Dashboard light came on just as I was starting a 6 hour drive so I pitstopped here! They took my car in immediately and were so kind and pricing was fair. Recommend! Theres also an outdoor table and mismatch of roller chairs with super solid wifi!

They will steal your money here and lie about something being wrong with your car to make you pay more. By far the worst auto repair mechanics in Los Banos. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED.

Very fair and I did not experience any upselling. You go in for repairs on your car. You get the repairs you ask for. Competent mechanics. I frequently bring my car here. I get from oil changes to air-conditioning repair to repairing a header that had a hole in it after hitting debris on the freeway. All reasonably-priced.

Dishonest bussines be careful. I went today for my service first the secretary gave me price for service but as soon as they have my car they try to charge me more money when I said I wasn't agree because they gave me quote already so they said they will respect the price but after two hours they called me to let me know the car is ready they charge me $456 a soon as Imade the payment they let me know that they just made half of the service because they gave wrong quote I'm super mad because they didn't told me that until I made the payment for sure dishonest bussines don't go this place they will try to make you pay more money a soon as they have your car super bad experience in my lifeService: Transmission

My vehicle was towed there from the highway. A&A informed me that my engine died & it had to go to the dealer. Very helpful repair shop, pleasant employees, and a breezy section to sit. I wish they could have fixed it. My car is still sitting at the dealer's in Merced. It's been three weeks now. The dealer finally looked at last week to order the engine. Thank you very much for your quick and pleasant service

Fast and relatable service. I had multiple problems with my car. It was diagnosed and fixed before the end of the day. For all the repairs I had done it was reasonably priced. Thank you the car is now running great.

We were having major electrical issues while on an hour drive with our toddler. We limped into A&A at 4 o clock and they diagnosed and had us out by 6 fully fixed and ready to go. Fernando was through and great. Many many thanks.

A blown transmission left me stranded on I-5 near Los Banos. After searching the web for repair shops A and A came up with good reviews. I limped our truck in and was immediately helped, on a Saturday! Fernando quickly ascertained the transmission was shot. I had a great feeling about this place and decided to leave the truck and head the three hours home to wait for a quote. I now have a newly installed, 3yr/100,000 warranty transmission, all completed within two weeks of the breakdown. I can recommend this shop with confidence. They are honest and qualified mechanics and I would consider driving the three hours for major services in the future.Service: Transmission

This place is amazing!!!!!! My truck broke down in Santa Nella and I was stuck with a child, 2 dogs, and a cat! My husband was able to make calls from out of state to get me towed here and they were kind enough to get me right in as I was traveling on to Oregon. They set up an area for us and the animals and had everything repaired in 1 hour!! It was a simple fix, and they could have really taken advantage of me, but they didn't. Super cheap and super quick. The mechanic came in and explained everything and was very kind. Great place!!!! I wish they were in MY hometown!

Came in for a smog check. The process was very quick and the price great! The team was very nice! My family has come here for other work and has had similar results. Safe to say if I ever work done on my car I'll definitely be back!

This is my number one mechanic here in Los Banos. I have been coming here for about 3 years since moving to LB and i was recommended thru AAA Insurance as a reliable shop. The staff is very nice and very attentive with your automotive issues. They are very efficient and knowledge with foreign cars and that s why i also bring my cars here, they are a BMW specialist station as well as a smog station. I have never had an issue with trusting them to fix whatever is wrong with my cars. They guarantee their work and you can just drive in if you have an urgent issue and there is someone always greeting you right away with your issue. Their prices for work are competitive & reasonable for the extra time and care they put into the work. My cars run well and they use the best parts and materials to keep your car running good. I like the way this place is managed and how they treat their customers. i highly recommend this place for all your automotive repairs. They also do body shop work on cars and i have heard they are a good body shop as well as far as working with insurance companies. Overall this is a great mechanic staff and i ve never had my car there more than over night for work waiting on parts. This shop is centrally located on Mercy Springs here in LB and very close to my home which is great for me, i just like everything about this place for my car needs.

