This is the BEST auto shop in NELA! They are very ethical, honest and do GREAT work. They took good care of my car and turned it around quickly. Good, honest mechanics! The prices are great, and the waiting area is really nice, it's full of goodies and entertainment while you wait. Definitely the nicest auto shop I've ever been to. I sincerely appreciate Anthony and Jessie for everything!

We all hear horror stories about how hard it is to find a mechanic you can trust, so if that's what you need, go to Rantz. We've been bringing our cars to here for almost twenty years and have always been super happy. It's a local, multi-generational family business that is involved in the community, and they really know cars. They are very friendly, dependable, and go out of their way to help customers. They've always been honest about repairs and options and their prices are super fair. No reason to go anywhere else!

These guys are the best. I truly hate owning and maintaining a car and have historically dreaded taking it to a mechanic. The Rantz team is friendly, fast, and aren't trying to swindle you. Will literally never go anywhere else.

The guys at Rantz are always awesome. We have many cars, and are our go-to place for repairs. Jesse has always been an amazing help whether its finding a hard to get part, or working with my car warranty to get the repaired covered.

Came here a few weeks ago for an oil change and the service was great! I received a text message with a COMPLETE car inspection! Telling me everything about my car and what I need and will need in the future!! I was also given some great food! And my car was washed!! Who does that? Lol no one!! I will definitely be back!! So glad I found these guys. Anthony and Jesse are super professional, and knowledgeable when it comes to repair and services needed. I thought I needed a repair and after a diagnostic test, they assured me that it was not needed. I was so very grateful to have saved the money. Their prices are competitive and work is guaranteed quality! I know I am in good hands here. I would most definitely recommend Rantz to anyone in need of vehicle repair. Love this place. They treat you better than family! They always make sure I'm taken care of and explain everything. Even washed my filthy truck! I showed up on a blistering day and the owner had an ice cream truck for his hard working crew...they got me one too!

I came to Rantz with an urgent issue and they got back to me right away with a solution. They also did a full inspection and sent a full document with photos. All the parts needed were available and I got my car back the next day, just like they had told me. I drive a Fiat 500 which can sometimes be challenging for some places but it wasn t a problem at all at Rantz. I definitely will be returning!

I was very lucky to have found Jesse and the Rantz team. I had for the first time purchased my own used car, a 2017 VW and knew it needed new breaks and a tune up. I didn't have a lot of time or money to get this done, but I knew I had to choose wisely and be able to find a trustworthy mechanic that would be taking care of my car with me. Jesse checked out my vehicle and gave me a great price for both services, an oil change, saved the day. Now Rantz Auto Care services mine and my husband's cars, Rantz is our go-to place whenever we have questions or issues, all we have to do is call the shop and talk to Jesse or Anthony and they get us back on track. They're a part of our family's team! We are gonna win this race with Rantz!

Rantz auto is an amazing shop that s family owned and gives back to its community. My husband and I have been coming here since 2008 and will never change shops. We drive from Thousand Oaks to Eagle Rock to have our cars serviced with Rantz. And my husband knows he can send me knowing they won t lie to try to upsell me on stuff we don t really need.

Rantz is amazing! They always make sure our cars are safe and reliable to drive on the road. They make me feel like family everytime I take my car in for either maintenance or an unexpected repair. The they look out for me and my car. I feel comfortable sending my parents to Rantz knowing that the job will get done right and at a reasonable price. My car wouldn t start with the worst timing. I took it into Rantz same day to diagnose it and with a laundry list of other minor repairs I ve been putting off. They figured out the problem quickly, and helped me plan out the other services with what was urgent and what could wait. My car was done in less than a day, the prices were very fair, and my car is running great now. Its really refreshing to work with the Rantz team because I know they re looking out for what s best for both me and my vehicle.UPDATE: Went into Rantz again with an oil issue was diagnosed and fixed within 2 hours. My greatest fear with repairs was usually that I m not very car savvy and I didn t want to get taken advantage of. I ve never had to worry about that at Rantz. They re so fair about their pricing and are so patient and helpful at explaining what is going on with my car. Thanks Rantz team!

