My friends Honda had a clicking sound when making right turns so we stopped by S&S auto through a recommendation. A road test diagnostic verified it was an axle problem. We left the car for repair. Later in the day we picked up the car and was shown the damaged parts. Diagnostics,quality parts and quality labor 3 things to remember. Parts aren't equal either 1st choice Factory parts, 2nd choice since this is a Honda Japan made parts after that the part quality drops off substantially. You get what you pay for. The sign says Honda but they work on most vehicles.

Andrew & Kevin are the best! Kevin was very honest and open about the issues with my car and noticed something that 2 mechanics had not picked up on recently. They quickly identified that I had a power steering fluid leak due to the belt coming in contact with the hose and replaced the hose for a very affordable price. The other mechanics are friendly and take great care of your car. They told me about future maintenance my car would need and did not try to upsell me or treat me differently than they would a male customer. The only star I take off is because it was very hard to get into the shop's lot and had to park next door in the small shopping center & there are a lot of tents outside of the entrance. These guys are scammers.Stopped by for the first time to change out my air intake. Kevin kept insisting that I needed to go through every car in the junkyards myself in order to find the part and it'd be soooo expensive and only after I go uninstall it from an old car in the junkyard that happens to have it, and THEN bring it to them to install. You have to know cars better than they do in order for them to do good work for you. Untrustworthy.I found it for <$100 on ebay. Got it in 2 days. Watched it get installed in 40 minutes.

So my 1989 Honda CRX failed smog due to "ignition timing" and my deadline with the DMV was running out. I called ten different auto repair places--two of them blatantly refused my vehicle like I should known better for asking their business. Most of these other companies said they did not want to deal with it or it was too difficult to fix.So, I called Shew and he was pleasant over the phone and told me he could fix it. I brought it in early the next day and he even had the task done by noon.If you need a Honda specialist in West LA or the Mid-City area that is reasonable and honest--S & S is the place for you(by the way I live in Hollywood might I add--so you understand the desperation). Shew was awesome and I passed my smog test with flying colors--thanks !!

These guys are the real deal. My VW GTI MKV battery died on me and I called in and spoke to Jhon on a Monday morning to see if I could bring it in. They were able to take my car in by the afternoon and they popped in a new battery in less than 30 minutes. Really straight forward with the pricing, I couldn't recommend them more. Just to clarify R M's review, they do not offer a 2% cash discount.

Excellent, honest and professional service. I had a flex exhaust pipe replaced on my SUV and they saved me over $500 (quote from dealer and a standard muffler shop). I have been looking for a car repair shop for the past two years and finally found it in S & S Auto Repair.

Been taking my 2000 Accord EX to Shew for the past 15 years. He's the best, no surprises, excellent service. He's saved me thousands compared to dealership rates and has kept my car in perfect running order.

These guys are very honest. I've taken my cars there multiple times and they diagnose the problem quick and don't over charge. Twice I went in telling them I thought I had a more expensive problem but they told me I was wrong and it was a cheaper fix, what mechanic turns down free money like that?

We just picked up my friend there, and our tail latch broke.She liked Kevin a lot and said he always helps her! She told us to go and see him.Sure enough he was nice enough to tell us what to do until we got home to San Jose.Thank you Kevin!!!

Mr Chu passed away and his original mechanic Eddie is no longer working at this location.my coworkers took her car in for service and she reported horrible work and service.No Good seriously.I will be also looking for a new shop. Not ripping me off forget about it pal

I went here for one thing and they fixed three things! This is what everyone wants out of an auto shop! And it was inexpensive!!! I couldn t believe it. I will bring my Acura here everytime something goes wrong.Services: Engine repair, Oil changeServices: Engine repair, Oil change

I wanted to change out my spark plugs ,most mechanic would jump at opportunity to make a few extra. After fully inspecting at no charge they told me if i was ok for many more miles.
