I took my car to get smog checked on 1/31/23. It was seen by Robert. He failed my car because the exhaust manifold was cracked and he could smell hydrocarbons . He claimed he could fix it, but the part would be several hundred dollars to replace. I told him I had a mechanic and he said it s not good to ping pong back and forth to different mechanics.I took my car to my mechanic anyway and he said he couldn t see an issue. My mechanic sent me to the smog referee and they also said they couldn t see a problem.My car has since passed smog and I was able to get my registration renewed with the DMV.I can t speak for the repair service, but the smog check is sketchy and ROBERT KIBRAMASIHI is also sketchy. BEWARE!

Avoid this place, very crowded parking and waste of your time.The old guy with the stringy white hair wasted almost an hour of my time before refusing to even Smog Check my car. He first asked basic questions like the year, make, took a picture of under the hood then went in his back room for 30 mins. He then came out and inspected the car again, asked if I had headers which I did, looked underneath and asked what the shiny thing I installed was. I said it's a new O2 sensor installed the prior year. Then he refused to smog my car and told me to leave. I wish he didn't waste close to an hour of my time or at least told me what the issue was.I took my car to the very next Smog Check down the street, and passed in less time it took to even pull into this guy's crazy crowded parking lot.Horrible parking, very uninformed attendant.Avoid at all costs if you value your time, the guy down the street was much more efficient and cheaper too.Service: Auto emissions testing

I had a little emergency--I noticed the plastic undercarriage in the front of my car was dragging the pavement. I needed someone to rig it up so it didn't drag, at least until I could get to my regular mechanic. I pulled into Robert's place because it was the first place I saw once I noticed the problem. Robert had the car up on a riser within 5 minutes, popped the piece back in place, replaced some missing bolts, and had me out of there in no time. He barely charged me and even gave me a cold bottled water while I waited (it was 95 degrees). Nice guy, very helpful!Service: Auto body & trim repair

Extremely fast service. I had my smog check finished within 10 minutes. I arrived, waited less than 1 min in my car, was directed to drive my car into the smog detection area and then had the entire procedure finished within 10 minutes. I never even stepped outside of my vehicle. Highly recommended!!!

YES! Robert is very reliable, honest, friendly, great technician, and always willing to go out of his way to help and makes sure your car is working properly. Not only is he a great technician, his prices are always very good and competitive. I have been going to Robert for over 5 years and never once felt pressured to buy or cheated on. He is very thorough and to the point. Overall great service, friendly, honest, and reliable. I highly recommend. THANK YOU, ROBERT.

I went to this place for a smog test and Robert said that it failed bc my check engine light is on. Fair enough but then he proceeded to fix the issue.The check engine light is still on and he charged me 232.00. A smog check is 70.00. Therefore he charged me an extra 162.00 for nothing Bc my check engine light is still on.I had no choice but to pay it in order to get my car back. Robert was more concerned about a different customer and basically brushed me off and literally did not fix the issue or offer any solutions.Service: Electrical

Ridiculous. No customer service, the guy acts like he doesn t want to be there and work. I took my car there for an inspection since it was making a noise, and the guy asked me: what is making the noise? Lol, that s what I m bringing my car to the mechanic for you to tell me what s going on IDIOT! After that question I just closed my car s hood and leave.
