Basically just ask for Walter. This guy is fair and very knowledgeable. Example: My RPM gauge moves up and down while in park (P). He gave me two possibilities that would fix this problem but suggested the lower cost option instead of the most expensive for my Porsche. Plus today he was $110 cheaper for a routine oil change than the dealer. A++.

After a local competitor 0.4 miles away botched an oil change and then quoted me $3800 for unnecessary repairs as one of their mechanics intimated the other into silence, I scampered frightfully over to Your Right Solutions. Walter instantly put me at ease and walked me through a vehicle inspection free of charge. He treated me as if I was his son. He was extremely kind and informative. I so appreciated his help and I will be going to Your Right Solutions for all my automotive needs from now on!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Trust them, I've used them for many years. Started with my Saabs then added our Camry Hybrid. They only do what's needed. Walter has retired but Ceci is there and keeps things running.

I've been coming to Walter Wong at Right Solution for seven years. They have always treated me and my car with respect and integrity. The work is top notch. Walter and his staff are candid about the necessity of repairs and won't push you to spend money unnecessarily. My car runs wonderfully and I have Walter and his staff, including Hugo, to thank. I recommend Right Solution wholeheartedly.

Your Right Solution is the most trustworthy mechanic shop I ve ever worked with. Had an alternator replaced at 1/2 dealer cost. I send all my friends and family and never had one complaint. These guys are PROFFESIONAL and HONEST! I d give 10 stars if I could!!

2/8/22Rob S (Manager or Owner) and I agreed to the following services for $725.-Oil-Oil Filter-Spark Plugs-Transmission Fluid-Differential Fluid-Air Intake Filter-Cabin Air Filter-Valve AdjustmentTook my Honda S2000 in and was recommended for fuel injector service and serpentine belt on top of what we agreed upon. I payed $1090.20 (invoice says $1053.33 so they probably added a Credit Card fee or something)CEL flashed on less than 100 miles of driving from service (First week of Mar 2022) for misfiring cylinders on all 4 cylinders. (Commonly associated with poor valve adjustment)As I look at my invoice to look for Your Right Solution's phone number and noticed that there was no transmission fluid change done.I Called in 3/4/22 to Your Right Solution Inc to let them know of the issues, male worker answered and tried to tell me they DID NOT perform differential fluid and valve adjustment. He eventually corrected himself (after I repeated that I m literally looking at the invoice and it is right there.) And told me Rob had left for the day already (it s maybe 3pm)I asked for Rob's email and he wouldn't provide it to me for some reason so I messaged Rob on Yelp (where I originally inquired about service) I left my number and message and never got response.(BTW In these situations where a shop may have done questionable work, it s highly recommended to get a second opinion)So I took my Honda to a Honda specialist (Rockstar Garage in Ontario) on 3/8/22 and they told me that the oil filter was for a Honda but did not specific to S2000, transmission fluid was never changed, differential fluid was either never changed or they used the wrong one, and lastly valve adjustment was done too tight which caused the misfiring cylinders.Based on what they saw from the wrong oil filter and bad/non existent fluid changes from Your Right Solution INC Rockstar Garage recommended it should be redone, and they confirmed that the valve adjustment from Your Right Solution caused the misfiring cylinders CEL.Rockstar Garage completed the following:-Oil change (supposed to be done at Your Right Solution)-Oil filter (supposed to be done at Your Right Solution)-Transmission fluid flush/change (supposed to be done at Your Right Solution)-Differential fluid flush/change (supposed to be done at Your Right Solution)-Brake fluid flush/change-Coolant flush/change-Valve adjustment (was done at Your Right Solution but too tight leading to misfire CEL on 4 cylinders)-Compression test-Spool Valve Assembly replacementPaid $1382.18Only the cabin air filter, intake air filter, spark plugs and serpentine belt from Your Right Solution were completed to acceptable standards.Because I never heard back, I had to visit to Your Right Solution the morning of 3/9/22, and Rob was a professional and promised he would get back to me by End Of Business same day in regards to getting refunded.BUT Never heard back from Rob. I messaged him on Yelp the following day 3/10/22 and they replied that needed a couple more days.Still no response after about 4-5 days, so I messaged them again 3/15/22 in the morning, called 3/16/22 in the afternoon around 2pm (and of course Rob isn t in again)3/19/22 no follow up. I m truly disappointed in the work quality and lack of communication from this business when they had such promising reviews.I wouldn t go as far as to say they are a dishonest shop but Poor quality of service (both in terms of car service and customer service) so here is your warning before you visit here.TLDR:Got my S2000 worked on here. $1090 paidGot CEL less than 100 miles of driving after.Had to get majority of work redone at another shop. $1382 paid.Had to message/call/physically visit just to hear back.Never got a follow up.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I have been a regular since 2016. At that time, Walter Wong and company were the best around for European cars. But a few years ago Walter WOng left. And so did a lot of the regular, tried and true mechanics. Since then, I the turnover has been alarming. While the staff has seemed competent, I have lost faith. And sadly, due to my lack of mechanical expertise, faith is all I have to go on. So, the other day I needed a headlight bulb replaced. The current "front of the house" mechanic who I had never seen before ( and I was just there a less than 6 months before) advised me that the bulb replacement would take at least 2 hours, would most likely require removing panels and bumpers.... so I did more research. And in 20 minutes, with a friends support, I replaced the bulb WITHOUT REMOVING ANYTHING. Speechless. I have spent thousands, literally, at this shop. I may need a different solution. Sorry folks.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Walter and his team at Right Solution are the best there is. I used to go to the dealer and they would quote one price and charge me another. They would also find things wrong that in fact were not wrong because I didn t know anything about cars, just to drive up my bill. Right Solution is a completely different experience. They inspect your car for free and then they show you exactly what is wrong so you can see for yourself. Walter is the most ethical guy in the business. He showed me that my rotors were slightly worn and it would cause some noise and vibration, but there was no danger. He recommended I save money and not fix them because if it was his car, that is what he would do. He also encouraged me to wait a few thousand miles before changing my break pads so I get everything out of them. Finally, my air conditioning system was leaking. He said his guys could fix it, but that his colleagues who specialize in air conditioners could do is faster and cheaper. I can t say enough good things about Right Solution. I used to dread taking my car in for repairs because I knew I was going to get taken advantage of. Right Solution is the opposite. Going to Right Solution is like having your expert dad give you advice and then make repairs. The staff is extremely polite and efficient and the prices are reasonable. I am so happy I found Right Solution and would confidently recommend it to anyone.

