After the Toyota dealer quoted a really high charge to service the high voltage hybrid battery cooling fan and replace filter, replace spark plugs, and service mass air flow- for my 2010 Prius! Called an independent car repair service that my partner uses but they do not work on Toyota's and recommended Tony's Motor Service.When I called, Robert was very helpful and provided an estimate of costs.My car was ready on schedule. Edwin aka Tony provides friendly, and efficient services with reasonable costs. I saved over $600! So glad to have found Tony's Motor Service.

Had an intermittent starting issue which I finally took to the dealer because nobody seemed to be able to pin it down. They told me I needed a new flux capacitor, reciprocating dingle arm, and Johnson rod. They could do the work for $3700. After I fact checked them on a few of their bolder statements I decided to live with the problem. A few weeks later the car fortunately broke down a block away from Tony's. I walked over and they said they could look at it on Monday. They did what they said they would do and properly diagnosed the issue. They confirmed the diagnosis and explained how and why they had confirmed the diagnosis. They did the work and the price was palatable. A fraction of what the dealer quoted and unrelated to both my Johnson rod and dingle arm. I will be returning and I will be recommending. Thank you and the team for your conscientious efforts.

Tony s Motor Service did a wonderful job of adding security measures after my 33 year old truck had the driver side door jimmied and the key ignition broken. They did a thorough inspection and pointed out several areas of needed repairs. So glad!! Highly recommend!

The staff were very helpful and kind. They went over all my options for what my car needed and what I could do maintain my vehicle without going over my budget. They were also so nice to stay later by 15 minutes so I could pick up my car on the same day. I normally don t like to keep people waiting after their store hours.

I brought a 95 bronco to Tony's motors to have it mechanically fine tune to insure all was right. They got through the vehicle quickly and my gift to my dad was in perfect working order upon delivery.Ty to Edwin and his crew!

If in doubt, don't be... the 5 star rating is legit. These guys are the real deal. They took their time in addressing my concerns, and got to the bottom of the weird vibration I was feeling with 2002 4Runner. This is by far the best repair shop I have ever encountered, and I will use them exclusively from now on.

I took my car to Tony s after the dealership tried to charge me $3000+ for the maintenance issues they found. Tony s inspection found the same issues and charged me 1/5th the price. That s proof that the dealership gauges you and that Tony s Motor Service is worth it for any car concerns. Plus they were very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend going to them

Driving from San Diego I noticed an issue with my vehicle. After leaving the gym the same issue was occurring. I went to Tony's Motor Service and I was helped immediately and was given information from Bengee to schedule an appointment. He was so thorough having great customer service.

Initially I thought its 5-star Google reviews were fake but over 400 reviews couldn t be, could it? I had my parents took their 2007 CLK-350 for massive oil leak and smoke out of engine bay, thinking it was catastrophic but Robert helped finding the problem (broken oil gasket), cleaned all oil spill and got the car running with no trouble in 1 day. Absolutely happy with result and I too give my 5-star review along with 400+ others! Way to go, Tony s!

Great communication and service! The staff responded readily to my email of questions and request for approximate costs/quotes for the work I requested. I also had my own parts and they accepted those with a small price increase in labor for this trade off. Most shops refuse to give approximate costs and demand you bring your car in first which is a scam I do not appreciate-I steer clear of businesses that play games with customers. Tony s was recommended to me by a few people and I am very satisfied with the overall experience.Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are the BEST!!! Part of my car was broken and within a week the new part was ordered, painted, and my car was just like new. Can t thank them enough and so happy to be a customer of theirs!

Love love love them, as a woman going into a mechanics shop can be intimidating I felt heard & understood and well taken care of and most of all it was priced fairly!!! They now do and have been doing the entire family s cars.

I called Tony's thru a they got me an appointment asap. When I dropped my car off, they were quick to get me checked in, gave me all the details of their plan and an eta of when it might be completed. Super friendly, attentive and listened to my concerns. Cost was very reasonable and I know they did their best to get my car back on the street. I felt very good about doing business with them and I highly recommend you using them for your car services, especially if you own and old car that you just don't want to give up, like my 1992 Geo Tracker convertible!! Robert and Edwin really saved my butt after I messed up repairs and created a huge oil leak! They were very understanding and informative. They even diagnosed another problem and walked me through how I could fix it myself! In September of 2020, while searching for the auto service company with skills to maintain older cars, I was referred to Tony's Motor Service to take care of my 1988 Cadillac De Ville. Since my first visit to Tony's I have been very happy with Edwin and his team. I've owned my Cadillac for five years and it has never run better than it does now. Tony's is my garage of choice for my Cadillac. Tony s motor service is a true gem! Smart cordial and very attentive to detail, they fixed and improved all the little (and big) problems that my car was experiencing. I had just purchased a 1988 Volkswagen and I needed a repair shop that knew how to work on older cars, Edwin and the team took excellent care of my vehicle and left it running smoothly and purring like a kitten. Tony s motor service is my new go-to mechanic!

My very old car was acting up in a serious and somewhat mysterious way. I brought my '98 4Runner into Tony's thinking it needed major engine work. They diagnosed the issue and were very good at communicating exactly what was wrong. There were several issues, but I appreciated them providing details on each one (with photos) and giving me an honest run-down of costs, and what work could be postponed for now. I don t trust my leadership when they tell me I am due to get new parts, and they over-charge (as we all know!). Once they started to tell me with regular frequency (the second after my extended warranty was over) that I needed to get new this and that, I decided to get myself a second opinion and, after some research online, found Tony s Motor Service. Been here twice now and super happy with their honest services and advice! Edwin told me when I would need to get other parts at a later time when it s actually needed - straightforward, no-nonsense and just trustworthy. Great value - definitely cheaper than when you get work done at dealership. Will definitely return when I need my car looked at in the future!! I ve been coming here for maybe 8 years now. It was a recommendation from a top-notch mechanic in Santa Monica. This other mechanic liked Tony s Motors service so much, that he sent me there. Edwin and his group are completely honest when it comes to service and recommendations. They won t try to upsell you, or BS you.