Service was fast and my car got repaired and everything works good, the only thing sketchy was that they gave me a price by phone and a week later the amount increased by a couple hundres dollars. I dont know if its something they do when you tell them to inspect the vehicle and at the end the problem is the same and since the vehicle is already there they are still getting paid for the inspection eventho they dont get to fix it. Just something to be aware.Services: Transmission, Auto engine tuning

I could not recommend A&A Al Pro more highly! They saved us in an emergency. Our car started acted weird on our drive to Arizona. We called roadside assistance and they had no idea how to hep. I called Fernando at A&A pro and he told me they could see me immediately (this was even on a holiday!) and gave a fairly accurate assessment of what the problem was just over the phone. When we arrived and explained the situation they bumped us to the front of the line, ordered the part, and helped us find a place to stay as we unexpectedly waited for a new transmission. This was a huge help. They were kind and trustable. This was really stressful as we were literally moving out of California and had all our stuff in the car. This is the place to go if you need quality care!Service: Transmission

This business was recommended to us by a car dealership in town. We broke down with check engine light on l-5 we got so lucky to find this blessing of a man who fixed it in less than a hour for a small amount of money. They saved us today and we are so thankful. I prayed that God would find us an honest man and we found him! I pray that his life is blessed. Thank you good man and we are happily back on our trip now. I highly recommend this repair shop. Traveling through Los Banos, I had a rear axle and bearings go out on my vehicle.The guys got me back on the road in just a few hours. And even though I had Tennessee plates on my vehicle, they treated me like a local. Great work and decent price.I will be stopping in there when I come through town again.I highly recommend this shop...

I m shocked by some of these negative reviews. We had a wonderful experience! Our check engine light came on on the I-5. Turns out the car was almost completely out of oil. They figured out what the problem was immediately and had us back on the road in 15 minutes for an excellent price. The guy who helped us out was super helpful and knowledgeable. I would absolutely return!

I've been having problems on my car for some while now and then I took it to a&a pro auto shop and these guys were very honest and got the job done quick! They went above and beyond to get my car fixed to pass smog in time and I'm so thankful! They really know what they're doing and they are great at their jobs! Definitely recommend this shop to Everyone here in Los Banos!

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and really good about explaining everything they were doing. They were able to fix my car quickly and charged a fair price. They managed to diagnose the problem and fix it in less than a day! This is a great shop!

This repair shop was great for me! Although I simply needed a SMOG Cert. for my Ram Diesel Truck, they had an opportunity to work me into their busy schedule. In and out in under 45 minutes....and on my way to the DMV. Thank you Ignacio and Fernando....you and your Team are awesome!

Our van died on I5 and we had to have it towed here. AAA recommended them. Had an email 2 days layer about a simple repair, they fixed it and kept it safe until we could come get it. Solid work.

Might have been the worst service i've ever received. Took my car in to get 3 engine codes fixed, and after getting it back, it ran worse than when i dropped it off, and the codes were back within a day.I ended up paying $300 to have these idiots tell me "just buy a new car"Quite possibly the worst automotive experience of my life, and there's no way I'm getting one bit of my money back from these thieves. You're better off learning how to fix your problem on your own rather than trusting these imbeciles.

I was towed in , no warning , they took my car , called me an hour later and instead of a huge bill and 2 days , I was relieved to find it was a small issue and out on the road in a couple of hours..Best people ever !!!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

If your a White American, Veteran. Forget about it. Been there 3 or 4 times to get a smog. 2 hours minimum wait. Spanish speaking folks get right in. That s the respect this place has. I will never go there again. Shady. I wouldn t even give a one star more like -2I can t speak of service they provide because I have not gotten any service.

I see all these 'mixed' reviews - am a bit puzzled? My experience - I am from out-of-town, my Toyota Tacoma wouldn't start - uh oh. I am stranded! Found them through AAA - had my truck towed there with a note attached that simply read 'Please Fix' with my name and phone no. on it - it was a Saturday and I had checked into a nearby motel to wait it out. True, when I called before sending my vehicle via tow truck, they were very abrupt - but apparently they are so busy - they don't have time for chit chat. My truck was done within 3 hours - AAA discount (10%), price didn't break me ($220 - gas check, cleaned gummed up throttle, replaced all spark plugs) - they mumbled something about that my truck was behind in its maintenance (they are correct) - and I am back on the road - on a Saturday. Thank You!

Horrible service, and they expect you (the customer) to diagnose the problem. I have taken two cars, an Audi and a Honda. So far, they have replaced a sensor on my previous Audi because supposedly it would fix the problem, but seemed to be part of an experiment. They later "realized" it was the spark plugs and charged for replacing the sensor and doing the service to the spark plugs. The next day, the check engine light came up on my dashboard and I immediately called the shop and told me to bring it in. Instead I took it to Almaden Auto Expressway in San Jose, since they were kind enough to lend me a car while they diagnose my vehicle at no charge (Note: A&A charges $80-$150 for a diagnostic). Here, they noticed I had a coolant leakage and fix the matter within a couple of hours and stated that the previous maintenances from A&A was not needed. Last time I take my vehicle for maintenance at this shop and advice that others take theirs elsewhere.