Went in for my 2007 Subaru Forester -Walter, who runs the shop, is great and personable. He offered multiple practical solutions to my car problems and was patient in explaining them to me. My conversation with him was two people talking about a machine, as opposed to a salesman talking about some mysterious, potentially dangerous entity (as is often the case at repair shops). He understands that good business is built through honesty and good customer relations, not scaring the customer into immediate action, and I really appreciated that. It also doesn't hurt that he's a family man and that his shop has personality to it.In terms of price, they are extremely competitive. In terms of quality, they are very experienced.Very highly recommend Right Solution --

I'M NEVER GOING ANYWHERE ELSE AGAIN! Walter is the greatest mechanic and man I've met. He did a thorough inspection of my engine and quoted me a price. Because he said other places could do it cheaper so he looked up a place that could save me money. Then he called the place, gave them all of the info, bargained with them to get the cheapest price and everything. Walter truly treated me like family. He broke down everything I had to do and say on the phone for future calls and held my experienced hand all the way through the process. At the end of the day, he did all that for free because it was a free inspection. Give this man all of your money.

I would stay away from this place if your looking for an honest mechanic. The owner Walter does make a list of all the services your car needs but he either doesn't know what he is talking about or he is just trying to get you to do unnecessary services. My car was perfectly healthy and I just wanted him to do a pre purchase inspection. He said my car needed a timing belt at 80,000 and when I told him that the dealer recommends changing it at 120,000 for my car he just made an excuse about how he has to check it and never mentioned anything about that again. Had I not known that he probably would convince me to change the timing belt. He also said that my car needs $3000 engine work because it was leaking coolant. After putting the car on the jack and seeing that there was no coolant leaking he said that it leaks at night, if that was true I would have to either add coolant or the engine would over heat and I don't add coolant and its always full like its supposed to be. And just to confirm that my car didn't have a coolant leak I took it to a AAA certified mechanic who clearly stated that the engine had no issues or leaks. I am sure if he is doing this with me then he will do it to everyone else who walks into his shop. There are plenty of good mechanics out there so you don't need to come here. I'm sure that everyone who has given him five stars have either fallen for his tricks or they have only had simple services like oil changes from him.

Have been bringing all my cars here for close to 5 years and have always been extremely happy with the service. This last time was like going to a completely different place - not sure if ownership changed or what happened but the service was chaotic, my car door had greasy fingerprints on it when I picked it up. I wasn't confident that my oil had been changed and I also brought my car in for check engine service light. After picking my car up and driving home, the car stalled on me and the check engine service light came on. Will not be returning.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I visited multiple shops in L.A. in an attempt to find a trustworthy mechanic. Look no further, Walter and his team are professional, honest, and respectful - I even received a follow-up text to make sure I was satisfied. I can't remember the last time a mechanic asked me to come down to the shop to see exactly which parts required repair. Thank you, Your Right Solution.

Best mechanics, very trust worthy. I used to go to car dealers, but for more than 3 years Right Solution is the only mechanic I would ever go. They are all very nice people. They know every secret about the car, mine is Volkswagen. I regret that I did not go to them earlier. Thumbs up to them!

