Great super service. They said 1-2hrs, but it was done in 1hr. Nice lounge while you wait with laptop/phone charging ports and plugs available. HUGE Big screen TV that actually looked good and not set all messed up. Everyone was super nice. I got an oil change and they only charged me $18 & some change when I brought my own oil and filter. I also brought an extra washer to replace the one for the bolt to the oil-pan plug. But they said it was the wrong size and gave me a new one correct size for free. And I returned the old one to where I got it for a refund. They normally charge $22 but I guess the manager was being nice and gave me a discount.

Friendly staff, with fair pricing. They always provide full transparency about services to be done or issues found with a breakdown of costs and are happy to keep you updated along the way while your vehicle is being serviced.

Arrogant, Incompetent, LazyEach word describes exactly what this location will offer you, once you decide you want to waste your time and money.No respect for customers, no Manager on site, seems like they have decided to refuse service to Everyone, as what they provide is not a service, but shame.If you want to do a car inspection for lyft or uber, you dont need an appointment as the app tells you, just go to this location, sit there for an hour or so, maybe someone after finishing all personal things, might want to serve at least 1 client that day, and you may be lucky, it can be you, if not, good luck, no one wants to answer any your question or concern, they are just standing there, besides their computers, and typing, typing, typing...Seems like a branch of a bank, not a car service.In short, avoid this place, there are many other great PEP Boys locations, which take care of your needs, and not just sitting there at their desks, and typing, typing, typing...Maybe they are typing good reviews about their service shop, as I cant get any person giving this place more then 1 star.Update:The corporate office reached out to me regarding this review, but guess what: Exactly - they are just sorry for my bad experience, and wish I will have a better one. Rest assured, I will, as I will never ever again use Pep Boys, as your corporate office response showed that its not just one location issue, but overall Pep Boys very poor attitude towards their customers.

It was easy to make a same day appointment to get my headlights changed. They also let me know my oil was dangerously low, so they fixed that too. Thank you.

Every time Pepboys repairs my car, I am 100% satisfied. There mechanics are well trained and they perform outstanding job, which is above the industry standard. I recommend Pep Boys to everyone.

Horrible experience. Brought my car in and specifically told them the bearing was going bad, they refused to consider it without paying for a full inspection. They then gave me a laundry list of things that 'needed attention' and would have been over $2000 to repair but hadn't bothered to check the bearings.When I reminded them why I was there in the first place they did more 'inspecting' and came back with an estimate for the bearing which I agreed to. W hours later they called and said the part wouldn't be available till Saturday, which was a day later than orignally agreed on, but I said ok. Another 20 minutes later they called back and said they could have it Friday and would put me in the firat slot to be worked and would call when it was done.Friday i waited till nearly 6pm but no call. I called them and was told that there had never been an order for parts nor was there anything about the car being serviced. They then swore they would order the part and have it Saturday morning and start work immediately. I had to make a rush decision because I needed to be out of the place I was staying that night, and had no way to get my car before they closed so I agreed.The next morning I check my messages and there's a text that they can't do the work till Monday. I pick up my still broken car and the first thing they ask is "Are you here to pay for the repair?"When I point out that they didn't do any repairs the clerk says "Oh, right" and walks off, comes back with my key and says "Have a nice day".Never coming here again.

Fast, efficient, great prices and very helpful and nice staff. This is the 2nd time I ve had them change all 4 tires and will be coming back for all my future tire/oil changes!

The work was done sufficiently, however, my issue is with the excessive wait times even with an appointment. 3.5 hours of a wait when I was quoted 1 hour is unacceptable. I only received a tire installation, balance, and alignment.

They made recommendations for a thousand dollars in up-charges via text message and then weren't available on the phone to discuss them. We passed on the up charges so we could go get a second opinion. When we picked up our car, it had a terrible smell that hasn't gotten away three days later. Also, when we took the car in for a second opinion, we were told their up-charge recommendations were unnecessary.

Did the job well. Came in for oil change, tire rotation, and brake check. Kind front desk staff.. Only reason why they didn t get 5 stars is because I made an appt for 8am, and they didn t start my car until 9:30am.

The worst experience ever!!! They try to over sale you for thousands of dollars. The mechanics are incompetent , Unexperienced I let them work on my vehicle took a home and the problem continued , I took it back they told me would get on it.. I pick it up later on today the problem continued , I ended up taking it to a real mechanic shop they fixed there problem and they didn't try to over sale me on parts. Horrible Horrible experience

I made an appointment and came in when they were not busy and it took them four hours to do an oil change. At one point they came out to try to upsell me, and when I turned them down, they said I d be ready to go in five minutes. It took another hour from that point and I could see my car. No additional work occurred. It just sat there for another hour. The staff are extremely inefficient with poor communication. So many cars just sitting there with no one working on them while the employees chat with each other. I ve had good experiences with Pep Boys in the past, but this has turned me off this location forever.

I went in to get my tire pressure monitor sensor checked out but it turned out I had a nail in my right rear tire. I was a walk-in so the service took a long time but my tire got patched and I was able to make my lunch date.

I choose prp boys over the dealer assuming that the service will be better. I was wrong. Terrible customer service, incompetence, incompetence and don't stand by their words. They told me 30 minutes to get the parts and 30 more to get them installed. Turned out to be a 4 hours waiting. Employees don't follow up on the customer to inform of possible delays on job to be done

2+ hour wait time is what keeps it from being a 5 star review- but the staff was friendly, waiting room had charging ports and they did have a customer restroom.I went in for low tire air pressure that wouldn't go up when filled with air. . .turns out it was a screw (gotta love LA streets). Upon evaluation they recommended changing all the tires, so that was all done same day. Pricing was fair.

Too long to checkin and checkout vehicle especially with no one in line, no greeting from associates on arrival, they ignore you and you start questioning your existence, maybe I'm invisible. All this while they type on their computers making me wait 10-15 mins before they check-in, same with checkout.Dear Pep Boys, I need to get back to work, I can't wait for a representative like that, I brought the car in to save me doing the work, for the checkin and checkout time combined I can do the oil change myself.The staff like to chat and talk but they won't acknowledge a customer alone in a lineup and 15 mins later they will check you in.. It's unbelievable that there is no manager managing all this.Even the linked coupon when I completed my Pepboys survey doesn't work either, what a mess.

Truly the worst place to get anything done to your car. You will wait over 2hrs for an oil change with an appointment. Have had tires replaced here, bought a road hazard warranty, and now claim I never got it. Even though I explicitly asked about it after coming in with a flat on my new tires. Customer service is non-existent. Go elsewhere.

So yeah I mean, it's a tire shop. So who really wants to be there, right? But this crew, on a Sunday, did me solid. SOLID. Fam, I went out of my way to write this review solely because nobody asked me to do it and I saw they only have 3.7 stars at the moment... nah. This is a 5 star shop. I scheduled my appointment at like 0900 for 1030 on a Sunday morning and they had a safe replacement tire on my Tesla Model S (custom order tires...) on the vehicle and I was driving away from the store at 1115. No, they weren't the friendliest, no they weren't the happiest. Neither was I, bro! IT'S SUNDAY IN LOS ANGELES AT A TIRE SHOP. Act the part, get the job done, and NEXT!A well oiled machine, running an extremely sufficient and adequate outfit over there on San Fernando... cheers.Edit to include: I had a hole in the side wall and a mobile tire pump to make it home the night before. I waited until the next morning, pumped the tire up, and made it to the shop during business hours. No towing or needing of emergency appointment necessary in my situation.

I bought a set of tires and whatever they installed looked super dirty and used. They said that's how the manufacturer sold them and refuse to do anything about it.