I went to Rantz Auto Center to get my driver side window repaired. When they quoted me the price I informed them I didn t have that amount of money in my account. These WONDERFUL PEOPLE asked me how much I could pay I told them and they said I could pay the balance later. This is the first Auto Shop I ve been to and I ve been to many, that gave me the option to do a split payment. Thank You Rantz Auto Center you are one of the GOOD GUYS I highly recommend them.

Been going to them for a couple years now and it has been nothing but amazing every time I go. It has been one of the most attentive and straightforward experiences I ve ever had with a shop, every time the car has left the shop it drives better every time. I can t recommend this place enough if you need any mechanical or body repairs they will take care of it. I've been to Rantz Auto Center three times now, and I'll be coming back again and again. The work they do is quality and timely. Each time I've brought my car in, Anthony has worked with me to get the work the needs to be done done, and let me know which repairs can wait. I've never felt pressured into any type of maintenance or repairs, and have always been helped to understand what is being done to my car and why. Anthony and the team were AMAZING!!! I was able to see first hand what was needed for my car and even able to be hands on with the repairs. The mechanics showed me how oil changes are done and how to put new brake pads on. As a woman, I always felt like the shops would try and up-sale me or add repairs that weren t needed but not here! I know I can trust them and they will even escort you around town while you wait. Who knew Eagle Rock had delicious margaritas, molcajetes and churros all within blocks of the shop!? I ll definitely be coming back to Rantz and would give them all the stars possible Heck, even the neon moon!

I was in a fender bender a few weeks back. Already knew where I would be taking my car. My family has been taking our cars to Rantz for over 20 years. We started way back when, when his dad Ricardo worked there. Now his son Anthony runs the shop and let me tell you, the quality of work and customer service you get from him and his front man Jesse is next to none. They are quick, efficient and help you maximize your dollar. I always feel like family is taking care of me there. These guys are the best of the best. On top of their top notch auto care work, they are always giving back to their community. Anthony's holiday hams are the best. His ongoing promotions and giveaways speak volumes about the kind of people they are. Do not sleep on these guys. Get all your car needs from them. I cannot recommend these guys enough. I have been back to them multiple times, some for smaller issues like a tire plug and some for bigger issues. They take the time to listen to you, and give you honest feedback on what is best for you and your car. Genuine service.I came in last year with a broken computer for my 2006 Saab 9-3, and these guys tried multiple different computers, sourcing from all over the country. They put so much labor into it and when the computer ended up not working they had me bring it back and we tried another computer and reset, no charge.As a female, certain shops I have been to have tried to take advantage of that, but these guys give it to you straight regardless of gender or how you look.I will be coming back here for as long as I live in the area! When visiting any service station,I always feel skeptical and defensive with diagnosis and explanation of services needed. Visiting Rantz the explanation on top of the trouble shooting makes me feel at ease and very comfortable with what is happening. I mentioned to a neighbor I was sending my vehicle there and he replied "they do good work and have for years".I couldn't ask for a better recommendation.

So happy i found these guys! They re so kind and try to get what you need at the least cost. I used to dread getting my car fixed because i don t know much about repairs and chain auto repairs always try to upsell. Rantz would never! Took my car in for an alignment, Anthony and Jesse took care of me right away. I needed 2 tires and they gave me a really good deal. The guys at Rantz are very knowledgeable and friendly. I cannot say enough great things about Rantz. I just picked up my old Mazda, which needed a new battery and starter, and while it was in the shop, they fixed a bad rattling noise that a previous mechanic hadn't been able to get right. It sounds great now! Anthony and Jesse were kind, honest, and 100% committed to making sure I was happy with the outcome. Totally satisfied customer.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been taking my cars to Rantz Auto since I moved to LA almost ten years ago. They've worked on three different vehicles I have had. They have done great, reliable work on my vehicles for a good price (way better than dealerships!). I've even taken a used vehicle that I was considering buying in there to get checked out, and they gave me an honest assessment of the vehicle and found problems the dealer had been lying about - so they saved me from making an expensive mistake!