I can't say enough good things about this place. Awesome service with a smile. I brought my 2002 530i BMW here to get some brake work done. Their prices were very reasonable (I called around to a few places after they gave me their quote). In addition, they got my sunroof closed (the motor is broken and there was a 2cm gap when I tried to close it) and also repaired the hose for the wiper fluid (none was coming out when I used my windshield wipers) for no extra charge. While they were doing their diagnosis of my car, their waiting room was comfortable, there is a computer to use, they also have free wi-fi, and free water.For the repairs themselves, they worked around my job schedule, so I dropped the car off right before they close at 6pm, they gave me a nice loaner car at no charge, and I came back the next afternoon, dropped off the loaner car, and picked up my car.I am so glad I found them, and they are now my go-to mechanic for my BMW!

Walter checked out my Toyota Tacoma, gave me a thorough diagnosis and didn't charge me a dime. in the end he recommended some exhaust work i need to do down the line, and referred me to his friend's exhaust shop. honest guy. they do all makes of cars at this shop.

Right Solution is THE Saab mechanic shop of LA. They've taken care of me and my Saab(s) for years. I stopped in for my routine oil change a month or so ago, and they noted that my brakes/rotors were due to be changed as well as a minor hose leak that needed to be fixed. They gave me a price quote for all the work. I came back a few weeks later to get the work done, and they dropped the original quote price by 10%, AND they were able to get all the work done (including ordering and picking up parts) within a few hours. I couldn't imagine taking my beloved Saab anywhere else.

They were very responsive in taking a look. Called them in the morning, brought it over a few minutes later. By early afternoon they'd run diagnostics.Sadly there's nothing to do to save the transmission (short of replacing it) but, since they weren't able to do any work, they didn't even charge for the diagnostic!Super great and friendly team and would recommend anyone going here!!Service: Transmission

Love this place! The owner is very professional, honest and intelligent. The prices are fair and the employees move fast to get your car fixed right and in great time. Will be bringing my car here again in the future. PLUS they have FREE pre-purchase inspections! Unlike other places that charge 100 bucks just to look at your vehicle. Highly recommended coming here!

I recently moved downtown and needed a mechanic nearby and I came across Right Solution decided to go in to bring my Yaris for a safety check.The owner and everyone I spoke to in there are very friendly. They spent the time to explain to me that my car needed new brakes and he could do a so so job or a good job that'll last me a couple years. I decided to go ahead with the latter and I'm glad I did, the difference was night and day.Higly recommend these guys and make sure you park in the enterprise lot!

Guillermo and a CREW OF THREE worked on my car to diagnose a windshield washer fluid problem on my 2007 Benz. After all that time and energy, Guillermo said "unless it really bothers you, I wouldn't spend the money. " NO CHARGE. Same as most mechanics, they look you over before looking the car over and decide what they can hustle. Went there 2 years ago to get some new plugs put in, when i arrived to pick up the car the owner Walter pulls me over to my car and says "you need new brake pads" and then points at them and says they're worn out bad, but as he is pointing I'm looking directly at the pads and they looked fine, but I tell him its not in my budget and ask how long does he think they will make it, he tells me less than 2 months before they start to cut into the rotor. So when I get home I call my ex to come over and look at how bad they are, my ex laughs and says they look almost new, the guy was just trying to rip you off. That was 2 years ago and I have yet to change pads and ex says theyre still over 75%. So as far as my experience go they tried to scam me and take advantage of me, so I recommend only going to this shop if you know exactly what you need and can commit them to a fixed price otherwise you may be in trouble because you will not be dealing with an honest mechanic like these other reviews would have you believe. This business is engaged in a very deceptive practice to the point of ripping parts brought from a dealership. They punish a customer simply because a customer brings their own part. I brought valve cover gasket from a Hyundai dealership because I wanted to have an original part and they ripped it on purpose. It is horrific. They also ripped a fuel pump gasket. I had previous incident too. This business must be shut down. I will also report them to the Better Business Bureaue and the Automotive repair and beyond. I will persue it further. The best mechanic ever. This is the best place to get your car fixed. And this is the second time that I have been there. The owner and the personel there, are very profesional. They make you feel confident. They really take their time to explain what might or is wrong with your car. Furthermore they give you a free estimate. These guys are amazing. They fixed the skid plate in my car and didn t even charge me for it. They were super friendly and explained exactly what was wrong. They seem very honest and I definitely get the sense that they care about their work. Would easily recommend these folks

These guys are my new friends! Jorge printed my Yelp inquiry, took my keys, and they quickly diagnosed all the issues. Walter called me going over everything in detail with recommendations and options. They fixed it all for hundreds less than my other quote, and had it ready the next day. A few days later Walter called to make sure everything was ok.Services: General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair
