Acosta Smog is place you can trust to get the job done, Professionally and Adequate for not so bad of a price. Sergio is always kind and takes the time to let you know everything that's going on with your car. He gives you options, and allow you to make a decision. He doesn't force things on you or take advantage of your finances. I will continue to have my car serviced here. SCSE is a place located in the heart of LA.A place that throws you back when customer service was the most important thing along with great knowledge. Even tho I was a walking customer they accommodated to my schedule since I was in a time crunch.I strongly recommend this place to who is still looking for both great customer service and a superior car knowledge. I changed the brake of my 2008 Ford Taurus about half year ago. It was speedy, exceptional, and excellent service, as the brake functions perfectly after repair. The technicians are very friendly and caring. They have a waiting area it has coffee, water, snack and everything which makes customers super comfortable. Now I come back for the oil change, and it is great to come here again!

Sergio was awesome, he scanned our car for issues first free of charge and then directed us to the waiting area where they offered complimentary snacks for our kids and ourselves, smog check was quick and very affordable with no hidden charges, this place is awesome

Had check engine light just one month b4 smog test due. Google ratings were high fir this place and my scanner told me it was an EGR EXHAUST issue which has multiple causes possible. Sergio has 30 years experience as owner and boy did he know how to diagnose this issue. He found it and fixed it in about 3 hours labor and his labor rate is terrific! It was clear that he has a huge base of loyal customers because my needs were put on hold about every 5 minutes due to them rolling in and being treated soooo well. Recommend you leave ur vehicle there, if you can find a parking spot...his was pretty full for the 2 days I was there. Oh, I'd love to make Sergio my 1st repair shop pick due to his honesty and experience but my wife and I share one old vehicle and I will usually need to wait for it, which was not terrible since he provides many comfort snacks and beverages...and entertainment. Great socialization with him and customers. Reminds me of an old fashioned barber shop. In the 10 hours I was there the time flew by since I was enjoying myself. Oh, and he's a Ford Performance guy like me! I'm trying to talk Sergio into expanding or moving to enlarge his facility and as a small business development expert, I think he's listening. We'll see.

Ohh my God, I went to this place for the smog check, but I was so surprised I never saw a place for car mechanic so clean like that, also my daughter was with me and she loves the sweet area!! Thank you so much for the attention with us!

Stopped by to get the smog test done on my car. The service took no longer than 15 minutes and Alex and his team were nice and professional, they even assisted me with getting my car out. The shop was clean and the price was good! I would definitely stop by for other services in the future!

The perfect place to get a Star certified smog check for a great price. In these tough times the people working there were very professional. Coronavirus was taken into account and proper social distancing and face masks were worn. I highly recommend going to this place for a professional and fast smog check without the BS

I got a smog check couple months ago and this shop fixed a "check engine" issue with my car, honestly if i could give more stars i would, the owner is very helpful and explains what your car needs, not to mention they have a nice waiting area with free snacks and drinks, i know to comeback here for any issue. For anyone looking, look no further, this car shop is worth your time
