a rim that matched my rim and repaired my brake caliper that came undone and blew my rim out (yes. The rim, not the tire).They got me back on the road very quickly.

Oh my gosh. I can't even say enough. We were connected to Carlos through Turlock City Tow when we had a blowout during a long road trip for Wasteland Weekend. They gave him a call after-hours, and he happily showed up at his shop, met with us, and got us back on the road INSANELY fast. Possibly the fastest tire changer in the West (four tires off and on rims again in 30 minutes). Absolutely love this guy - thanks again for everything!

Dont go here. I went to get 4 new tires and because i wanted to pay using my debit they sent me next door to get change while they swapped the tires i paid for with differnt ones one with a crack in it that leaks air. Told me the next day they didnt have any other tires and now im stuck with a bad tire.

I went to get tire replaced after he put new tire on the rim he found out the valve stem was no good also he wanted to make it like it was my fault and cuss about it and I told him he should have seen that whenever he took the rim off and made the visual inspection. He did have to take through tire off the rim and put it back on but the other guy working with really mellow. I'm just going to write it up to a bad day for the workers at work on my tire. Steve

Horrible customer service. Was trying to charge me $80 for a used tire I called Walmart and it s $89 for everything and it s a new tire and Walmart will throw away your tire for you. Carlos tires charges you to discard your tires. Not worth the headache go some where else. Rip off.

Thus place is no good they price gauch, and never give receipts and always say there computer is down, do not trust this place, this place sucks on quality of tires and you end up paying to much for a simple service to be done avoid this place at all cost

Sold my tires said they would be good for a year. Blew thr next day.. had to get towed to another shop and they said all four tires were defective. Called and said they cant do anything.

Do not shop here! This shop has been consistently lying cheating and scamming.If the tow truck driver takes you there insist on somewhere else.They almost killed my homeboy and his family with their defective bait and switch tires. palabra fools.

Carlos is a very nice guy can be a Lil pricey but then again he works fast and gets the job done right not to mention he is open on sundays would recommend

At first he wasn't gonna put effort into looking thoroughly at my tires but I said ok I'll go to Walmart then all of a sudden he seen the problem I was having and fixed it but charged me triple probably what one tire should cost

He charged me 480 dollars for 2 tirrs that would not fit and would not give me my money back. Tottaly got screwed over. What can i do i need advice. Dont go here to get tires its a bad idea.
