As you can see from every other review this might be the last honest auto shop still around! I ve lived in LA for 5 years and have actively avoided auto shops and dealers because they are all just trying to scam me out of money (young female). I was finally recommended to speak with Wally by someone who has lived in LA their entire life and I m so happy I did!A dealership told me I needed to do thousands of dollars in repairs after I brought my car in for a recall issue. Wally took a look at it and said the only thing I actually NEEDED to do was replace two of my breaks. He then replaced them the same day for a fraction of the price. And along with my car he did the exact same thing for my boyfriend s car after he was given a crazy quote from the dealership!He is an honest worker and will charge a fair price. I am now recommending him to all of my friends!

WM Auto Service Where Lattes Are Scarce and mechanics are plentiful!Let me tell you about our Saturday morning adventure at WM Auto Service. We were in a real pickle, you know, one of those times when your car's belt is acting like it's auditioning for a scream queen role in a horror movie and the air conditioning system decides it's the perfect day to take a vacation to the Sahara, and you don t have an appointment. So, we stumbled upon WM Auto Service.First off, this place was like stepping into a time machine back to the days when mechanics were mechanics, not nail technicians or coffee connoisseurs. They didn't hand us lattes, pamper our nails, or fluff our hair. No, they did something radical they FIXED the car. Shocking, I know!But let me tell you, they were quicker than a cat on a hot tin roof. They pounced on our car trouble like it was the last piece of pizza at a party. These folks were more eager to help than most new car dealers who'd charge you a million bucks an hour and still make you feel like you owe them a kidney.The best part? They're all about business. No frills, no fluff. These folks are the real deal. They're as hardcore as a heavy metal concert in a thunderstorm, and they know their stuff better than most. They won't charm you with manicures, but they'll charm you with their top-notch work.So, if you're tired of the new-age car shops that hand out lattes and spa treatments but can't fix your car to save their lives, WM Auto Service is your ticket to nostalgia, where they'll do an amazing job without the fluff, and your nails can stay as rough and rugged as your ride. Greedily good? Absolutely. Hardcore? You bet. These guys are the unsung heroes of the car world.

Wally serviced my Buick today and did an excellent job in a very fast time! Needed new brakes and a rotor he got me in and out within an hour and gave me the best price. I will return for all future mechanical needs! Amazing work

Went with my niece to get her older model Lexus assessed after the dealer quoted her $6000 for repairs. Ridiculous!! Wally scanned the car & gave her an awesome tip to cure the issue----it would cost $30 for a specific fluid. She saved $5,970....the deal of the century!! Don't look elsewhere. Take your car to Wally!

Wally is the most honest and trustworthy mechanic in town. I needed my car checked because it was making a loud noise and he told me the wheel bearings needed replacement. I got an estimate from two other places and they were over $200 higher. I called Wally this morning right at 8am because I heard a loud shearing noise coming from my drivers side and after jacking up my van I realized the wheel bearing needed to be replaced. He told me to bring it in and when I got there he noticed I m from Michigan and have a long drive back home. On a Saturday he got the work done in a few hours. As a new customer I couldn t believe it. The van is running much better and the price was very reasonable. Still the best mechanic on the Westside! Honest, reasonably priced, and excellent mechanics. They can service all makes and models of cars. Wallid and his crew are great guys and always go the extra mile.

Came in for a "check engine" light. Walid plugged into the car immediately. Turned out my gas cap was crooked when I put it on which set off the maintenance light. He screwed it on correctly and sent me home without a dime to pay. I was outta there in about 10 minutes. Many shops would have sucked you dry over something like this. When there is a bill to pay the price is very reasonable and Walid is always easy-going. I highly recommend.

There are a million great mechanics in LA, but none are as honest and personable as Walid. This place is amazing. An oil change for my Nissan Rogue costs me only $49 and I've never once been advised to change filters or spend on extras. The owner even advised that I wait on a particular repair since I had plenty of time before the part needed replacement and there was no need to spend money on it now. When's the last time a mechanic ever said that?

How are there no reviews here? This is the greatest mechanic I've ever known. I haven't had a car for years, but when I did, these guys always gave me incredibly honest advice, sometimes sending me away with no charge. I've recommended them to many friends, all of which are completely satisfied and won't take their business anywhere else. So honest, and very reasonably priced.

This place is very friendly and efficient when it came to dealing with my car troubles. I was able to schedule an appointment within a few days and they finished repairing my car in the same day. I would recommend coming here for your car troubles.

Great place recommend to me by my collision repair guy. I was in accident and the internal damage was worse than the cosmetic damage sadly. My car was running ok after my accident but the engine began making a strange noise brought it in to WM and they were friendly looked at my car and said I could bring it in the next day to be fixed. They repaired the water pump which was causing the problem and for a decent price than other shops very pleased with the recommendation from my collision guy.

Just got back from getting a side mirror replaced. They are honest people and skilled mechanics, and got the repair done very quickly. Pricing is extremely reasonable. I will definitely return for any future car repairs and encourage anyone in the area to go to them as well.

WM Auto is great. Are you looking for an honest mechanic? You've found one. Twice I've taken my car to them thinking I had an expensive problem. And twice they've found the real problem and fixed it for much less than I expected. Highly recommend.

These guys are the best. Charged me less than he quoted because it took less time than they thought it would. I asked them to check a few other things the dealership recommended and they mentioned that I didn t need those at this time and recommended when to bring it back. Best pricing in the area and very honest mechanic. If you live in the area, save yourself the trouble and just go here.

Went in thinking I had a major problem with my transmission, but I was told it was just discoloration due to dye in the previous coolant. They didn't try to run unnecessary diagnostics or make up issues to run up a bill, but instead just eyeballed it and didn't charge a thing. I ended up leaving it for an oil change, which turned out to be reasonably priced. All in all, I got out of there several hundred dollars cheaper than I would have at a less honorable repair shop.

I went in with coolant leak last week. They ran a test and found the problem fast. They fixed the leak quickly. Super professional and excellent service with affordable prices. Would definitely recommend this company for any auto repair.

The best I ever met !Super honest. Been going there for years even after I moved across town. Trust is the key.I sold my car when Wallid told me he wouldn't work on it anymore...! (not worth the repairs)... 'Cause I sure ain't changing mechanic !Thank you WM !

I'm deeply familiar with my car and have a technical job, but I still would trust these guys over my own diagnosis... They're just that good and honest. They did work for me for $250 that the dealership wanted $850 for.

Walid and George are wonderful, and they has saved me several times (at the same time ensuring I hang on to my 25 years old Camry much too long). They are extremely good at detecting problems and their fees are really fair.

Most honest mechanic I have ever met. I'm 75 years old so I have met a lot of mechanics in my life. Walid is a straight shooter. He doesn't fix anything that doesn't need fixing. Reasonable pricing. I want him to be my mechanic for my life. I send others to see Walid. Sincerely, Samuel

So good I almost don't want to leave this review so you don't go and make the place too busy. Honest, quick, reasonable, and every other thing you want a car repair place to be. After bad experiences elsewhere, this place was a breath of fresh air.

I have been doing business with w m auto for over 20 years and the are the most reliable and honest auto repair shop around these guys deserve10 stars . i tried many mechanics being i own 12 cars in my company so happy i can trust these guys
